Fun to play, very unrealistic

The game has a lot of potential, but the challenges are so unrealistic and impossible that it kills game play. I’m not really even a NASCAR fan anymore, but I know you only really draft at big tracks like Talladega and Daytona, but to get all three stars in a race they ask you to draft for 10,000 consecutive feet at a shorter track like Richmond while somehow passing 15 cars. You’ll spend three laps to somehow, miraculously, complete the draft challenge and then realize it’s the last lap and you’re still sitting in 35th place. I’m pretty confident the developers have never seen a single race in their life. You can upgrade your car to help make some of the passing challenges more doable, but it gets expensive having to upgrade the research and development and garage every single time you want to upgrade. The alternative is to use another drivers car, but you only get so much gold to use. Plus, when you use another car it’s unrealistically fast. You can easily go from 37th to 1st in just a couple laps while the other cars look sitting ducks. The game is fun to play, and it’s a great time-waster during quarantine, but the better alternative would be dust off the old ps2/3 and play those old games. If this game cost $15-$20 and actually resembled the old NASCAR Thunder games and such, I could see the gameplay being fun for diehards.

Realistic and exciting experience

I have had the opportunity to race in many different ways and vehicles. I have tried several different games that offer a NASCAR driver experience and very few come through. NASCAR Heat mobile is definitely one of the best games I have tried. Above was my original rating of 5 stars. Now I have played for some time and I have to take my rating to 3 stars. I worked my way through the entire "season" and was able to max out my car and the fan zone. When you complete the season, you're given a trophy, a free second car, and the season starts over, only harder. NOTHING IS HARDER! I went through the second season quickly and got the trophy and car and began the 3rd time through. With everything maxed out, there is nothing to spend money on. I ended up buying several other cars before getting bored. It needs a bigger fan zone and better racing. Get rid of the "challenges" after the first season and concentrate on racing and winning. Better cars that are affected by bumping and tracks. And please let us use the pits to fix issues in game.

One thing that needs changing…

This game is very fun and well designed for a mobile game, but there are a few problems, most of them because it’s what you’d expect from a mobile game. There’s one in particular that I recently came across and decided I should point out for anyone who wants to play this game. When you buy something, it doesn’t say, “Are you sure you would like to make this purchase?” I know this doesn’t seem like a big problem, but if you think about it, that warning that you’re about to buy something is beneficial in many ways. Say, for example, your just scrolling through the car shop in the game when suddenly your thumb slips and you accidentally buy a car you didn’t care for worth 150 gold when you were still saving up for an epic car worth 200 gold. You just lost a huge portion of your hard earned gold, and for all you who haven’t played this yet, gold is really tough to get on your own. I was saving up for one of the best cars in the game and I got a notification that one of my car’s upgrades were complete. Then I accidentally tapped the button that makes the time for upgrades shorter, which cost maybe 60 gold, and, well, you know the rest of the story…My point is that this should be changed and that the purchase warning is really worth it. Thanks for reading all the way to the end of this review and have a great day. 😊

Difficult but that’s not the problem!

First off, the game is difficult without spending actual money but that has zero to do with me taking stars away, my problem with it is after every single race the screen goes black like an ad is about to pop up or something but it never does. I have to completely close out the game and re open it every single race. Also, it’s already annoying enough that you only get 5 “energy” type things required to race, but add in the impossible challenges that conflict each other (10 low passes & 10 high passes in a 3 lap race that you 99% of the time have the slowest car in the race) and it becomes almost impossible. You could at least reward us with an extra energy if we do manage to complete all the task. Instead we get 250 cash most races yet it cost 10k to even get parts after having to upgrade 2 zones at 5k each, but then you actually have to pay 1250+ for the part, and THEN after all that have to wait 15 minutes for it to install. Geeze, it’s almost like you don’t want people playing because by the time you start the game up and race a few times it’s over until hours later and by then we’ve moved on. Sorry for the rant, this is the first time I’ve ever left a negative review on any game ever so I just wanted to make it clear exactly why I’m giving it a low rating so that I don’t look like a hater

Grinding

I like the game I play it almost everyday...But there is one major problem, the grind. You are only given 5 “lives”. After every race you earn money the better you do the more money you earn to upgrade your car. But with only 5 “lives“ it takes forever to upgrade even 1 part. You also have to pay for all upgrades separately. The fan zone r&d and the installation is all a separate payment. Then you have to wait a period of time depending how strong the part is. I think either you give us an unlimited number of “lives” or have all the upgrades be 1 then buy all the parts and install them. Also lower the time I wait to install parts it took me long enough to be able to buy them now I have to wait a hour to even use it. Or lastly just give us more money for a race and fan zone. This is not hate just want to see one of my favorite games improve and be even betterThank you.I would also like to see a non career mode element added to the game

One Of The Best Racing Games, But Needs A LOT OF WORK!Q

Ok, I’m a NASCAR fan, and I love racing games. Since I was to cheap to get NASCAR Heat 2, I Got This Game. I really liked it. But OMG when I started progressing further, I noticed a lot of flaws... First Off: There is very little paint schemes!! You don’t have Jeffery Earnhardt, but you have Mark Tift and Harrison Burton?! If Your Gonna Do That, Add Camping World And Xfinity series.I would love to have 2 or 3 paint schemes per driver. I would also like to customize “My driver” instead of JUST the 94 Chevrolet Chevy... Also, the interior view is so crappy. I could see a actual fire suit from the outside, but on the inside, its just blue with white gloves... besides how it looks, I have some game complaints: You cant go to the Glen with 2 laps, pass 19 cars, have a top speed of 143, and have a lap average of 120. That’s B.S. That’s the problem with a few other races as well. For the cautions, Stop with the smoke on the track. Have a big one! Have point standings! Have MTJ actually lead! Have a winners ceremony. QUALIFYING! PIT STOPS! Better Car AI! Just A bunch Of minor things that tick me off. Like No Rear Cam! Just Fix These, And It Will Feel Like NASCAR, Not Laps For Charity.

Fun

I don’t get the bad reviews, I mean, yeah, it’s a free app, expect to pay a little money if you want to do that. I personally have never given a penny to a free game app because I’m just not into that, think before you spend. That being said, I’ve had this for a couple years and although I rarely play it now since I’ve beat it once already, it is a very good game and very reasonable for a free app. I love that I can race as my favorite driver. I just wish that it had longer laps and I really wish that the 2018 Champion Joey Logano was on the “cover” of the app as 2017 champ Martin Truex Jr. was. I know Joey is not exactly a fan favorite but Kyle Busch most certainly isn’t and yet he has had the spotlight before.Oh, and qualifying would be cool, but it would kind of screw up the game of being able to pass so easily and complete goals. Maybe have two different race options, the original and a more realistic one, with more laps and qualifying and stuff, maybe no goals and a harder to win race? Pit stops would be epic and maybe make it points based, have the playoffs, final four, championship, everything! I know, a lot to ask out of a free app but still, would really like that. Thanks!

Fun Until….

This game is super fun! Others have noted in comments that earning $cash$ is difficult, slow, and wins are not compensated correctly in comparison to cost of upgrading. All true! But you can get through all of that and build a winning car, without using your cash. Race it out! But, when you get to the last races on the schedule, the game and your tasks become extremely difficult compared to other levels you have passed! You spend your time winning races, upgrading your car, faster, better tires, etc., only to get rewarded with next to impossible tasks. Tasks like drafting for long periods of time! So my car is faster and to finish schedule I need to go slower and draft? Really….Extremely fun Until….. you get close to finishing! That’s when understandably things get tougher. But, it should not be impossible! After months of trying to finish last 3 races with 3 stars like all other races, I am deleting this game! Yes, it needs to be hard, I get it…. But Not impossible! I guess I haven’t found the answer? But, I know that the answer will not be me spending my cash.

Whew.

Okay, so firstly I downloaded this game cause the graphics looked good, the game looked overall fun. No. It is literally so hard to earn currency. The races get weirdly harder after just a very few races when you’re still in the lower levels of upgrading your car. You start in 35+ position on every race no matter your previous position in the last race. Let me throw some numbers from the game itself out here. To upgrade the buildings to buy better parts and install them is $10,000 hands down everytime. First place wins you $3,000 but more than likely you will not even make close to that amount because you start in last nearly everytime. And upgraded parts have been $2,400 apiece (that’s as far as I’ve made it in the game) and I am struggling! Considering deleting the game, it’s more time waiting on the money than actually having fun. I’m not gonna sit here and race, only to struggle to hold 35th place cause I’m not winning enough money in races to upgrade my car. Seriously. Like c’mon? I’ll wait for a update, but the point of a game is to have fun and enjoy yourself. Not struggle.

Disappointing Cash Grab

This game is basically pay to win. The most you can ever make from a race is $3k. But many of the upgrades cost $50k plus. So you have to do about 19 races per any single upgrade. Can you gives you the same amount no matter how hard or easy the race is so it makes the most sense to do an easy race over and over. I raced Talladega about 100 times and my car is still barely even a quarter of the way upgraded. The hard challenge are impossible unless you have an upgraded car. So you can either plan on doing the same race about 1000 times to be the hard challenges or you can pay a bunch of money. Not to mention all the money you pay them through the ads they make you watch over and over. Finally there is no career mode. You can’t make any fun managerial decisions, you can’t customize your car beyond three paint schemes, you can’t change your number, you can’t earn very much money when you are away. Overall they are trying to squeeze every penny they can out of you through ads and paying to upgrade the car. But it’s no longer fun after a certain point.
