Has been very helpful.
I can't always speak so I use this to communicate.The number 1 reason I use this over apple notes and bear is the user interface; everything interactable is at the TOP and stays there. That means I can put my phone on guided access and disable that part of the screen, so no one can go through my photos.It's also nice how the text size can be changed by zooming in and out, which makes it easy for other people to adjust it however they need.Another thing I appreciate is that the aesthetic is customisable for free. Mine looks just like a notepad and that's lovely, and also after some messing around I set it up so you can't really tell what part of the screen is greyed out when guided access is set. That way I don't have to deal with dramatic Karens going "YOU DON't TRUST ME??" unless they try something.My one nitpicky complaint is the font selection. It would be nice if I could get a classier font like Times New Roman.
Alternative to Apple’s Notes
I have used Apple’s Notes app for as long as I’ve had my phone to give myself reminders and notes for my daily life. Awhile ago though every single time I use the app it started to spam me with the message of “Your iCloud Storage is Full...” I looked for a way to disable this, but there was no way as far as I know, besides upgrading an already expensive iCloud plan. So thank you developers for creating an alternative to Apple’s Notes app. Your loss Apple.
Good but a few pointers......
The app is a great back up notes app. But there are a few things you need to know about this app. One thing that is cool is you can lock your app so no one can see your notes. This way, I can put important information on this app. So you know, there is a part where it says no adds but I have had this app since it was created practically and I have not had 1 add. These people just want your money. This part is kind of like click bait. Sometimes the app might glitch but not to often. So if you do not like glitching, clickbait in adds I do not recommend this app. If you don’t think you want this app maybe use the notes made for iPhones. 📱 But this app is a great back up notes app
Notes WILL disappear!
I loved this app and found it so reliable. It was so easy to use and I appreciated how it wasn’t synced to any other of my iCloud devices (precisely the reason why I downloaded it). I’m a writer so I used the app to jot down ideas for books, chapters, etc. To say I depended on it heavily would be an understatement. I had hundreds of ideas written on here that were not backed up anywhere else. One day, I opened the app and every one of my notes were gone — every idea, book, chapter, scene… gone. I recommend this app to anyone who just needs a place to write stuff down but do NOT depend on this app for reliability, only write things down that you’re okay with losing. I’m sorry to say that I will not be using it anymore after my experience with it, maybe if this disastrous bug gets fixed.
Not Ready For Release
I downloaded the app yesterday and liked the interface so much I decided to pay to remove the ads. Unfortunately, while trying to do so after hitting their ‘remove ads’ button, all I got was a screen saying ‘$3.99’ and a spinning loading indicator that never finished loading. I contacted the company to ask for assistance, and to their credit they did get back to me within 24 hours. But, after acknowledging some users were having this problem, they gave me a ‘fix’ that involved hitting the ‘remove ads’ button multiple times. How can that be a solution when, after the first hit, it immediately goes to the ‘$3.99’ screen again and freezes on the loading indicator? I’ve since deleted the app in frustration and have moved on to another. The two stars were given because I liked your interface and sleek, no nonsense appearance.
Good but could be better!
I do love most things about this app; however the thing that is keeping me from getting the paid version is that there is no quick way to jump to a certain letter. Other apps have the alphabet along the right side and you touch the letter to take you to words starting with that letter. That saves a lot of scrolling as I have many notes. If that feature is added, I will give 5 stars and get the paid version!2/1/16- Took rating down from 4 to 2 stars. Since one of the updates to my phone, the lines are all screwed up and I waited months for you to fix it. Finally did and it's some better but still not like it was. It is quite disconcerting when the writing is through the lines and all over the place. Also since the last update, ads are now full page whenever you go out of a note; I always switch between numerous notes and having to wait while an unwanted ad plays is REALLY ANNOYING. I didn't mind the banner ads near as much. I would buy the paid version if these things were fixed but as it stands, I am looking for a better notepad.
I like this app could be better
I know you see five star ratings on other apps and think that it’s a robot. Your right, those are fake, but not this one. I like the app, but it could use some updates. For all the people who have it or are getting it this will save your life. On regular notes anyone in your phone can see it, but with this, go to menu, settings, then passcode this will save you for those important birthday plans that you don’t want the birthday girl or boy to see. It could be better, and I gotta say apple notes is better, but I love the passcode thanks for reading this, and try it out
It’s Alright...
I’ve only had the app for about 5 minutes but there’s already a few couple that bug me: (1) the bullet lists don’t actually turn into bullet lists — they just put “•” in front of the line — and don’t have any sort of indentation to them; (2) you can’t bold, italicize, or underline anything!My roommate and I both started off using the Apple notes but after a while kept running into “iCloud full” notifications when we started typing (super annoying). She switched to this app, and I soon followed. I’m not sure if I’m going to regret it or not; though I may delete if the aforementioned issues don’t get fixed
Such a great app!
I love this app because it is a great way to type down your thoughts and what you are going to do throughout the day. It’s also great because it helps you rewind, and you can write down anything you want! Like, songs, your daily life, or just simple things like birthdays or addresses. I 100% recommended this app and I hope it can be as helpful to you as it is for me and other people that have this! Thank you for reading my review and I hope you suggest this app!
Private notes
After buying a new phone, I’ve been looking for a good note book to store sensitive notes. After trying out 5 different note apps, I stumbled across this one. I have an extensive list, either I have to input each one which takes forever. This app allows you to scan each note to a new folder! Also this app have a lock option which makes me feel much safer
