Great, but needs some improvement

In got this app for my 2 year old and it has really helped him with saying more words! There are just a few bugs/improvements that could be made.1) When editing a previously made customized flash card, the recording will disappear and have to be re recorded. (For example if you change the thumbnail picture then the recording will not be there even though it still plays back on the editing screen)2) After making or editing custom flash cards the sound goes way down when you go back into the flash cards. If you exit the app and go back in the sound goes back to normal. 3) It would be nice if you could go back to the last flash card.

Pretty good app

Images and customization options are great! But image viewing design needs some work. Expect to swipe left / right to view images backward / forward and tap to repeat word. Instead, all you can do is tap image to move forward. No repeat; no back etc. Frustrating for little ones.

Pretty good app for babies and toddlers. 👍

This app is so good. Last year, it helps Suri to use flashcards like this. So I’ll like this one because it help babies and young kids learn with flashcards. Thank you AlligatorApps for sending this app.

Difficult to Customize

I want to create a customized list using the existing cards, but I can’t figure it out! I tried making a copy of the list, but I got stuck in a loop telling me to name it, but not allowing me to. I am frustrated!

Nice pictures

Love the app. Just have 3 suggestions. I wish there was an option to take the words off completely. Also, I wish there was a option to make it harder to change the pictures at will. Other apps have a two finger swipe across the page to change it to make it more difficult. Right now the slightest touch changes the picture which brings me to my 3rd suggestion which is to be able to go back to a picture that already passed. I do love the app and hope these features are improved in a future upgrade.

Perfect

Love it! My 17 month old wants to go through her customized family flashcards every day. Not only can she see her loved ones and pets and learn extended family's names, but she can hear their voices since they helped me create the cards. As for all the cards in here that aren't familiar, just star the ones you want to keep and then you can just go through your favorites. I think this aspect makes this an app that works well for many cultures - where children would be familiar with various types of fruits and vegetables.

Love it, but annoyed with support

I love this app. The kids can't move on to the next card until the recording is done saying the word, big deal for me as my kids would just tap through. I like how things are categorized. If you want basic animals, you can find them in the first words section. And then you can expand with dog and cat breeds. The ONLY problem I have with this app is that I cannot get the microphone to work with it to make customized cards. The app has permission in my privacy settings, so I'm stumped. I contacted their help email and have not heard back and it's been about a week.

Initially loved it, but now not so much!

Loved the idea that I could make flash cards and share them with my co worker and vice versa. Initially it worked great but now when we try to share, it just puts us back to the home screen. Have tried to contact support several times with no response. It's too bad because it was such a great idea and time saver, not to mention quality product. Hope they figure it out soon!After lots of frustration I finally figured out that you can't title your categories with symbols or the program won't share via e-mail or Dropbox. After revising the category names it was easy to share my customized flashcards and I'm very pleased with the app!

Good but could be great

As an SLP working with preschool through fifth grade students, I use this app on a daily basis. I love that I've been able to create many custom categories and have been able to share these with colleagues. There are a few things I would love to see in this app to make it really great. #1 ability to go back to a previous picture, sometimes my students tap the picture too quickly and there is NO way to go back. #2 ability to turn off verbal reinforcement in game mode, I have a few kids who repeat everything and it's hard to get them to stop repeating 'super' or 'you did it', plus it gets a bit annoying. #3 this app seems to freeze quite a bit, often we will need to tap an icon 8-10 times before we can select the category. #4 a way to keep data on items named or identified correctly. That's my wish list for this app!
