The Digital Museum provides the user access to a virtual map that can be used as a guide for an in-person or virtual tour of the site. A short video that presents the history and significance of the site is also available. Finally, the app includes three-dimensional images of most of the petroglyphs present at the site, allowing the user to closely examine the carved stone slabs. The Caguana Digital Museum is completely free of cost and its content is in English and Spanish. The project represents the culmination of a graduate thesis presented as a requirement for a Master’s in Archaeology degree.
