A honest review
I’ve heard that there’s a few things wrong with the app like bugs. But if you can get past all of that it’s really helpful in my opinion! I’d say it takes about a month to get a $10 gift card (ofc this depends on your surveys). To be even more honest I didn’t really like this app when I first got it. It was inconsistent on surveys and paid very little. But eventually I got my first $10 gift card which was for chipotle and when I found it worked I took it a bit more seriously. I’d say out of this whole year I’ve made about $50! All you have to do is give it time. And one more thing. It would be nice if they could add a $20 gift card feature instead of it only being $10,$25,$50. I feel like that could be more helpful! Summary. Just be patient and stay consistent!
My experience, an MSR
I absolutely love this app. At first, I thought that this was just going to be another one of those survey apps that I have tried in the past. sometimes you do get disqualified for surveys but often times they pay really well.. update survey apps that I have used in the past they only pay about a few cents per survey if not at all. it would take a long time to redeem your points for rewards like gift cards or to your PayPal.. MSR is much different from everyone else. if you get disqualified for a survey, they will still pay you about five MSR.. most of the time the app isn’t just about surveys. I love how you can get paid for sharing your screen time and you’re in app purchases, and furthermore.. some of the time, I am a bit skeptical when it comes to my privacy, but in a way you have control over what you share with them. well some control at least.. I even love the daily TV surveys. I just wish that they would pay just a little bit more, but I am satisfied with the payment at the end.. I was even able to redeem my rewards today at $10. I do wish though that MSR did not have an amount limit that you have to reach before cashing out.. I do understand out that the purpose is for the gift cards and their amounts. The transactions are quick and easy and it really works.. I love this app, and I cannot wait to redeem more points and earn more money.
Its a good way to make some extra cash
At first I thought this would be like other survey apps I’ve tried where you get kicked out and don’t get paid for the time wasted. But, I’ve had it about 2 weeks now and I just now got my first $10. You will still get denied for certain surveys but you still get paid fairly for your time and your attempt. The surveys/jobs aren’t too long and sometimes are quite interesting and can be fun. On some jobs they give you, you can make $1.50 off one job entirely. The only complaint I would have is that sometimes you won’t get any offers or jobs unless you open the app multiple times a day and check. Then you may get one shortly after opening the app. Then some days you won’t get anything. However, this has been the quickest and easiest way for me to make some cash on the side. I am very satisfied!!
Great app to subpar app
This app used to be great from consistent weekly $1.50 screen time, $4 monthly bonuses, daily $0.40 tv survey, Amazon/google data payouts ranging from $0.5-$0.7, and their 20% referral bonuses. Not to mention they used to have their own survey every so often that paid $3.50. Now everything has been reduced to $1.50 total weekly data and they are actually collecting more data from users saying it’s the same payout as from before which is a blatant lie, since the screen time was already $1.50 with the other data collection payout on top of that. The $4 bonus gone is a huge slap in the face since that’s literally $48 gone. The referral is capped at $5 which didn’t have a cap before, talked with support and told me that. And now the daily TV survey which also has been reduced to $0.30 is a hit or miss. Went from easily earning $250-$300 from this app to probably only $150-$180 and with the daily TV survey not working as well most likely just $100 if even? Every reward has pretty much been slashed by 60% or more with more data collection and work ever before. I fear the end is coming soon…
Pleasantly Surprised and Grateful
I am pleasantly surprised at the frequency with which I’m able to earn payouts. I was skeptical about it at first, and hesitant about sharing so much of my information on this app. But I don’t think they ask for anything that isn’t somehow being collected already—except probably without my knowledge and definitely without paying me. The other apps that do pay for my information are not nearly as generous. The ten bucks I earn with MSR may not seem like much in isolation, but it really is helpful to us financially, since I’ve been unable to do my usual work as regularly as I used to due to health issues. The ability to earn cash (not just gift cards) make copayments and prescriptions more affordable, even if only a little. Thank you for making MSR available.
No longer Consistent and reliable app
***UPDATE*** as per my previous five star review. This used to be a great app. In the past month, it has gone downhill. We are only receiving a third of what we used to receive for tasks, and now this app is filled with crappy surveys that are never credited. Most recently I spent 20 minutes and completed the survey and was given nothing. I’m not wasting my time and falling for that again. PREVIOUS REVIEW***I’ve used this app since August 2021. At first, I was frustrated because a few of my retro tasks didn’t pay and I had to redo them. Why? Because I did them incorrectly! I left a bad review which I am rewriting now, a year and a half later. Since that time, I have earned over $200 and cashed out about 15 times either through cash directly to my PayPal account or gift card in my email inbox, depending on my choice of redemption. It’s always been paid within a day or two. I spend less than five minutes a week and make a few dollars each week, consistently and reliably. This app is not going to make you rich quick, but an extra $10 or $20 a month for just a few minutes of my time has been worth it. I could make more money on this app but I chose to do only do the retro tasks, not the surveys. I’ve used many money making apps over the years and this one has been by far one of the best, over the long term.
Decent App, Could Use Few Improvements
I was immediately drawn to this app because of how they portrayed themselves in their description section. Who wouldn’t be enticed by an app that claims to pay you for information that you might have given away for free without even knowing otherwise. It has been successful for the most part in fulfilling that promise by giving me several recurring tasks each week that can add up to be anywhere from a $5-$10 gift card. Aside from that, I haven’t had much luck with their “partner surveys,” where a large amount of points is offered (even the smaller amount surveys as well, too.) I’m always immediately screened out of those because they don’t like either the fact that I am a woman or that I’m 31 years old (I’ve never gotten past the gender and age verifications for those surveys.) What I’m trying to say, really, is to give this app a chance, because it is worth it for getting yourself a few extra dollars in your PayPal account or a gift card of your choosing.
Love MSR
Been using this app for a little over 2 months .I absolutely love it ! The data tasks took me a couple runs to master -but once I did the jobs a few times -everything clicked ! Learned a lot about using my IPHONE more efficiently as well. Now I can do the tasks without even reading the directions-like second nature ! And they are fun and super quick to finish. Besides the weekly data tasks -you get offered other special data jobs-so the opportunity to earn money on MSR is real ! A couple tips for first time users-make sure to answer all demographic questions -the more info you provide-the more plentiful the job offerings get -also log in daily and do the tv watch survey -if you watch at least one television /streaming program a day-you can participate in this one-they ask questions about the show you watched - plus about the commercials as well . It’s actually a fun job and sort of like a daily bonus-you get paid even if you don’t qualify-the last tip would be-the more jobs you complete -the more jobs you will be offered ! I have cashed out twice and payout through PayPal is now processed instantly -this is a brand new feature -and s big reason for my review today ! I highly recommend MSR -fun -and lucrative !! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all day !! Jennifer Hallin
Best survey app
I’ve been using this for about 6 months & it’s definitely my favorite survey app! The surveys are super simple, the reward amount for just one survey are great payouts, it’s so easy to use, & a lot of it is stuff I’ve already done like use my phone & just record my battery usage or app usage in the settings (which doesn’t show any personal info just a % you were in the app or whatever) or answer questions on a tv show I watched I mean it’s THAT simple & you get paid! The options for gift cards are awesome & each time I’ve redeemed a gift card I have it in my email immediately! This app has easily paid for 6 of my husbands & my date nights, & all for some little surveys I do in my down time! Highly recommend downloading & giving it a shot!
Awesome app for doing simple tasks
I found this app while going down a rabbit hole of “GPT” apps/sites and it instantly was added to the list of legitimate apps. I tested it out for a month, cashed out, and got my payment. I kept going back and I’ve now cashed out multiple times, and continue to use this app. There are weekly retro (their term) tasks like recording your screen time, battery history, and a few others. Safety was my main concern about sending this data and that doubt was quickly removed with their privacy rules. Now this is where I can’t give this app 5 full stars. SURVEYS.. they offer surveys which you have to constantly go onto the app to get them. The downfall… you don’t qualify for 80% of them. In the months I’ve had this app I’ve completed 30/40 surveys out of maybe 150 offered maybe more. They are really short surveys but before you even answer a question you’re denied. Overall I still use this app and will continue. I personally cash out with pay pal you can cash out at $10,$25,$50 and it’s paid out with in 24 hours
