Decent enough

Unless you buy the the membership, you only have a small handful of pictures you can actually do. The app is a bit weird with where you put your finger, sometimes you’ll grab a piece from the left side of the screen, but a piece from be right will move. It’s a bit annoying. The game is a good concept, but it pushes you to buy it.

Are they insane?

$7.99 A WEEK?? Nearly $32 A MONTH???? There’s barely any content here- you can finish this in a week. I’ve never encountered an app that was this expensive, for something with this little content. Also, the game is buggy as all get out. Numbers disappear, the wrong puzzle pieces come out of the dock when you select it, etc etc. I’m using this game for the free trial and that’s it. I can’t believe the price, it’s totally outrageous!

Basically unusable without a subscription

I used to enjoy this app. The subscription is too expensive, but I was willing to watch an ad or two for a puzzle. But now virtually all puzzles require watching 10-20 ads each. That’s just not worth my time. Sometimes it would take more time to watch the ads than the estimated completion time for a puzzle. Even one a day that cost only a few ads would be tolerable, and until recently, you could usually get that. Sadly, as it is now, it’s pretty much useless without a subscription. And there aren’t nearly enough new puzzles to justify spending that much per week.

I love this app!

I absolutely love this app, but please come out with more than two pictures a week. It feels like it takes forever just to get new pictures. I do like that you can watch ads to get the premium pictures. I have done every single category.

Update is horrible!!!

I used to really like this game because it was fun and simple to use but the update over complicates things. The pieces not useful to you used to disappear if you zoomed in and only needed certain pieces now this is considered a hint and cost you hints every time when you zoom in and ant the pieces that aren’t useful to you in the part your zoomed in on not to show up! So so frustrating because this was by far my favorite poly puzzle app for that reason and now it doesn’t do it automatically anymore! I wish they would change it back!!! Soo soo frustrated! Update:Tried so hard to like this despite my frustration. The pieces when you try to move them move funky not where you want them to move at all. The only good thing about the update is all the new pictures but I hope they switch everything else to the way it was before. If it’s not broke don’t fix it.

Great App and Offers

Unlike most Poly Puzzles, they actually add new pictures regularly and have a yearly subscription fee that is much more reasonable than a monthly fee. My only complaint is it does not work in landscape mode. I think that is the only thing stopping me from giving it 5-stars.

I love this game but....

I really love playing these puzzles but there’s one thing I can’t stand about it. It keeps telling me I have new puzzles to do yet they randomly show up. Which makes me really mad because I’m paying a fortune for the app. And to hardly get anything new makes it less fun when you’re going back and redoing what you’ve already done. Generally more new ones show up after I’ve cancelled the subscription, almost like it knows I’ve left so now it’s going to try and entice me to come back. Which I generally do after I’ve given it a break for a month. Then the vicious circle starts all over again. Sigh...😞😢😵☹️

Disappointed

I’m kind of disappointed with this app. I like the picture and designs, especially the color, but pretty disappointed in the cost for what you get. I’m a mosaic artist and like having something I can do in the car or waiting in a dr’s office. $7.99 / week is a lot of money but I went ahead and made the full purchase because watching 20 videos to unlock one puzzle was just annoying. But after upgrading I still get adds, at least 1 every time I open the app. No clue what “unlimited hints” means because the hint feature seems to be exactly the same as no hint, just a different color, and as another person stated, there is difficulty moving through the pieces dock, sometimes it just won’t scroll. Don’t waste your money on the subscription it’s way too much money for what you get.

Would be great

I’m only giving three stars due to the frustration encountered when trying to pick and drag pieces from the dock. There are many times when the app will grab a piece not even close to the one you touched in the pieces dock. It seems to be really difficult to pick pieces with an Apple Pencil, so don’t bother with that. I do however like the pictures and the amount of choices. I also appreciate being able to unlock pictures by watching a video.

Update shows a disappointing direction

The recent update changed a few things, but most noticeable was the change to essentially monetize things such as filtering out pieces from the dock which aren’t visible on the screen — a previously integrated feature. Why?! The absolutely absurd pricing of the subscription is probably off putting to most, so perhaps the developers are looking for ways to incentivize subs. To me? It shows an unfortunate downward direction for this app. I’ll find a different app if this sort of thing continues.
