Useful app, but needs more options
I’m really glad there is an app like this that can stream whatever Chromecast can’t, but as far as I’ve experienced, watching a movie with it very difficult. Most importantly, the pausing. It just can’t be done, which is extremely annoying. I see the pause button at the bottom, but it doesn’t ever work. Worse than that is not even being able to play back a bit that you may have missed or misheard, which really takes a way from watching experience.
Stopped working
Completely disappointed the app seemed promising and I paid good money because I felt it was right to support the developers after my early pleasant experiences with the app.Why have I paid to use this app when It literally doesn’t stream any of the videos from any website I’ve tried? I’m literally getting the logo on my screen followed by the website name and loading for 5 seconds and then back to the logo? Are you kidding me. This is ridiculous.
Awful new update
Used to love this app it worked flawlessly, however the most recent update it has absolutely ruined it. The new UI/"standalone" browser has caused functionality to become awful. Pages take an absurd amount of time to load if they can even load at all. The only saving grace is the ability to queue (which becomes useless since streaming doesn't work half the time)Hope the devs rollback this update, improve loading times/functionality, or at the very least offer the option to make it a safari extension again instead of standalone!
Excellent
This app is great, I have had no problem with it whatsoever. It works perfectly and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Some people in comments are saying something about having to make a purchase and not being able to pause etc, but I haven’t had any issues so far. Best app for its use ever.
Great pop up blocker
This app has really gone through some great updates. I highly suggest upgrading to pro. It's not that much and since the most recent updates I do not have any complaints
Best cast app
Can’t believe it’s not on the top searches. This has to be the best app to cast through safari with an extension that makes it simple to use. Only thing missing is to cast via guest mode so you don’t have to connect to the WiFi network.
Best app ever used
App is awesome and very easy to setup and use. I tried lot of apps to use with Roku & Chromecast but among all momocast is the best app to use with Chromecast.After few days, I bought by mistake pro version. But now it stopped working . It opens typed URL, but once click on video on page , it stop playing look like no connection with internet. Even tried to uninstall and installed again but same result, can not play movies so can not cast. Need immediate attention from developer to make it work.
Okay, but ad block becomes annoyingly disabled.
App has a slight learning curve to discover best way to pause, play, cast and return to settings once your phone goes to sleep. Overall does what it’s supposed to do, however ad block extensions in Safari become disabled. It appears that MomoCast is a browser within a browser in which ad block extensions cease functioning. Annoying since pop ups, crashes and new windows occur as a result. Would be happy to pay for app, just not in it’s currently crippled state. Please improve, app is nearly perfect.
Using it for last few years.
Great new updates. Pop-up blocker works really well and it doesn't open up a new browser anymore so they pop-ups don't show up anymore.
Close to perfection
This app is so simple and convenient. I use this with my chrome cast in order to watch anime on streaming sites. It automatically plays the video and bypasses all the pop up ads. If there is an ad that appears, there is a simple (block/show) ad button. I have had no problems with this app. If I could add 1 thing, I would make it to where links in your queue would stay there after you closed the app. This would make this app perfect.
