Was perfect, updates took away good features

I was using this app since moving to Boston and it was perfect. Now I can’t easily go back and look at the departure time the app suggests for the trip. This app is easiest to set a leave time or arrival time, preferred mode of transportation, and choose if you want less transfers or walking. This app also has the best and most updated map which makes finding exact destinations easy. But now I can’t tell when the app wants me to leave and it makes it unusable for me personally despite the other amazing functions. Stop the minimalism!!! I just wanna see times on my trips again!! I plan the night before :(

Make the Bus part of your life!!!

Been riding HRT for several years, took me 50 years to give up owning a vehicle. Guess I was addicted...? But am getting more exercise walking to & from home to bus stop(One mile each way). Have much more spendable income w/o worries: gas, oil, insurance, traffic, repairs , road rage, parking fees, body scratches from disrespectful drivers. My bus pass is still $35 per year unlimited travel 24/7. Such a deal!!!

Totally Great

Love the app and how I can plan a trip. I know exactly what bus or train I need to be on, and can track my location live. I cannot always hear the bus or train location. It is nice to know where to get off on my route and what transfers need to be made ahead of time. My only one complaint is that it consumes a lot of my battery while traveling, other than that I would give the app a “5”.

Terrible at planning and keeping track

When the tracker is working it’s great, but it is terrible at being accurate 80% of the time. It will tell you no bus is coming and to take a different bus, only for that bus to show up two minutes after you left. Not only that, but it cannot calculate walking distance at all, so it gives you convoluted routes imaginable, that don’t match with bus schedule times at all. It works decently for short distances in Pittsburgh, but I pray you to never pick a route that needs a transfer

A sundial works better

This is by far the worst app I have ever used. The bus tracking and scheduling are 100% off. I have tested the times at which it says a bus would show up, and the bus does not show up for another 10 to 15 minutes. More so, the buses arrive either earlier than mentioned, Too late, or not even at all. You would have better luck determining when the buses arrive by creating your very own sundial. I would also recommend to invest in your own bus system. It would probably take less time to establish a new bus company and it would for a bus to arrive on time.

Life Saver!

I love that the map shows me stops close to where I am and which buses are coming (or not!) the estimated times are usually SPOT ON. Occasionally the app says I should walk from Mattapan station to catch a bus that leaves from Mattapan station, which confused me at first. Also it does not account for shuttle service when trains aren't running which can add significant time to the trip. Very comprehensive tool, THANK YOU SO MUCH for this free gift! :D

Not accurate eta (las Vegas rtc)

A year ago this app was amazing! It got all the bus arrival times and routes for the most part accurate. But now with the new update from “whiz” to “momego”, the bus arrival times and routes are never right and I end up having to change routes. And then when a bus is late, it just recalculates the route to a whole different schedule that’s still wrong! It doesn’t even show me old trips anymore and only future ones which don’t help. I rlly miss how this app used to be. It’s a*s now.

Excellent app, hope it gets even more attention!

This is my go-to app for Boston transit (MBTA). The Live Tracking functionality is great; being able to save specific stops on routes in differing directions is really nice. The overall design is slicker than its predecessor, and feels faster. Interested to see how notifications will go, overall live tracking accuracy, and how route “wellness” is measured. Congrats to the team for upgrading the Boston app to Whiz!

No options for less walking or fewer transfers

I’m frustrated that my two local routes (that only run once an hour) don’t show up as options for trip planning. Instead, it only offers 20 minute walk to first transit option.Where’s the ability to note requests for “Less Walking” or “Fewest Transfers”?My home shows up in a canyon, and I’ve had to reinput my home location or it will continue to put me in the canyon. (Is that the same as putting ‘Baby in the corner’??)

New version no longer reports any data

In its previous iterations, this app was great. Reliable and convenient to use. Then it was rebranded as Whiz without any noticeable changes. More recently this app simply stopped reporting any data for any of the transit lines. Across all transit agencies, the same stock message (no departures scheduled) appeared. Checked all connections and cleared app cache. Even deleted and reinstalled the app. Still nothing. Other transit tracking apps are reporting fine, so clearly the app is to blame here. Deleted this, and have switched to a more reliable app.
