Has Potential

I really like this app, and it has real potential. But there are a few problems to address. For one, it says that you won’t get ripped off with purchases, yet you have to pay for a template I could google and download free of charge, it’s misleading. Another problem is that you have very few templates and given that you can already get those for free this app is somewhat a ripoff. At least you can make memes without PicsArt or any other editing app, but it puts customers at an inconvenience. You should either make the premium $0.99, or get rid of it completely.

The best meme generator out there

By far the best in the App Store but hopefully the developers make it even better. We need more meme formats and other functions, (like deep frying- for your dank varieties🌝.) would also be cool to add more than one photo in the frame and also add text into the frame. I guess the app just needs to be made more robust. At the moment, it’s a long way from being a one stop shop, but works well for adding a caption and a watermark.

Almost worth paying for

I make Memes for a living. Been using your app for a couple months pretty much every day. You’re definitely going in the right direction, it’s just buggy in some areas. The cropping tool is very frustrating to work with on video and mostly it’s not really working properly. Also part of the interface is not very intuitive. When you want to open a file, don’t show a huge menu of options. Just let us open a video, or picture, it’s that simple. Maybe keep the other menu items under ‘more’, or just change the layout so picture and video are more obvious. There are more things, but I would fix these first. Keep up the good work

Errors

This app used to be amazing! Now all I see is error after error. When you look at the front screen with all the options half the screen is cut off,When you try to fix the watermark as a text you can’t move it around, you can no longer change the color only the front and every time you try to do a top and bottom meme The screen pops up when you’re typing the bottom you can’t read what you’re writing. The app freezes on you and you have to restart. Videos do not fit the screen correctly. This app has become garbage

Wont save videos after purchase

At first I thought this was a great app. Its a app I've been looking for for a while. I start to edit a video meme and when I finished I found out I had to pay $3 to even download my video ... okay no problem I'll pay as I'm going to be using this app a lot.. After I pay for it I try to download the video and it tells me it has been downloaded to my phone when it hasn't. If I close the app it crashes and makes me restart the process again after my 3rd time of it not saving and crashing I'm going to assume that the app is not working.

Too many glitches

I love the options you have with other update but there are way too many errors. The app would be FANTASTIC if there weren't so many mess ups and glitches. If I do something as simple as changing the font size, the whole thing is thrown off course. It eventually gets to the point where I can't even save the picture because the screen has shifted so far down for some reason. I'm not even sure to describe it but it would be great if it could be fixed.

Right off the bat, nearly everything requires a premium subscription

Yeah, straight off for the basic stuff, you must have a premium subscription to use the meme generator, which offers you a 3-day trial subscription for it. No thank you. I can go for ads and a in-app purchase but a subscription is way off. Memes aren't owned and while the programmers did make this app, it doesn't seem fair for them to make a monthly or yearly income for something that can be made for free elsewhere. Good UI and perhaps a good experience but the whole "hey, try the premium for free for three days, then buy our subscription" factor, lowers it's rate.

UPDATED: What happened???!!?

I make memes often using this app and also use it for assistance in mobile video editing! Very helpful and cool, the best one I’ve used so far. I wish you could crop video using it though that would be perfect! And I wish the text for the watermark was more flexible to move around. And for people that want to download this app, note that for maximum potential you may want to upgrade (worth the $4) otherwise, this app is pretty much pointless. But if you want to spend the money, you’ve got the perfect meme creator!I wrote this review a little bit ago and haven’t used the app since then. Now all of a sudden I use it and it won’t download any of the videos I put in the app!! All of a sudden, this app went from flawless to not working at all! I’ve spent money on this app and I’ve yet to find a reliable app that has the same features as this one! I’m very disappointed and I am concerned for my meme making future

Great, But Need Instructions

I made a meme Just now Using something from my photo album. I tried to make another meme just I tried to get a meme Template that I don’t need to take screenshots for. I didn’t get any directions but I know it is really difficult to add stuff and make the game and fix bugs but otherwise i might have to keep on doing screenshots for memes. Thanks if you read my review this app is worthy of you have made memes before or know how to use this app not saying it’s bad for not adding directions. (Sorry I had to turn on auto correct cause I’m on a tour bus in Hawaii with my family)

Object Tracking doesn’t work on export

Object tracking works okay (not great) in the App while editing but when you export the video the tracking is either completely gone or so slow it doesn’t track at all.This is really disappointing considering I paid for the subscription just for this feature. Please fix or advise!Edit: Latest update doesn’t really improve much about the object tracking experience, however, exports are better. I find it sketchy that the developer doesn’t reveal this is a beta feature until after you pay for a subscription.
