Amazing! one problem though.

I love Picross and cats and when I saw this on the app store in early December, I got it immediately and have been playing it since. So far i’ve done all the normal levels and started the hard ones but I have a problem. After 3-7 minutes of playing, the game crashes and each time it resets my progress on the nonogram I was on. This wouldn’t be a problem if it was on normal because those are quicker to do but because I’m doing the hard nonograms it takes longer and I can’t finish it in time. It becomes less of a puzzle and more just memorizing it in order to finish it which ruins the fun. I noticed that no one really had this issue so it may not be that big of an issue but I do hope any of you over there do fix it eventually. Besides that, the game is amazing and talking to the cats is fun! Thank you!

So cute and relaxing!!

I don’t normal write reviews for apps but this game is so enjoyable I felt it deserves me taking the time to review it. The game is so cute and fun I fell in love with it instantly. It’s so enjoyable to decorate each of the cat’s rooms and learn more about them in the process. The puzzles are also really fun and not too difficult! I’ve always loved nonograms and my sister who never really understood them was able to learn how to do them through this game! (She also loves them now too!) I also am so thankful there aren’t pop-up ads every three minutes like every other app has nowadays. There are some ads, but you’re able to instantly X it out and they never pop up during puzzles or decorating or any other time where it would feel like an inconvenience. (All the ads I got were also soundless so it didn’t interrupt the calm relaxing mood I was in while playing) I feel like a lot of games that market themselves as relaxing and stress-relieving really aren’t, but this game actually is!I could honestly go on and on about this game but I’ll end it here. If you want a fun, relaxing, and cute game this is definitely the game for you! Play it!!! (Also, Arco and Oat are my favorites :3 )

Good game!

The darkening of the numbers sometimes gives away part of the puzzle that'd be more challenging otherwise but it also helps on the ones that are extremely difficult so I'm torn. Overall I think it was a good design choice. Also the biographies of the cats don't always make sense. Also, it doesn't seem like there'd be any reason to get the other pieces of furniture than the current mission so I'm confused why it's available. Finally, 10 hints is too much for the difficulty of the puzzles. I try not to use them as it'd give away most of the fun. Overall though, it's fun to have a story around Nonograms so I am a fan!! EDIT: I have realized that the hints do not reset each level and seemingly the only way to get more is to watch an ad which is annoying. Correct answers without hints should regenerate them. I reached out to the developer to confirm. Fun game though!

Great game! 💜

I know I already gave a review, but I want to give another one. Like as soon as I gave my review, the app updated. If only I had been more patient, then maybe I could have given just one review. Before, I said my favorite cat was Mango. I like Mango and Poco best! I wish we could see them as friends in the game, but unfortunately we don’t see or even hear very much of their interactions. I think it would be cool if we could have a party or something where all the cats meet up, maybe at the end of the game. I’m almost done with this update; I just have to finish Ash’s room and then I’ll be working on hard Nonograms until the next update. Please let it come soon! And also, the game is great and I totally recommend it to anyone who likes Nonograms!

good game but… the pencil system

I think this is a really cute and fun game, and I would play it a lot… if it weren't for the pencil system. The max amount of pencils you can get is 8, however I go through them too fast. For easy nonograms, I can go through 8 pencils in less than 5 minutes and for hard nonograms, I go through them in less than 10. Also, 8 pencils can only get you 40 gold cans, which is only enough to buy 1-3 items. because of this, I barely accomplish anything with 8 pencils, and I have to resort to watching ads for pencils if I want to progress in the game. I think the pencil limit should be increased to at least 12, or make it so that you only lose a pencil if you make a mistake. I know the pencil system is probably designed to prevent people from getting addicted to the game and grinding the game, but I think making it possible to only play for 5-10 minutes, and only buy 1-3 items (without watching ads) is a little bit excessive. Other than the pencil system, the game is great. There are barely any ads, and they only last 1 second before you can click close(unless you're watching ads for pencils). The cats are cute, the dialogue with the cats is cute, and the stone statue is a nice addition to the game. Please change the pencil system, and this game will be perfect!!!

Well Crafted Fun

I downloaded this game because of its cute concept and graphics, but after spending time with it I really appreciate the care its creators have taken to make a good, quality, fun app. The dialogue and stories are all charming, so much that I can’t decide on my favorite cat. The decor that you unlock is also great and I really feel motivated to finish the rooms just to see it all come together. I know the pencil mechanic is bothersome to some, but helping the cats with tasks adds an extra charge, and it only takes 2 hours to be at full pencils again. Also, this lets the player enjoy the process of helping the cats, not just playing the puzzles. There are hundreds of picross apps on the App Store, so if you just want to breeze through puzzles then take your pick, but this game has integrity and heart. As far as I can tell they only run ads enough to keep the lights on for the TWO PEOPLE credited in this game, and usually seeing them is optional. And all of this for free! Studio Boxcat has my heart now for sure❤️

One of the best Nonogram apps out there

I just love this app! The goal of the game is to build a tower of themed rooms for cats. Each cat has a story and their own personality. To decorate their room you have to “buy” furnishing with tuna cans. To earn tuna cans you play nonograms. They have both easy and hard nonograms; easy is 10x10 and hard is 15x15. I’ve only had the game a short while and I’ve already beat all of the hard games (can’t wait for more hard ones!). I think the thing that pleases me the most is how infrequent the ads are. But the ads aren’t annoying because they aren’t loud or long, they legit are just a screen image where you can almost immediately hit close. I would love to see even harder nonograms, like 20x20. But in the meantime I’ll work on finishing up the easy ones.

I LOVE this game! :)

I hardly ever write game reviews, but I seriously love this game so much. It’s so relaxing and fun, and I love to play it after a tiring day or to help wake me up in the morning or on a long car ride. The puzzles are fun, the atmosphere is enjoyable, and I love collecting all my cats! My favorite is Toto. :) I love how the more you play, the more the tower is filled with life, and they ask you to do little tasks to help them out from time to time. I’m not bombarded with ads or anything, and this is for sure my favorite app on my phone!!!Also, if I could add in a game suggestion, maybe add in a way to say hi to the cats inbetween cutscenes! It would be so fun to ring their doorbell and see what kinds of things are on their mind, or even just give them a little wave to check in on them. If you’re a developer of this game reading this, please know that I LOVE your game and this newest update! Please if it’s not too much trouble, add in more levels too with the next update, I never get tired of it! I was so sad before the latest update because I had almost done every puzzle in the game, but now that I have more ones to do I can’t wait to keep playing! Thank you for an awesome game! :)

One of my favorites

I love this game as an alternative to other nonogram games that are filled with ads. There are ads in Meow Tower but most are immediately skippable without even waiting a few seconds. The puzzles are a delight and have kept me fun for hours. The pencil system is a little annoying when playing offline, but when ads are available, a 30 second ad nearly refills them anyway. Is usually play during breaks at work or in between tasks so it’s a great game for small sessions.Currently though I’m not sure if there is a way to save your data and transfer between devices which is really sad since I will be getting a new phone soon. I have all of the cats and nearly all the furniture and have completed over 900 puzzles. If there’s not a way currently to transfer data, please implement one soon🙏

Super cute and fun game!

This is one of the best games I’ve played in a while! The nonograms make you think but are not too challenging to the point they make you want to give up. The cats are adorable, and I love their cute dialogue. I really like how there are text options you can choose from when you have conversations with the cats. The number of ads and the reward you get for watching an extra one are extremely reasonable. I’m very much considering purchasing the ad-free version as a way to support the developers for the hours of fun they’ve already given me :) I still have many nonograms left to complete and more cats/levels/furniture to unlock but am already excited for future updates!
