What’s wrong with my bot

I’ve had this thing for about 3 or 4years now then I stoped using it so then I found it the basement it’s still in good condition but it needs it’s own Wi-Fi so I tried connecting it and it said no internet connection so I tried restarting it and that didn’t work and it doesn’t need charging because I never used it a lot when I first got it the product is great but it’s just needs some updates.

A big fancy waste of money.

I got this for Christmas one year. Thought it was the coolest thing ever. I got to terrorize everybody and just play around with it. Super fun. I lost interest at one point and when I come back I forget my password. I reset MeBo and connect to the WiFi. MeBo still won’t connect. I must have reset MeBo 20 times now and that is not an exaggeration. I try letting the battery die and fully charging. Nothing. I tried rebooting my phone. Nothing. I deleted and cleared the cache data of the app then redownloaded. I tried using a different device. I tried every combination of my previous attempts you could imagine. NOTHING. God it’s the worst thing to know that it’s still able to function but the problem is too advanced to fix. Don’t waste your money as this is too popular of a problem.

Doesn’t work

Out of the box— turned on, connected, it said it needed an update. Updated. Once updated, it stopped putting out the signal (WiFi) to connect. As a result, once updated, you can’t connect. If you turn it off and back on, you can connect, but it needs the update again. Cycle repeats. Contacted skyrocket. They said to hold the reset button for 10 seconds then try again. I did. Same result. They then said oh well. Sorry. Can’t replace it, won’t fix it. Complete waste of money.

Cool idea Not working on iPhone anymore

I’ve had the mebo spy robot for 2 years after getting it for christmas! I used it for a while forgot about it for a year used it again worked fine one year later me and my sister want to play it but it just sits there and loads and does the same thing every time! Please update the app this robot wasn’t cheep and I can’t even use it!

Please listen and update the app

I bought my mebo 2.0 a year ago, I was so happy I got a mebo. When I was done playing with it I forgot about it then a year later I found him and I was sad because I heard that the app didn’t connect anymore. I tried everything I could to get mebo working, so please Skyrocket listen to me, and I also spent all my allowance on him and now I think I wasted my money on a robot that doesn’t work.

Iphone useless

If you have an iphone,. Forget about using any fun apps... they are problematic.. this app is good.. is just iphones which is what i infortunatelly have., iphones will make you waste alot of time trying to to use any app... they are all monney monney monney...dont listen to youre friends saying i phones are good.. they are useless!!!

Internet won’t connect

I’ve had this bot ever since the original Mebo messed up. Once I got this mebo 2.0 it was fine until I tried to play with it after I found it. The internet can be found but will not connect. If you cannot fix it will I get a refund along with other people? ~Christopher

App no longer works

This app used to work with iOS when the MeBo 2.0 came out a few years ago. But, with all of the changes to iOS, now the app no longer works. The MeBo has its own web page, and is certainly working, even sets up a secure password. However, when you go to connect to MeBo the app never finds the robot. This is really a great toy, it’s just a shame that it is no longer supported. Attn: Developers, since you won’t make the MeBo open source, please update your app.

Deserves -1000 Stars.........

Such a fancy pancy you product, was so excited when I got it for my birthday, loved and played with it every single day for about a month until a motor stopped working! Contacted Skyrocket, but of course they couldn’t fix and no refunds.WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY 💰 $_$Never used it again, cause, duh!!! I can’t, it doesn’t work!!If you buy this product, you are a complete moron just like me and the developers! 😡 Plus, the thing is such a piece of LAG and whoever came up with idea had a good idea, but did the worst job implementing it. Also, if I’m not mistaken, the box and the description in this app to use him to sneak on other people. You can’t!!! The motor are so noisy, I could hear it coming from 100 miles away! WHAT A PIECE OF SHIP!!!

Sky Rocket dropped support and now the robot can’t do a thing

It’s a bummer that I purchased the MeBo 2.0 robot a year ago and now the app doesn’t recognize the connection of my iPhone 11 Pro Max with iOS 13.1.1 and the robot is inoperable. I contacted Sky Rocket support and the representative just told me that since the robot is discontinued there is no support or app update to make the robot work. There is nothing he could do. This is very frustrating.
