A thank-you note to Gaper

I’m writing here to express my gratitude to this dating app. Under the help of Gaper I’ve made many new friends, most importantly, I’ve met my girlfriend. I’m a young man at 25, but I don’t like girls of my age, they are immature and inexperienced. Unlike most of young men, I prefer to woman who is older and more mature than me. Girls around me are mostly the same age as me, I don’t know how can I find the right one. With this question, I searched on the internet, a dating app named Gaper appeared in front of my eyes, after reading its introduction, I knew it’s what I want. I downloaded this dating app without any hesitation, and hope to meet someone that really match me. There are many attractive ladies for me to choose from, it seems like my hope of love. I read their information carefully and chose someone I like to chat with, and a 35-year-old single lady attracted me most. She is mature but with good energy, experienced but young at heart.

Best Dating App on the market

When I say it’s the best dating app on the market, I really mean it. How can I say that with such confidence because I have tried all the apps the App Store has to offer OKC, Tinder, Bumble, POF, Zoosk, Match, Happn, Coffee Meets Bagel and many others that has either four stars or five starts review and they charge enormous amount of money for membership and the result is nothing but disappointed. My life has changed since I have been on this app. There are few fakes profiles here but the Gaper team is great they take reports very seriously and gives you good feedback when you submit them. This APP worked for me and if it can work for a guy like me who is smart, ambitious, passionate,’intellectual, average looking, and has a great career it can definitely work for you. Just be patient, trust in yourself and be confident and everything else will work out. Good Luck

Maybe the worst dating app I’ve seen

This app is either a complete scam, or there are so many scammers that if it is real, you will never actually know for sure... very sad. It is a great concept! It definitely has a potential to fill the void for this type of dating, because if it was legit, we would all be in a place where we can find the age gap dates we are looking for. 1. You can’t talk to anyone without paying. The least expensive option is 1 month for $20. That isn’t even almost a good deal considering it looks like most everyone that is trying to talk to you are fake profiles, from a different state or country. Even if they’re real, they aren’t nearby. 2. No bio. You can post an “ad”, which is super creepy and odd.. 3. No info about yourself. If you don’t want to match with a smoker, doesn’t matter. There’s no way to know. If you are only into guys that are 4+ inches taller than you? Well, good luck, there’s no way to know until you start talking. 4. You receive notice that someone from another state wants to chat all the time while you’re on the app. But you can’t chat until you pay for premium. WHAT?!!?? It is definitely a scam! Don’t waste your time!

I never leave reviews. But I think this app deserves one. I’ve been an on and off dating app user for a handful of years and I can say I have been pleasantly surprised with the layout and concept of this app. Took me a second to figure out. But I absolutely love the questions and topics you get to choose. It opens the door RIGHT up for easy conversation. And you get to know a little bit about their personality and what they like right off the bat without having to wait an agonizing couple days of 20 questions. And I love that you get to pick what you “like” on their page. And also that you get to know what they like as well. Tells even more about them/you. I could go on but that’s what I love most. Keep up the great work by making this so user friendly and such a good outlet to meet quality people looking for mostly the same thing. Bringing people together, love it. Thank you.

Don’t waste your money. I can verify most are fake

Especially the ones that state they do video calls. First off you call one they don’t show their face, they offered to do a “show“ with two of their “sisters“ which is an allowed on the site. Then you call another person that is available for video chat and it’s the same three girls. Jay did reverse searches and facial recognition on over 100 pictures and 95 of them came back fake. Especially in the video chat literally none of them are real. I found a few girls in and around my area but few and far between. And here is something else they you. Before you pay anything the profiles are really good. Very good looking people to meet. As soon as you pay do you notice that the profiles change and not for the better. They will not refund money. But seriously don’t waste your money it is completely, at least 95% fake. Oh one last thing, as the site says they’re not a sugar baby site yeah every girl on there is wanting that and this company just lets it happen.

My favorite dating app by a mile

I downloaded every single dating app in the App Store over a 3 month period and had a miserable time with every one of them except for Gaper. Each has its own unique annoyances - but the main thing that unites them all is that they try to force male users to pay for premium services by withholding matches. Gaper is the only one that found that seems to care about the experience of the users. I’ve only had this app for about a month and have gotten more matches on it then all the others combined. And best of all, all of my matches are with the types of women who I actually would want to have a long term relationship with. Thank you, Gaper for not trying to force users to pay to have a good experience! I have no doubt that if you continue, you’ll be the most popular dating app in the App Store! If you are looking for a real relationship, then Gaper is the only app that you need!

Do not Disable Account

Overall the app is okay. The primary page doesn’t always load initially due to quantity of profiles being loaded.The Disable function is misleading. It’s actually a DELETE PROFILE function. The only place it says it will delete your profile forever is in small print in light gray text on white background. Disable is in large print in several places on the page. It does NOT give you a “Are you sure you want to delete your profile forever “ pop up. So beware.Also after “disabling” (deleting my profile forever) after I recreated a new profile, the new profile does not see my subscription is still good, so I don’t get any of the benefits of being an upgraded account. Very poor app in that regard.

Overrun by scammers

As noted in other reviews this app is overrun by scammers. I normally don’t write many reviews but this app should be removed. I would award it 0 stars if I could. I can only assume all the 5-star reviews are for an earlier version or that the scammers posted the reviews themselves. Cons • There’s too much anonymity, and so no way to build trust. • Numbers are allowed in names so many accounts advertise phone numbers• Can’t filter by distance to limit who sees your profile, so queue of Likes will be filled up with profiles outside your geographic area. • Your list does not differentiate between matched Likes and unmatched Likes. You have to drill down to see if you matched or not. • Rejecting a profile doesn’t remove it from the global queue. You have to explicitly block the profile which is clunky and time consuming.• Profile “description” is some sort of internal social media post / craigslist ad.• You have to pay to make filtering easier, i.e. only show verified profiles. And even then that’s not a guarantee to filter out scammers. And still doesn’t prevent them from filling your list of Likes. Pros• A niche concept for a dating app and a good idea, but implementation leaves a lot to be desired. • The queue of profiles shows a thumbnail and name so you can eventually find them in the global queue. No need to pay to get a match.

Best service ever had

Gaper is absolutely the best app I had ever used. As an online dating app, Gaper focus onolder dating and it really makes it. I was really doubted before downloading the app about the user's quality and what the developer said about the app. But Gaper really did not let me down. It had several different methods to pick users and protect our privacy to keep us away from scammers. Which impressed me most is that once (and the only time) I encountered with a scammer, and I reported it to the team, and they kicked him off with in 5 minutes! I mean I'm really amazed by how they handled this issue with such a short time. And after that, I believed there is really someone working behind the screen to protect us and improve the community. Absolutely best services I ever had! You should try it by yourself.

This dating app really works for me
