Great, but.....

I love this APP, especially after a severe head injury in the military, it's giving me the ability to relearn things my mind has a difficult time remembering. It would be really great (5 star worthy) if you could have like a scrap paper area in the practice problems, it would help people like me who can't do problems in their head anymore.

Great

I've now worked with this app for the last 45 min. Quite amazing it appears with let's say two weeks of 45 min sessions I'll fair pretty decent, great app well done.. After playing with the app I found 7 wrong answers some I were not even choices. But overall i have improved. Well see what tomorrow holds.

Teeny tiny - hard to read

This review speaks only to the design and usability, not the concept or the content. I haven't gotten that far yet.The font used for the numbers is really too small, significantly smaller than the font used for the instruction and other text. Further, the number font simulates writing with a soft pencil: it's fuzzy, not crisp. Small, fuzzy numbers are hard to read. Try distinguishing a 6 from an 8, for example. Hard to do, even if you zoom in.This use of tiny, stylized type is totally unnecessary, as there is lots of white space around. The developer hasn't provided a tool to change the font size or style. The merits of the content aside, the design needs to be tweaked to make the app inviting and easy to use.

Love it!!

Im really impressed with all the mathemagics apps. They are fun and easy to do no matter where you are. I find myself learning new things at the most random times: in the car, eating dinner, on break at work......The only thing I would change is that they should give you a place to do your work until you get better at doing it in your head, especially with the equations. Other than that, it's one of the best apps I've ever bought!

A stunningly absorbing and extremely helpful app

As well as Blue Lightning Lab's other mathemagics app, this app is extremely helpful and simply converts standard mathematics into a whole new "magical" concept. Sharing an iPad with my family, however, I would love if this app had an iCloud sync with your devices, so if I downloaded this app on my iPod touch I wouldn't have to redo all of the other lessons. Please add this. Despite this possible tweak, this app has truly changed mathematics to mathemagics for me!!!

I like this app ~ and will learn from it, however

Good app...Couple things...I am not good at Math at all. Well, I used to be really good at math but a few years have gone by. I need to reteach myself the basics. I mean ~ "the basics". I am having a difficult time understanding the rules anymore. It IS me because I found out I have ADHD (I didn't know) and it seems to be getting worse as I get older. So this is a perfect app for people with this diagnosis. Another thing I would LOVE to see "within this app itself" (and excuse me if it is there and I simply could not find it) is the ability to practice with real life numbers. What I mean is, to input a person's own numbers in the equation. Maybe a person, such as myself, needs to multiply or divide a specific set of numbers together. It would help to learn and also show people how these techniques apply to a real life situation. Using it twice over ~ practice on paper and practice in a lice situation or something similar) would help to ingrain each lesson into the persons memory to stay there longer and clearer. I wanted to give a four. Hope it helps.

Fun little app

I don't really need this app, but I think it's fun to learn new math tricks. Nothing earthshaking here, but a fun useful and practical app. Yes, it did show me a few things I didn't know, and those things were more than worth the app price! Nice flexible settings for this app too. Good job.

A true Sanity & lifesaver!!

THANK YOU!!! I just spend several hours today trying to understand 2 of the types of problems that is on this app!!! Now I can actually Get past the frustration and actually Start to LEARN the more advanced stuff!!! 😂 😍 you guys are AWESOME!

GREAT !!!

I just learned how to multiply binomials and last week I didn't what a binomial actually was. Walked me through steps and then followed a lengthly practice. By the time I was done knew it backward and forward! Easy to follow. Compensates for fluency or non fluency along the way. Recommend to anyone new to algebra or reviewing. Never leaves you hanging.
