Fun but needs more updates!

Mars Mars is very fun and addictive! The app has its flaws but it’s still good. I wish there was more characters. Also it would be cool to make an update where you can go to different planets and maybe have more obstacles along the way. I’m already on platform 500 and it never had too big challenges. It would be cool if some kind of space alien comes and you have to dodge them? Maybe more of a challenge would be nice. Its kind of like Crossy Road! But still needs a lot more updates. I still would recommend this app if you’re very bored! Just needs some more things to make it more interesting? Like space snakes coming to attack you so you have to dodge it would be more of a fun thing. Also in Crossy Road you can connect WIFI and race together! I wish there was something like that in the game. I really have fun with this game it just needs a few updates and it could be more of an official game!

Fun and relaxing

In the vast desert of IAP-based money grabs, this game stands out as a beacon of hope. Fun little time waster that keeps things interesting by letting you collect tokens unlock new characters, many of which come with customized graphics and sound effects (think Crossy Road). You can unlock characters via 99 cent IAP, or just by being patient and collecting tokens during regular gameplay. Amazingly, even the ads are completely optional (but watching an ad rewards you with extra tokens, or extending your streak). I really hope this game will be successful, as it show that a lot of work went into it despite the simple gameplay. Two thumbs up!

Such a time killer! But it would be nice to have some change...

I love playing this game whenever I am bored and have nothing to do because it is so fun and the different characters are so interesting and entertaining. When I got this, I thought that it would be like every other game where you have to buy the different characters, especially when it asked if I wanted to buy one of them. Then I got that same character later on and I was really happy because I had so much variety for free! I do wish that there was a little more of a storyline, which is why I gave it four stars. It is really fun, don’t get me wrong, but it would be even more fun with the occasional change. It could be anything, like an alien, or a different planet that you can get with the coins you collect.

Mars: Mars

Mars: Mars is a great platformer that is fun while also easy to master. This game shows great achievements and challenges that seem to make most smile when the achievement call has appeared on screen. I would suggest that instead of the environment changing around you as you select different characters maybe you could customize different platforms, characters, and background septetly. I think it would add a great asspect to the game. I also think thatdifferent leader bordes could be assigned, for example, “least fuel used in one jump” I think it could add a wholesome competition while still keeping the asspect to the game simple. One last thing, I believe it would be a lot better if you could unlock frames for your selfies because while the selfies are fun, they can get a bit plane. I hope you consider my suggestions. And Mars: Mars is a great joy to my perspective (:

Two thumb awesomeness

This is a simple but brilliant game in which you must guide your explorer to gentle landings in a left to right journey across the Martian landscape. Each character that you unlock changes the art and sound effects of the world, often in hilarious ways. You can purchase individual characters but this is largely unnecessary as the rate at which you acquire currency allows you to unlock several in a couple days of occasional play. I bought Stephen Hawking just to thank the developer for how much I’ve enjoyed the game. Some of the characters are more brilliant than others, but there is more than enough here to warrant several hours of play.

Holds lots of Potential

I really like this game so far. It’s interesting and different and I like the idea. The graphics are good, the mechanics are simple, it’s fairly easy to play, and addicting (in a good way). But after jumping to 500 platforms... it’s gotten... a little dull. I feel like more could be added to keep the player entertained. While I enjoy the occasional selfie with the landscapes and collecting new people, it’s gotten a little repetitive. I think the game could become much more interesting if there was a story line added to it- like an mysterious adventure, something that makes the player want to get through the next 20 platforms. I feel like this game has a lot of potential, and it is very fun just the way it is- it just gets a little dull between the special landscapes and stuff.

Fun gravity game. Characters abilities change, adictive

At first I found the gravity style space game repedative. The more I played it got very addictive. Nice that the characters were changeable as you progressed or you could keep the one you were on of course to change would cost $.99. Not bad but each change cost $.99. Been playing for a couple of days and like it for a time waster. Points are gained but Inhave not seen any purpose the points serve other than showing progression. Maybe I have not ventured in the game far enough yet. It would be nice to have more goals of winning something. But, it is fun. Not sure how many $.99 I will spend if that is the only way to get new characters.

Awesome game but here’s how you could improve in my eyes

I love the idea of this game and I love the art style. The problem I see is how it can eventually become boring after a while. An idea I had to help this was that instead of making a world that’s semi static and the only way to change is changing characters, how about you make a world and the environment changes over time. I mean one of the greatest selling points of this game is the amazing art style, so how about you capitalize on that. I feel like tried to implement this idea somewhat with adding different characters with there own unique world, but after a while that becomes kinda boring too. It’s good to have a game where your waiting for something and I feel like putting the effort to go across 1000 platforms to get the coolest world is a good idea.

Best game ever!

I’m not a huge gamer outside of racing/sim stuff, but this looked interesting so I gave it a try. What a pleasant surprise! Most fun I’ve had playing a game in a long time, and you don’t need to spend a dime, which I think is a bit unfortunate for the developer. They should really charge at least a few bucks for it. It’s so addicting, you just play it for hours on end earning stars and new characters without having to spend any money. And just when it starts to become easy and second nature you earn the Mars rocket vehicle which is a whole new challenge, requiring a new skill set. I can’t recommend this game enough, whatever your age, gaming skill level, or likes/dislikes. I can guarantee you’ll enjoy it. Well done with this one guys!

Awesome for what it is!

This little game is seriously addicting. I’ve played countless platform hopper games (whatever you want to call them) that are all just exactly the same, usually simple and boring. Mars however has so much character. The style is attractive, the characters you can get are fun, and they seem like someone actually put some work and creativity into them! And the background/ambiance changes that come with each character add that much more fun to the game. I also love how this isn’t one of those bare-bones games that forces you to watch 30 second ads every time you fail, clearly made just to generate ad revenue. Being given a choice to watch ads is nice. My only suggestion is variety. There’s already a lot of variety in terms of characters and such, but I find myself wanting something else to happen during gameplay. Maybe different modes? Modes with enemies or time limit type stuff? Anyways, awesome little gem! Keep developing it!
