Mahjong Solitaire

Have tried many different Mahjong games, all had flaws that drove me to uninstall! But this game is perfect. Tiles are large enough to be seen easily. Plenty of layouts, and lots of backgrounds and tile sets to choose from if you want. The game clock gives a reasonable amount of time to complete a board, even if you’re not trying hard to beat the clock. If you want a hint or just want to redo the layout, you can. Best of all, it plays on IOS 11 seamlessly, and no lag time. This is the best Mahjong I have ever used. Good stuff!

My New fave mahjong!

I love this game! Straight forward play with no trails and in game games. Only personal goals here. Many tile sets and backgrounds are available. The best thing about this game is that there is nothing you have to buy to be able to play!! The only thing you can buy here is more packs of boards and buying one removes ads. I don't even mind ads in this game because they are tiny at the bottom of the screen and every few games, you get a full screen one and that's it!

the other best app in the App Store

I played a lot of mahjong games over the years before I found the two from Kristanix -- and now I've pretty much stopped playing anything else. These games are so beautiful, so relaxing, and so addictive that I've spent eight months solving the 3300 boards they offer (plus the new daily games!), and I may just start all over again. And the customizability is nearly endless. While the only noticeable difference is that Titan is in portrait mode and Epic is in landscape -- so it's just a matter of tilting the iPad sideways to play one or the other -- I've managed to solve all 1650 boards available in Titan, but only 1649 in Epic. There's one in *this* app (currently #1186, though they change the numbering as they add boards) that I'm convinced is unsolvable. :} Get these, and then pay for the upgrades. They're the best free apps I've ever played, but it's worth throwing a few bucks at the developers for such spectacularly well-designed games. (And no, I don't know any of the developers. I'm just a very happy player.)

Mahjong

I play A LOT of games on my Apple phone. This is one of the better games because they’re not constantly harassing you to buy coins, tokens or something in order to pass the puzzle and get to the next one. For that I would give them ***** stars. Why I marked them down is if you don’t get all 3 stars in each puzzle, you get a pop up advertisement for another game. It gets very irritating. When I sit down to play the game, I want to go through the different puzzles without having to wait 30 seconds or more. Would be nice if you could pay a small amount and skip the ads. I would give them ***** stars because they do give you stars for getting through the puzzles and only costs you a single star to get a re-shuffle. I would have given the game 4-1/2 stars if possible. All in all, this is a great game. The backgrounds you can change for free are beautiful. You can also change the cards to make it more difficult or easy for younger children. It’s worth the irritating pop up games at the end of each puzzle because it doesn’t rip you off

Fantabulous Game!

This has been my favorite version of Mahjong for many years. I have loaded it onto each electronic device I've gotten over the years. I play each board once, then go back and replay any that I haven't achieved three stars on until I have three stars on every board. It's very satisfying to see all those stars. I love the variety of boards. I change the background and tiles to suit whatever my mood is. I'm hoping Kristanix will eventually have a set of tiles and backgrounds for each of the major holidays and the four seasons. If you haven't yet tried this version I wholeheartedly recommend it to you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have 😁

Fun, Fun, Fun!

Just started playing this super fun game after the one I had been playing for years quit working ( game no longer playable after IOS 11 update). Thought I would not find one I liked as much...boy was I wrong! In fact, I downloaded this game and another like it to try them both out. I will be deleting the other...no need to take up the space on my iPad when I love this one so much. The boards are pretty easy right now since I’m just starting, but I’m looking forward to the bigger and much more challenging ones I see coming down the Mahjong road 😀

Very relaxing and enjoyable app

I’ve only had this app for a few weeks but I have to say that this is more than just relaxing . The background are breathtaking and I love the ability to choose between so many types of tiles, backgrounds and the sheer number of types of layouts is very impressive and definitely adds to the challenge & charm of this game.I’m not in the habit of recommending games & apps but this is where I have decided to make an exception!I Highly recommend this game to all who enjoy Mahjong and are tired 💤 of the same “olé fashion game & it’s typical layouts. This is by far the Best app to get your Mahjong on!

Decent replacement for Mahjongg Artifacts

I needed a replacement for Mahjongg Artifacts, so I decided to try this game. So far I like it. I was looking for something that would be relaxing and not a lot of craziness. I like the backgrounds. The tiles will take some getting used to after the ones I used in the other game, but I remember these tiles from when my mom and her friends used to play Mahjongg when I was a kid, so it’s kind of cool. I still haven’t figured out all the aspects of the game, but that’s ok, I need to play it longer. Overall, if you’re looking for a less crazy, more relaxing, and mind challenging game, this is a good one to get. It’s free, but I bought an upgrade because I HATE ads! Though the ads don’t appear during the game, only during the scoring.

Great Game

Taking me months to get through this game, I hope you’ll add more levels, I also would like to be able customize board backgrounds with my own photos vs the add-on ones already pre-made for the game. This one definitely keeps me busy for hours. The only frustrating thing about this game is the size of the board that tends to overlap the option controls screen or i am taken back to the board screen because I clicked on a tile piece that under the arrow button that takes me back to the main screen, if you can fix the screen size or allow players to customize the screen for a more friendly user touch, this would be a good improvement.

So-o-o-o much better

I’m not sure if I’ve ever written a positive review of a game only a few hours after downloading, but I am so very impressed with this one, I will rate this version early. So why five stars? 1) Choice of tile sets. I’m kind of old school, liking the those with traditional HanZi (汉字) characters over burgers and fries, but that’s my taste. It doesn’t have to be yours. Still, I like that this game has an alternative to the simple four-color ones. 2) The app I used before jumped way too soon into large multi-layered layouts could never have existed in the real world unless some of the tiles were weirdly-weighted. The lower levels in this game 3) If I didn’t want to retry the exact same tiles in the exact same places, I wouldn’t have hit the *Restart* button. My old app must have been a product of lazy programming or poor memory usage or who knows. 4) I can turn off the music, the gameplay sounds, the haptics and I can turn off the fancy animations, which are cute, but they bothered me after a few minutes.
