Still New Here

I've only just recently begun testing this app with a temp project logo, but it's been thoroughly enjoyable, thus far. The options we're given to work with seem abundant -if not virtually endless, particularly given that it's "merely" a mobile app. The program, as a whole, feels fairly intuitive; and, in my opinion, there's not a lot of a learning curve required. And, as of the time of this review, I've experienced zero lag ...even with several layers applied.My only real question or concern now is whether or not the quality of the eventual finished product(s) will withstand the test and meet with expected professional/business standards, in the end. I'll try to remember to make it back here and apply that final star 1) after I've had more time with this program and 2) after I've deemed the quality of our completed logos worthy. Even in the meantime, however, I would still readily recommend this app to others. Great Job, Developers!

It’s pretty great

I have no artistic ability and yet I feel like I could charge people for the logos I’ve created on this app. If art isn’t your thing and you don’t want to pay someone to make a logo for you, try this out. With a little patience you can create something special!Update: Such a great program. I'm finding I can make really professional and creative logos. I can't draw, or paint, or do anything artistic by hand. I no longer doubt my creativity though. While there are other great editors I use, when I comes to logos i always start here. Instalogo is amazing.The amount of font styles and the ability to manipulate the look of letters/words is remarkable.

Real Bargain for small start-ups

Great app, easy to use. Some things could be more customizable (like borders and fill options). This is easy to overlook considering this app is a real bargain if you’re just starting out with a small project or business. One thing I can’t overlook, is the fact that it is difficult to select items when they are layered over one another. Sometimes I can’t move them either, not even to change the order in which objects are layered (front to back). It makes things tricky and time consuming, you can kind of get around it if you zoom in on whatever you are working on. Hope this problem is addressed because other than that, it’s a nice app.

Awesome

2020 Update: I have the pro version right now, and I’m loving it. I making books for each one of my kids and grandkids using this app. I am really enjoying it! I'm beta testing the updated version which will be coming out soon. I thought it was great before the update, but it is so much more user-friendly now. Pictures are categorized, more fonts, and extremely well organized and user-friendly. I'm just loving it! Continue to enjoy this app Have used for over a year now, excellent app 2021...Definitely worth the money ❤️

Really enjoying IstaLogo

Okay, so let’s just start with a disclaimer: I am not at all creative, nor do I have much in the way of computer skills. I can fumble my way around, but I’ve been out of an office setting for over 5 years now, so I’m a bit behind the times. With that in mind, in the past hour or so, I’ve made myself two (very pretty, if I don’t say so myself) logos for my business. Yes, it’s probably taken me longer than the average Joe, but that’s because I’m fumbling around a bit. For the most part, the app is really quite intuitive. The demos were helpful, as well. The templates are great, a really nice variety. More than enough fonts, and if you don’t like what you see, it’s easy enough to upload your own. And fiddle with color to your heart’s content. There’s no way you won’t come out with something professional looking and that you aren’t proud to use. Great app.

I love this app!

I originally downloaded this app when I was in college for making posters and flyers for my school’s nutrition club events. Lately I’ve been using it for invitations and parties for family and friends’ events. You have overlay several individual components (pictures, text, on app images, etc.) and do the most fine tune critiquing to their orientation and display. It’s unbelievable how precise you can make your creations! I do however come across a problem when overlaying too many items. My app just crashed and currently isn’t even opening as I have that project open and don’t want to lose my other projects so kinda of scared to delete the app. I suppose the app may just need to increase its storage space? Also if I could recommend any other suggestions would be the option to see the layers of inputted items. The app does allow you to move items forward and back so you may lay text over images and such but a visual format of where these are in relation to each other could be more helpful. Honestly other than these two things, this app is unbeatable. I’ve been searching and searching for a iPhone all similar and haven’t found one yet! Best purchase I’ve ever made on any iPhone application

Nice logomaker!

I'm having a lot of fun with it so far! My only real complaint is that drawing tools are very limited, although there is a decent range of premade logos available. I would love to see more drawing tools implemented in the future. Otherwise, it's totally worth the money! Edit as of March 2019: Another small issue is that there is no way to kern or individually space the lettering. This would help the logos look more professional since a lot of the fonts are unevenly spaced.Edit (2021): Changed my rating to 5 stars! Still lacks a way to kern or spacing the lettering, but the app has been upgraded and improved greatly! Now includes way more options compared to previously. Overall, an excellent app!

5 year USER... PLEASE READ

I’ve used InstaLogo going on 5 years now! I highly recommend a STAR for each year! They just continue to get better & better!!! This year I punched it for life.... That ALONE... has already paid for itself! I never noticed any bugs but when they update, they continue to OFFER NEW TOOLS... They would offer this, even before I purchased the lifetime subscription! Its all about enhancing your business, not taking away tools & charging EXTRA! Im not paid, by InstaLogo to write this review. (Lifetime subscription remember). Great to Phenomenal

This was a paid app and I was impressed with it before the change in interface. After logging in after about a month or so of not using it, I noticed a major change in the interface and my jaw literally dropped. My only complaint is that some of the new features, even though I paid once for the app, I still must buy in order to use. I think if you bought the app, then upgrades should come along with the deal. Charge the new people, not the ones who helped you get to where you are.
