You had one job….
One job, One post to post. The first one I scheduled with Later. It didn’t post. I’m just getting started but work two jobs while trying to start a business. I don’t have time to post when I’d like to/need to. I read some good things about Later and thought I’d give it a go. My post never posted. I went in to Later to see what happened and got an error “Oops, something went wrong. Post now?” No indication of WHAT went wrong. No email or text around the time it was scheduled to post saying - hey, this didn’t work, so I could figure out what to do. Nothing. Pure crap. If I could get this to work and see that it was worth it, I might have actually upgraded and paid, but maybe not. Don’t waste your time.
I use this app everyday and I love it!
Always auto posts on time and I love the scheduling view where I can see what the posts look like. I’ve read a few bad reviews here and are not sure what they are talking about. I way prefer later as opposed to Planoly or anything else!
Same functions with Free FB Creator Studio
I wanted to love this app but you cannot manage Reels on desktop. Which means, using both the mobile app and desktop in order to access full functions and scheduling posts for both Reels and still images in the feed. The app also crashed on my iPhone pro 12, after scheduling a couple Reels. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app and it still won’t work. Customer service takes over a day to respond. So…overall, for the scheduling functions I want to use it for, FB’s free Creator Studio is actually easier to use.I did not try the linkin bio function.
Is Customer support nonexistant??
Hi, I have a billing issue and there doesn’t seem to be any place to contact the support. The limitations of the chat bot should be strongly considered, and the feature should discontinued. We are all trying to do work, not waste our time- and not def presents itself as such. Also having all your help links take me to the “helpful topics” is really not helpful at all. I just upgraded my plan, and feel like a total fool for doing so, as I assumed you’d at least have obvious “email us” button.
I like the idea
I like the service this provides especially as a small business, but it is very bare bones when you don’t upgrade. It blocks you from doing anything relevant to Instagram anymore (carousel, reels) without the upgrade, which is fine, but when it tells you to upgrade it doesn’t give a link to follow in order to do so, and I can’t seem to find any upgrade option within the app. Not very intuitive anymore now that Instagram has continued to evolve.
Buggy From the START
I thought this would be a great app to use as it came highly recommended but it keeps disconnecting from my profiles on its own when I’m loading and scheduling content on the website. The the post reminder in the app just completely stopped working. I’m logged in but none of the posts are showing. I planned all my REELS to reminder in order to simple the audio I want in the app.Feeling like this was a time and energy. Super frustrated and should’ve just stuck with PlanolyI’ve only been using it for 2 days
Not as good as it once was…
I used to be a big fan of the app and paid for a subscription for awhile. I’ve not been as active on IG, but I recently tried to make a post and realized that my PAID PLAN had been phase out and I didn’t have access to auto publish. Felt pretty scammy that had been paying for something that no longer offered the one service I was looking for.I’m not willing to upgrade from $8 to $15 just to auto publish. I also had to jump through a few hoops to cancel. The pages like “look at your benefits! Are you sure?” and it was required that I answer a question about how I would be managing my social media now that I’m no longer paying.After all of this, I’m definitely on the lookout for something new.
Instagram Auto-post Doesn’t Work
Not sure if it’s on their end of Facebook’s end, but I use the auto-posting for Instagram everyday and 90% of the time it doesn’t work. It’s videos that I’m posting each morning, each one is under 60sec. It screws up the entire feed so that I have delete posts and manually post the ones Later was supposed to. Pretty frustrating. I don’t mind if it’s Facebook’s fault, but don’t promise services you can’t deliver on.
App Crashing
So I just did my first post on this app yesterday. I was really upset to see that some of my photos got resized and ended up blurry. In the app, I followed all the guidelines it suggested to fix the errors. My account keeps disconnecting and now I got too many likes on a post to suddenly delete it because the pics aren’t the best quality. The online website looks dope. I hope this can be fixed soon. I will try posting again this week! Tried posting this week and things went better my only issue is that I have to keep logging into my account. It keeps saying “connection expired”.I keep having to reconnect my account?!?! Why does that keep happening?
Very useful but would like to see upgrades
Very good overall, and I think for content creators Later is a legitimately solid tool and good value. However - Would really like to see some improvements. Video is currently capped at 1 minute, even though Instagram changed IGTV (basically dropped it). Multi-photo posts don’t let you auto-publish, a couple other issues would like to see fixed by the Tech team. Good app overall though with syncing to desktop.
