Ladderhead: An oddly amazing game

If you’re not interested in my life story I would skip to Part 2 🤣 Part 1: Discovery For as long as I can remember, finding a good mobile game has always been a struggle, with so many companies following the same pattern of boring RPG’s (no offense just not my thing) and games that require you to pay tons of money just to get ahead, it just felt lazy; On that rare occasion when you’re able to find a decent game, it usually has little popularity because of the overshadowing of the bigger (and not always better) games. That is definitely the case with this game. I came to the point where I was literally searching up “good games on the AppStore” on YouTube; I’m very glad I did this though, because while in the process of rooting through the super expensive sub-par games, I discovered this hidden gem LADDERHEAD. I was very interested in the concept so I pulled out the old piggy bank so to speak… Part 2: Gameplay Of course I was a little skeptical as there’s always the risk of an old game with little to no updates and glitches, but this game quickly proved to be different from the others. The game mechanic of having to perform a certain action before death then using it for advancement in the game is unique and makes this game even better. I love how the puzzles can be adjusted to different levels of difficulty by not using swipes or turning them off completely, it’s your choice! This game is an example which I hope more creators will follow in when making their games. Conclusion: The Stars Now you may be wondering, well if you’re ranting and raving about how good it is, why rate it just 4 stars? As much as I love this game and it’s unique presentation of it’s features, I’m interested in keeping it realistic, every game has something that can be improved about it because no game is perfect, but this one can sure cut it close!!
