This is a perfect game!

Everything about bringing this game to mobile is amazing. But it. Don’t even think about it. Can I send tips to you as well? I have two requests though!1) Prevent screen jumping when numbers gain/lose digits. Switching to 3 decimal point precision works better, but it’s still a frustrating issue that has caused me to mistap things with grave consequences :/2) This game would benefit so much from an optimized layout on the notched iPhones! I’m on the XS and would love love to see more info on the screen.

Perfect Game, Bad Creator and Politics

I love idle games like this! I enjoyed the simple design that hides a great degree of choice and customization to optimize your society. It was shaping up to be one of my favorite mobile games. The part that warranted this one star in my mind was with the policy tab. In it you can use various societal policies to influence the growth of your cats. At first this was cool, until you unlocked more complex policies. The best policies number-wise were in reality monstrous. The fascist policy gives great optimization with almost no drawbacks, but the socialism policy costs a great deal of resources and literally does nothing(it even says it in the purchase description). This seems to be the creators attempt at a joke but it ignores the real world effects fascist governments have had. Also the only hostile species you interact with are the zebras which feels like a racist dig at Africa. I wanted to love this game but the problematic views built into the design have left a bad taste in me mouth.

Great game, but buggy

I’ve played this game years ago on PC and loved it, but once I got to concrete huts I stopped playing. I bought it on mobile thinking i’d replay and it’d be easier to come back often on my phone. It’s the same great game, and I love the portability, but the UI is mad buggy. The screen jumps when resources per second change, and logging into cloud saves made it so that every time I open the app it’s like a new game, I have to log in and load my save, and sometimes i’m missing production time or things i built. It blows to wait an hour to cap my resources and when I start the game it’s right where I left it like no time had passed, or it didn't save the building I spent a ton of stuff on. Other than the app being bad, 5/5 game

Lengthy and deep for an incremental game

You won’t be done with KG in a matter of days like some idle games. It has a great mix of logging on once in a while to tap a few progress bars and being able to sit down, plan, and finish research on something more in depth by actively playing the game. It’s less brainless than just tapping upgrades when they’re available and I really like that. I haven’t been this excited about an idle game since the Candy Box and Cookie Clicker days.

Great incremental game!

If you love a minimalist approach to what cookie clicker was, and add many resources, you get Kittens Game. One of the best, if not the best game of its kind I’ve played on the App Store.I bought it off a whim and I don’t regret it. 1.99$ makes up for whatever ads or cash store that would have been implemented by a long shot. Most games have an ad every minute or less and light also have a store, while with this game you get a game. No in app purchases, no annoying ads. Just a plain and simple game that you can enjoy. The only reason I can see this app not getting a 5 star review from all users would be because of the iPhone X support not being available yet the game is still purchase-able. So, if you have an X, make sure to see if the game has updated its compatibility for you.I don’t want to spoil anything in this review, so take it from me. If you think you’d be interested in this game so far, stop thinking. You will be.

First Idle Game

It’s okay I guess. I’ve never played an idle game before. At first, getting alerted when something was ready was fun and exciting. Now it just seems boring. That’s not the game’s fault though — and if you like idle clickers, this is clearly the queen. There’s a lot to unlock, it seems. The descriptions of each upgrade makes me smile too. Very clever. I don’t mind spending the $2.But if you want something similar to A Dark Room, this isn’t it. If you want something with a fair bit of micromanaging, this isn’t it. If you want something where you’re actually doing something, this isn’t it. Some people say this has a little more to do than most idle games. It doesn’t have much to do, though. After about an hour you have to wait for stuff to automatically get researched and whatnot. You don’t get to do anything.I still like it. It’s just not my favorite game. And I’ll still play something I paid for. I haven’t found any bugs either, so in that department, it’s a clear five stars. Who knows, maybe I’ll change my mind after a few more hours. I’ve barely touched the surface it seems.

Unbelievably good

I would give this game 6 stars if I could. I’m blown away by the depth of this game. It starts off simply enough but you just keep unlocking more and more things that keep the game fresh and intriguing. It’s got a ton of depth and really is much more strategic than any other idle game I’ve ever played. It puts every other idle game to shame, really.I’ve been playing this for weeks now, and have only reset once just to see what bonus I might get. The depth here is astounding and I will probably been playing it for weeks and months to come.

Makes Cookie Clicker Feel Like a One-Trick Pony

I have been playing this game for the last couple of weeks in the background, and it's time for me to admit it—I am seriously hooked! This game has some serious depth to it. Like Cookie Clicker, but with actual strategy elements. And unlike most clicker games, you slowly unlock new game elements through multiple playthroughs. The game never hits that point in most clicker offshoots where your progression goes from sluggish to laughably, exponentially fast. I think that aspect makes the progression feel more even, and gives the game staying power.I much prefer the iPad app over the browser game, since I can take it on the go and have kind of a wimpy computer that gets sluggish when I keep it running constantly. The iPad app is attractive and has worked flawlessly for me.If you read up on the game online, you'll quickly find people who have been playing regularly for several years. The value I've gotten out of this game so far is ridiculous. Absolutely buy it right now!

Amazing with a teeny problem.

I love this game! So much so that I got the app and I play on my school computer at school with free time and my laptop at home. It’s a great idler for a lot of fun development. Be wary, this game does take a while to develop. The gameplay is VERY SLOW, but it makes every accomplishment AWESOME! The only problem I have seen (thus far) is that, once you get more buildings, your “Refine Catnip” and “Harvest Catnip” button disappear. I can’t seem to put them back. To those who know, get the workshop asap so you can avoid this mistake. Otherwise, I love this game!

Alright

Shrek: "Once upon a time, there was a lovely princess. But she had an enchantment upon her of a fearful sort, which could only be broken by love's first kiss. She was locked away in a castle, guarded by a terrible fire-breathing dragon. Many brave knights had attempted to free her from the dreadful prison, but none prevailed. She waited in the dragon's keep, in the highest room of the tallest tower, for her true love and true love's first kiss." [Laughing] Like that's ever gonna happen.
