IMPRESSIVE
This app is a powerful design tool and a fun toy at the same time. Being able to create perfect repeat patterns in seconds is both useful and entertaining. This program gives you the power to edit each stroke after you've made it, so you're never stuck with a stroke you're unhappy with. I am very impressed with how easy it is to make beautiful patterns with this app. RECOMMENDED for artists and doodlers alike.
The best symmetry drawing app for technical drawing
I’ve been looking for a symmetry drawing application like this for a long time. The best feature is the edit mode, where you can adjust your lines like standard bezier curves from your favorite desktop vector software. This allows you to create highly technical, purposeful patterns that you can actually integrate into art and design projects. I would happily pay for this app for that feature alone.
Love it, but have a feature request
This app is awesome, fun and opens up lots of creative possibilities. I just wish it had one extra feature: it would be so useful to have an export as svg option. It seems that should be possible since the images are stored as point & vector data. Anyway, I love the app!
Great!
This is the only free app I’ve found that gives me the option to make a range of repeating patterns. It’s really cool! I only have a few recommendations: 1) Add an eraser tool to erase parts of lines2) Different kinds of brushesOverall, I definitely recommend this app.
Wow they ruined this app
This app used to be amazing !! I wasn’t on iPhone for about six months and when I came back to it I downloaded this app and I am DEVASTATED !!! why did they change it ? it was PERFECT I would spend hours on this app it was so relaxing . It was intuitive. It was amazing. And now it is terrible . U draw a line with a color and it doesn’t change the fill in color . WHY WHY DO THAT IT IS SO DUMB . I hate you for changing the app.
Thoughtful and cool app
Mesmerizing and fun, and the interface is super easy to use. My one request is a basic block repeat option. Even though I know that wouldn't be kaliedoscopic, I don't know of another app this good to do that with. Either way thank you for making this!
Perfect for patterns and mandalas
I have been using this program for years to make mandalas, and symmetrical tile patterns for creating coloring pages and graphic textiles. I love that the developer continues to support this app and the new features and user interface are awesome. This app is easy to use/learn, it’s been amazingly stable, and it allows you to draw (or edit) artistic creations beyond your “paper and pencil” skill level. It’s also fun to use just to chill and relax.

I’ve wanted a drawing program like this my whole life, and finally found it. It’s easy to use, has tons of well-designed features, and it’s even free!?! It works great on my iPad, I bet it’s even better on the fancy iPad with the stylus. Amazing job by the dev...I’ll be using this one a lot!
This is one of those must have apps
Completely ad free, IAP free. This has the feel of one of those awesome open source drawing projects, like Alchemy, that are so rare on iOS. I'm actually addicted to using this app lately; the possibilities are endless, and I can tell that with practice I will be able to make some truly amazing work. I also love how the UI is feels completely native: no fancy switches in colors that clash with the system colors, just regular blue and green elements like you'd see in any system app.I've still got so many suggestions for the dev, I'll be sending an email shortly.

This is far and away the most fun and fascinating app I’ve ever had. There are plenty of apps out there to spend leisure time on or to simply dive into some mind-numbing activity when you want to, but this one engages your artistic and creative side without you having to have artistic training or skills.Can’t draw a straight line? So much the better!I love the versatility! If I like the first design that emerges, I will duplicate it (sometimes several times) before continuing so after I finish the current one, I can go back and go in a different direction with the next one.One of the best features is that you can change the drawing completely simply by changing the symmetry. And I love that you can expand it up to add tiny details like dots. You will need go wrong with this app!
