Cool or not cool

This game has so many great things about it for stuff I love that every season the creators make a new version to that holiday and I love how they added candy to the lines to collect mower parts that’s really creative but I would like to have a suggestion you should make flowers to collect and put them in our book because if you could that would be great because flowers are one of my favorite plants and if you could incorporate flowers or like a flower book or like a flower version that would be awesome but the downside is that in the common chess you should try and make things that generate based on what you’ve already got so you don’t get doubles that often and try to randomize the animals more because I’ve gotten six rares in the same yard which is kind of weird and sometimes a little annoying because I never get any other animals and I’ve been playing this game for about three months now and I have only found one bird which is the common pigeon and I haven’t found any other bird so maybe you could add some more birds and yeah

THE MOST ADDICTING GAME EVER

This game is so addicting and fun to play that I literally can not stop!! I might have a problem because when my phone is about to die I rush to the nearest charger and immediately plug it in. If it dies on the way I cry 😭😭 because I’m sent back to my very real and very sad reality. What do I do!?!! I haven’t been to work in years. What if my boss fired me!! I can’t live with that reality… I can’t live with any reality if I does not consist of literally just mowing. I’m even sad right now because I am not playing this game and I learned that there is no mowing emoji. 🔪🏡 THAT is the closest thing to mowing… cutting grass… well with emojis. ✂️⛳️ this could work as well or 💇🏠… that is a stretch but anyway this game is super polished! It is so polished that when I play the game sometimes I see myself or my soul… Now that I think about it… maybe mowing is my soul… maybe mowing is the answer to everything. MAYBE MOWING IS THE ANSWER TO LIFE AND EVERY SINGLE QUESTION THAT HAS NO ANSWER AND MAYBE EVEN ONES WE THOUGHT WE KNEW!! Maybe… or life is just a matrix and this game is not real or maybe I’m not real or any thing… Did we really go to the moon?… wait this is a review… anyway the game is good 👍🏼 and you will love it… trust me I’m the most normal person. 🫠

Chilled Out and Zen

It makes me want to get out my John Deere mower and cruise around the yard. I wish there was a perk included when removing ads that also reduced Tool Chest opening time, it’s pretty long. At the very least, we should be allowed to see what chest we will be getting so we can decide whether to keep the new chest or not. It takes away some of the zen when you keep getting the message that you don’t have an available slot. Gem acquisition is pretty slow, though existent! It would cost a fortune to open every chest at the end of each street, and I would like to save a slot just for Lightning Chests so I don’t miss them. 5* if we can get a preview of the chest we don’t have room for so we can decide which one to keep. For example, I’d be much more inclined to spend more money if I have all Rare and Legendary Tool Boxes staring at me rather than regular chests that take 3 hours open. Let us delete chests to make room for more desirable chests. I love this game and want to do more than play in short bursts! Please work on the Tool Chest system and make it more streamlined to match the total Zen of the rest of the game. Awesome game for chilling out!

Just a couple things

I enjoy this game and I think the premise is great. The style is cute, and it fulfills the promise of satisfaction. I think it would be fun to add a feature where you can collect items like flower seeds and fence blueprints to cultivate a property that you own, maybe even mow your own lawn once a day to get items. There are just a few things that irritate me: 1) The mute button on the ads does not work until the skip button appears, meaning I have to listen to the first 3-5 seconds of every ad. 2) The animation meant to highlight the last few blades of grass you may have missed is rough on the eyes, and largely unnecessary. I wish it was optional, or at least delayed another couple of seconds. 3) The birds move so quickly that I often miss them, and my mowing path goes awry as a result. It's distracting, instead of interesting. 4) This one doesn't bother me as much, but the limit on toolboxes discourages me from continuing to play, and then I forget to come back for days at a time. A toolbox that takes 24 hours to unlock doesn't seem like a great business model, especially since the epic parts don't offer much difference from any others. Faster, cheaper toolboxes would be much more motivating, and generate momentum for both gameplay and gem-spending.

I love this game!

I’ve never actually written a game review before, but this one deserves it. It’s a super relaxing game, you absolutely can’t mess up. There’s no rush on time, no boss levels, absolutely nothing that brings stress. To the contrary, it has cute little critters to find and actually provides a little biography of each one which I love. It would be awesome if they did this with flowers (hint, hint). What convinced me to write this review is the latest summer boxes they have added. I love the designs to match the season (I just unlocked the hibiscus design for the mower, which was my Mom’s favorite flower 🥺) I finished the challenges months ago and I still can’t stop playing this game. Honestly, the only complaint I can think of is the art used to be interesting people or places and now it’s just a frisbee or a sandcastle. I get that it’s in keeping with the seasonal theme but…meh. Anyway, I highly recommend this game. It has ads after a couple of yards, but you can skip within seconds. It’s not an issue at all for me. 👍🏼💛

Entertaining

I am really enjoying this game. With the new updates it is easier to accumulate jewels so you can open more boxes or even buy cool hats. The ball fields are awesome and fun to mow. And discovering new cats also makes it interesting. Only a few thingsI would like to see with the new update. First is maybe replacing the animals that we’ve already discovered with new animals. I don’t know about anyone else but I am sick and tired of constantly getting the puffin and Australian Magpie showing up on my screen they are just the two most annoying sounding birds and I have literally gotten them 9 times in a row when I have mowed. I would like to see maybe dogs become discoverable or even insects. 2nd thing is when we are able to hit the balls into the basket or goals we should be rewarded with gems make the game a little more fun and rewarding. 3rd. Maybe add seasons like winter fall we can use the mower to chop up pile of leaves and to push snow around. 4th keep changing the parts maybe make it so the mower can light up or that you can customize the wheels with cool rims. Keep up the goodWork it is a fun game to play.

Simple, charming, engaging

This is a great game! I have been playing daily for several weeks now. Very simple and not overwhelming, calming and strangely fun despite how simple it is, artwork is cute and I like the animal collections, the totals of lawns and streets mowed and even blades of grass cut! No energy system so you can mow as much as you want. Only “consequence” is that you have room for only four toolboxes so if you continue to mow after those slots are filled you will not collect any more toolboxes until space opens up after opening one. Not a big deal IMO. I did pay to remove ads because it is such a nicely designed game but if you don’t want to pay anything you just have to go through an ad for every couple lawns mowed—again, no big deal. Plenty of ways to earn gems without paying so this is a game you can play for free and have a lot of fun and make all the progress you want. The customizations are very cute, I just wish we could customize our character’s face more (like choose everything from hair color and style, eye color, skin color) instead of having all of that predetermined and also their clothing, but even if that isn’t a thing there is a lot you can do with the mower and the hats. Oh and I really wish you could wear a hat and glasses at the same time!

Just one suggestion

I absolutely love this game. I’ve played it every day for the past 70 days (since I first downloaded it) and have not gotten sick of it. With all of the stress that the pandemic has brought, I look forward to playing this every evening or even when I need a quick break from work. The only thing I ask is if we could have the option to turn the little hint on and off at the end of each lawn. Sometimes there will be patches that I go back to at the end and I have every intention of mowing them, but it drives me mad when the game frantically shows me that I’ve forgotten a patch. Very rarely has this feature come in handy, and it has actually added some anxiety to the game which I believe defeats the purpose. To the game developers: PLEASE make this an option in the future. Otherwise, this game is awesome. 5 stars regardless of the annoying flashing when you still have blades of grass to mow. I understand that it’s for those moments when you’ve missed a piece, but again, I’m often reminded even when it’s just an area that I need to go back to.Edit: I just updated the app and now my green visor is gone. I thought I had earned that in a toolbox. Can we please keep the items that we unlock?

Used to be good

If you look at all the good reviews, they are from a year ago or more. This game used to be so fun and relaxing, but unfortunately there have been some changes that really took away from it. They added a shop in the middle of the houses that forces you to stop which is super annoying because it destroys the flow. And why should you have to stop at the shop if you don’t want to purchase anything? Also, even if you pay the $6 to remove adds, it constantly asks you if you want to watch adds to get more gems. This should be an option that you click into from the menu, not a constant interruption that ruins the relaxing feeling of the game. I also noticed that they removed a lot of the cool layouts of houses and buildings and replaced them with weird and boring random farms in the middle of town which are not cute or fun and make no sense. Before, you would get really interesting upgrades to your character like fruit wheels pretty quickly which added variety and made the game motivating. These are gone now, at least in the beginning and the upgrades just feel more mainstream and realistic, which is not motivating at all. I also feel like the creators just don’t care anymore. For example I just saw a house with huge candy canes in March that they didn’t bother updating after the holidays. I was excited to play the game again and relax but I just don’t find it relaxing anymore :(

Fun and relaxing, but can be frustrating

I’ve been playing this game for about 1.5 months now. I’d like to see more variety in lawns, the current options are pretty limited. Things like baseball diamonds, new park ideas, even simple cosmetic changes would help keep me excited for the next street. My main issues are the ads and toolboxes. There’s a 30 second ad after each lawn (sometimes I get 2 lawns before another ad) which gets pretty frustrating as each lawn takes about a minute to complete. I get that you have to make money but that seems a bit greedy. As for the toolboxes, I’m just a bit disappointed with the “random” aspect. You spend hours opening a box only to get a part you already have, which I understand from a business standpoint. But out of the 8 epic cases I’ve unlocked 3 have been new items and 5 have been repeats of those items. They take a day each to unlock. I’m at the point now where I get a feeling of dread now when I get an epic case, because I know I’m gonna spend a day opening it and it’s probably gonna be a duplicate and I’m probably wasting my time but I still gotta do it. I may get a new item every couple days and the rest are duplicates.TLDR; overall a decent little time waster game but the constant ads, limited variety, high costs to remove ads and buy toolboxes, and endless duplicate parts are why I uninstalled.
