Altruistic is Not Issuu
I’m discouraged by Issuu’s unwillingness to provide non-profits with an affordable option to publish all of their life-changing stories so worthy of being told. Most technology software companies are happy to do so, because it’s technology and doesn’t affect the company’s bottom line. Supporting non-profits in that way is their way of giving back to the community while also helping the non-profit connect to the people most passionate about their work. At $35 per month with the annual subscription discount, there are too many children to feed, debilitating diseases to cure, homeless veterans to shelter, etc. for a non-profit to conscientiously put $35 of their donor’s dollars each month into the hands of Issuu. Issuu, a company that thinks that annual subscription discount and charging for features of convenience (rather than performance) should suffice for non-profit needs. They feel so strongly about not supporting non-profits, they had to make a FAQ saying No we don’t provide a discount. I’d look into Salesforce’s charitable giving model. I don’t think it’s a coincidence why they, Facebook or Google have had such great success. Charitable causes connects people, creates respect, affinity and trust. Thanks anyway Issuu. Great Resource!
I had been using this for quite a while then stopped. Today I was looking for something specific and thought about searching in issu. To my happy surprise, it was right there! All for the basic free browsing membership. Even though there are some sponsorships/ads, I don’t find them intrusive whatsoever. Thank you issu!
They just looking for the data base
I download the app and try to sing up! There was the option to create the new account or use Fb or Google account! And guess what??? I spend 40 minutes and didn’t success to make the new account! Because the app design to be sure you use your google or fb account to enter! I change several names, but no one was good for this App! They don’t let me to create an independent account!!! That is so bad!! So, if you just want to stole the data base from the people’s Fb and Google account - remove the option to create the new one! Be honest!!!
Free small book library
So far I have been saving books that other people share, which varies from books, magazines, stories, and literally anything that’s meant to be read or plain workbooks. You will not always find what you’re searching for, but there’s still some other options for a reader or if anyone is trying to pick a language. It’s been free and it’s a contribution from other users like yourself. So thanks for sharing!
ISSUU is a great source of content and a place to let your voice be heard
I started publishing my eMagazine, GentlemansPurpose, on the ISSUU platform. Initially the service was presented to me through a magazine ad rep that I was working with as a business development manager in charge of marketing. When I launched my own consulting agency at the beginning of 2020 I still wasn’t sure how this platform was going to fit into the picture. In the summer of 2020 I launched Gentleman’s Purpose as a way to help men identify their purpose and fulfill it. Through offering helpful, entertaining content the emagazine also offers me the opportunity to engage with small businesses and help them with their business planning and marketing. Excellent resource on astounding range of subjects.
Some texts are teasers, and that’s O.K., like a movie trailer. Other documents are comprehensive; hundreds of pages. If I can offer a suggestion; maybe I just having discovered it yet. I’d like to sort, categorize, or prioritize downloads. I’ll go searching and find a lot of material. Not stopping at the first find, I would then like to organize it for future reference. Maybe use a personal rating to sort?
Great features for Independents!
They have a feature where you can share apart of your editorial onto your instagram story. It's very easy to edit and translate into an easy mobile read. You can also post updates for your subscribers that use the app, giving people and incentive to read your online version on this platform. (The posts can be exclusive updates) But my favorite thing is probably the printing option! You can order Matte or gloss full color prints of your publication from issuu at just one or in bulk. The prices have been better than any of the printers I've gone too locally. (Actually not sure if this option is available through the app)
Great little app to discover content
This little app always manages to bring me fresh plate of content. Whatever my interests are, there is always something to learn and enjoy. The app is so simple and intuitive that you don’t have spend time looking for stuff. You open the app and it’s right there waiting for you. Why Sign In Every time?
Hello, I have been using Issuu for quite a while now and it is wonderful app for reading industry related mags and books, would have given 5 stars but for the fact that I have to sign into the app every now and then is rather frustrating. Why can’t you make it possible to stay permanently signed in. I use it on my iPad, which I have to sign into. You can also make it possible to use the fingerprint reader.

Hey thought I would write this review. I really enjoy using your app. I am always finding new information. One thing I would like to request is that you put the stack titles in alphabetical order. Every time that is use Issuu I'm saving at least a dozen or two new titles and now have amassed over 100 stacks and finding the stack I need is a bit of a struggle with the way you order the stacks now.
