Please add playlist playback abilities
I really really wish this app would include the ability to play a playlist instead of individual songs, artists and albums. I am a fitness instructor and need this app to play my playlists! Otherwise works pretty good!
Also a media player with EQ
This app allows you to play you music library with an adjustable EQ. Great also for the car too, but even better for the BlockRocker. This changes the EQ on the source, doesn't "reprogram" the BlockRocker unit.
Could be awesome
App does not allow equalizer to work when playing songs via normal Bluetooth. When trying to play songs via the app so the eq works, it does not show all the songs and always just crashes. The sound effects are okay but can’t search and add new ones. To me the eq was the BIG deal for this app and it does not work like I thought it would.
This app doesn't work!
I downloaded this app because I own the Ion Block Rocker and it's awesome; however, the apps EQ only works on certain music on your phone and will not on other apps like Pandora for example! Every time I tried playing a song from my IPhone 6Plus the app would crash! This app needs so much work!
Truly pathetic
Which grade schooler did this design?!!! Theres no way to update my tracks, no way to go from playlist back main screen, no way to remember the EQ presets. I didn't even get to the part where all the other reviewers say it crashes. For a company of Ions stature, you'd think they could spend a couple of grand to build an app that doesn't tarnish their image...
Needs improving
Once you go to pick a song you cannot go click back. You'll have to close the app and reopen it just to change a song. Quite annoying
20% Worthwhile
While the app has its advantages – the equalizer works pretty well and the sound effects work fine - The bug everyone else here has reported about the app not playing all of the songs on your device is completely correct. What's more, it speeds up the song playback, pushing it up-pitch. If you simply play your songs back via Bluetooth, the pitch is correct, but you can't use the equalizer. I agree with everyone else – the app needs upgrading immediately.
Needs some work
Can only play a few songs from my playlist. When I try to play another song, it plays a different song I already played. The EQ really works good and the music sounds so much better. They need to work out the bugs. It's almost there though!
APP DOES NOT WORK.
I could see some things that need to be changed right off the bat. Needs a search, takes way too long to search for a single song. Of course, I never got the chance to really test it. The APP just wouldn't ever stay up long. If you pressed a button for a song it shuts down. The EQ doesn't work either. The APP needs to be completely revamped.
Could be a LOT better
First, this app will only play two songs from my library on my iPad. Don't understand why because it will play the whole library from my iPhone. Second, why am I stuck with searching through my entire library to find a song??? Why can't I have the option to create a playlist? That way all the songs that I need for a game are there already. Come on, people, try and keep up.
