It’s a very good app

The reason I rate it 4 starts and not 5 is because the replacements The reason I rate it 4 stars and not 5 is because the replacements . When it tells u the product is not there it asks u to replace it and the selection it gives u to replace isn’t big enough, for an example I might be getting food for my dog and I choose one he knows and enjoys but then I have to pick from the replacements which are only like 5 ,but originally there is 10 and they don’t include them. And he doesn’t like any of the replacements they choose . I don’t like that if after only 10 mins I don’t choose a replacement it will choose for me . The pros Something I love that the apps has a big selection it has bakeries to buy from supermarkets pet shops , food places . The prices are the same as if u were buying it directly delivery isn’t so expensive .Overall the app has more pros than cons I recommend getting it .

great idea and potential, terrible execution

in terms of accuracy regarding the available products, which has really caused me to write a million complaints -just about every single time i try and make an order- it’s unbelievable how many errors could happen through this app.. not sure if it’s the app or the supermarket but it’s probably the updated connection between both that seems to be totally lost and horribly delayed.the delay is seriously annoying, and after waiting for over an hour it turns out that half of the products are out of stock and absurd lags could take place at the point of substituting the products and this whole process is really chaotic. it’s seriously disappointing because it’s comforting to use but then there’s so much hassle around a simple order and it’s all just messed up over technical errors that should really be handled better.. especially after a thousand complaints

Keeps taking 1aed and not refunding

I thought I found a good and convenient app to shop from home. When I go ahead to make a purchase it first takes 1aed. I thought this was a precautionary thing to make sure the credit card works and/or has funds or that they were waiting to confirm the shop has the chosen items. The 1aed isn’t deducted from the final amount either it’s an unnecessary fee that is not advertised beforehand. My relative experienced the same thing so it wasn’t just me. Unfortunately this feels very scammy and I will be deleting the app unless the mistake is rectified.Edit: they refunded the 1aed dirhams. Hope it doesn’t happen again. Changed my rating from 1 star to 4.

Excellent customer service follow up!

I love using this app. Not only is it convenient, but the customer service, when something doesn’t arrive on time or is inaccurate, is excellent!!! They give you a call and actively work with the shop to resolve your issue and they very obviously have been trained well on how to handle customer complaints. This company should serve as an example to many other companies on how to do customer service right!!! For this reason, I will keep using the app and continue to support them with my business.

Your convenient stores in the palm of your hand

InstaShop is as good as the shops that they are dealing with . As an application it’s convenient to order your small groceries without the hassle of calling the shop directly at anytime and wherever their is an internet connection ,that’s excellent however their is always the shop itself and their services , some of them are cool and minimum mistakes and some of them are long delays and a lot of mistake and confusion , it’s up to the user to pick and choose from which shop to buy . Overall , I am very pleased with this application , using it daily . One more thing , InstaShop gives points (lira) that can save you at the end of the month when you are very short on cash and you need a to buy cig and Diet Pepsi 😅😅

Horrible experience lately

I am not sure how this company received such a high rating. My personal experience has been horrible and my judgment is not from one time incident. It is the same problem over and over. You place an order, InstaShop stating the the order is picked up and the expected time of delivery is after 45 min for example. then your check after 1 hour or so and nothing is delivered. You call the merchant , then the merchant states that InstaShop driver has never showed up yet. You raise a complaint with InstaShop they call u after the product is delivered late to tell u sorry sorry. It will not happen again. Well, so far 3 consecutive times with me. Countless with my wife who used to order everything for the family from InstaShop. I will never order and actually deleting this app.

Fail to meet expectations

The concept behind the app is good, however, in real life it fails to meet the needs of the customers. Items that are unavailable are not marked so when you place an order you get updates to find replacement items. The other issue is the delivery. They estimate a delivery time, but can’t commit to it. Give them an extra 15-20 minutes when ordering as they are never on time. The customer service guys follow up if you place a complaint or wish to cancel an order that’s been delayed. They are not problem solvers rather chatty men who just want to hear their own voices rather than solve the problem. If they bother to call the least they should do is offer to reimburse the delivery fee whenever there are issues with the items or delivery time. Still a long way to go to meet what this app set out to achieve!

SEVEN HOURS WAIT TIME???

What was supposed to be 80 mins , became a 7 hours wait time!!? Such poor customer service. If you need to report an issue, report it & you’ll receive a text stating who’ll handle your case and to show you how much they care. BUT the catch is you’ll continue to wait for a minimum of an hour before anyone gets back to you. & when they do, it’s basically a waste of time as nothing will be resolved. This is my second issue report of the day was was done more than an hour ago & I’m yet to get any call back, and I don’t think they’ll be answering as they just gave me 8 AED points in my InstaPoints for an order worth around 200 DHS… Don’t waste your time on this APP.

Good prospects so far in Egypt

Had a good first experience using the app, instantly informed through the app of the unavailable products and prompted to choose replacements or cancel. Also, good follow up from the market personnels and delivery person. The delivery time would have been better but was delayed due to traffic issues, and I was informed of the possible delay in due time. Needs to include more markets and services in my area (Alexandria, Egypt) for a wider variety of products and price ranges. So far is good but can be better.

Great app..one small problem

This app is incredible, it is exactly what we need at a time like this, it’s like walking through a supermarket, but digitally. The only inherent problem I have with this app is the “replacement” part of it. For example, I tried to order shredded mozzarella, a notification popped up that they didn’t have the exact brand I wanted, instead of giving me the other brands of mozzarella to choose from, they offered me a replacement of kraft cheese, milk, and cheddar cheese. Another example is if i wanted to buy a big bag of plain lays chips, and they don’t have the big bag, instead of offering the smaller bags of plain lays chips as a replacement, I get 10 other flavors of chips and a croissant as a replacement. Please make it that you can pick what you want as a replacement instead of getting options picked for you. Thank you.
