Great tool for Special Needs Children - Just Buy it!

Wow!! This tool has been great for my 10 year special needs child. It reinforces all of the language and speech taught at school. Christopher really enjoys using this tool and he has made really great progress using the Injini products. This is a quality applciation - the software is well wrtiten and performs well - no bugs :-) - I can attest to that after working with software companies through out my career.Well worth the cost - since it is more than a typcial app price. We also just purchased the writing app.

My favorite App!

Yes, this is an expensive app. But it is well worth every penny. It has step by step level increases. It teaches systmatically with steps that make sence. If you are looking for an app that truly, truly helps your child/student learn to interact with an ipad+learn real educational skills, this is the app you want. Your kiddos will be playing this game for along time. It builds skill upon skill. I can't say enough. I've been trying to help teach one of my kidos to use the ipad. Other apps were just to hard for him. But now, he is learning to use a single finger, trace lines and interact. It is amazing. I hope that one day he can use an ipad to communicate. This app is his first step on that road.

Excellent App!

I downloaded this and tested it for use with several students. Like another reviewer said, they could easily split it into multiple apps and sell them for more, but this is a nice complete package. It's got some great visual and fine motor skill games. I love that the levels gradually increase in difficulty, the developers obviously have a firm grasp of shaping procedures. I'm thinking of several students I work with who would benefit greatly from this app, and I can't wait to get started on it with them. I'm not sure the developers where thinking of this, but I'm hopeful the tracing skills will help one child be able to navigate the iPad independently, maybe to use as a communication device. The vertical and horizontal swiping motions needed to fluently operate the iPad for communication are a barrier for many children, and I have yet to find something great for this. Injini looks better than anything I've seen so far... if kids can learn just those two things, it's worth the price alone for the independence a child can gain from those two simple skills.

Wonderful

This App is amazing my son has Cerebral Palsy so he's a bit behind when it comes to his speech skills and some motor schools but this App has really helped him improve in some of those things. For instance 2 months ago he found it hard to do a puzzle and this App has made it easier for him so much so that he can now do most of the levels. There are so many things in this App to do he can entertain himself and learn at the same time and he doesn't need me to sit with him he does it on his own. I have so many Apps for him but by far this is one of the best. A great buy and a must have for any parent.

Worth Every Penny

I use this app with kids on the autism spectrum. The app's simple design allows me to better keep my kids on task since my verbal prompts aren't competing with an overload of colors, sounds, and other unnecessary stimuli a lot of kids apps have. I like that the "controls" fade into the app. I'm not having to block buttons to keep students from exiting out of a task. That combined with the iOS 6 Guided Access, this app is a great teaching tool. Love that any new games are included in updates and I'm not being nickel & dimed for in app purchases.

Asset to all kids!

This is an amazing app. It includes so many different activities for children, they may not even realize they are working on listening and following directions, fine motor skills and cause and effect. The set up of this application is fantastic. Its very easy for a child to learn to self navigate for independent play, as well. The breakdown of levels are well thought out. However, as my daughter is 5, I would love to see additional levels offering more challenges very soon. Some people may be put off by the price, but if you are looking for an application that will give your child consistent occupational therapy in the comfort of your home long after your OT Appt is over, this is the app for you. The layout and graphics are exceptional. I can't wait to see more challenging content.

Wonderful app!

As an occupational therapist working in a preschool setting, I am thrilled with Injini! The games are intuitive, interesting for the children, and they work on foundational skills that are necessary for success. The parents and I appreciate the fact that the levels increase or decrease in difficulty based on how the child is performing at the time - this is especially important for the children I work with. Their abilities vary by the day, and I don't have to take time to adjust the settings for the activities for them - it happens automatically (and instantly). More time for fun and function!Thank you so much for this all-in-one app! It is a nice addition to my other activities. Many of my parents have bought the app for themselves to use at home once they saw it "in action" at school.

A Bit Pricy But Well Worth the Cost

Really Injini is more of a complete learning suite of games. The app is well thought out and offers a superior learning experience for young children. The developer really did their research and the mini games are definitely developmentally appropriate for young children, along with being fun. I would consider Injini to be more of a brain training app comparable to Fit Brain for Kids by Rosetta Stone without the monthly subscription fees and geared towards children who are slightly younger.Regardless of how Injini is classified the app offers exception learning thru a variety of fun and interactive games.

Fantastic!

Got the full version of the Injini Suite after having the Lite version for about two months. My 22-month-old son loves these games. When he first started playing on the iPad about 2 months ago he could really only play the balloon game (he could only tap on objects initially), but through playing, he learned how to slide objects. He spends a lot of time on the puzzles, the tracing game, and the drawer game now. So glad to have the full version so he can progress further in the levels. He is still exploring the new areas. I like how the words are printed out when completing the puzzles and traced pictures as my son, who has a speech delay, tries to say these words. My son uses the iPad when we are waiting for his older brother when he takes various classes or sometimes when we are out shopping. People often ask us what this game is, so I am regularly directing people to the app. I hope they are buying it or at least getting the Lite version, because it is great for little kids. Love the graphics too, very cute. Just wish the price for the full version wasn't so high, but in the end, I decided it was worth it and I wanted to show my support for the development of such games.
