This will not go into landscape mode on my IPad air2, like it does with the Android version. I seriously hope the developers plan on doing more upgrades....
First you have to have a current unit. I didn’t. So you have to upgrade the firmware. Finally, got the person who installed my system years ago to get me access to a site where I could do that. Still no qr code. Had to go back on site and find documents that told how to do that. One set of instructions said Log into the hrg device using a web browser. Great! How do you do that. Good luck on finding that info. Second set of instructions tell you how to do it from your system. Got it done. Now I can get still videos, but no live feed. The page that has live feed says I have to add a device, but it won’t accept the qr code and if I try to add it manually, according to instructions I should be able to do that with the units serial number. But the app isn’t asking for the serial number, it is asking for info, I don’t have. There is absolutely nothing user friendly about dealing with this company. If someone tries to sell you one of their security systems, find someone else.
If you need to be able to download saved video of something that happens - it won’t let you. Useless.
Could not find this in the search. Not even by using only HRGX. Used a PC to find the address then manually typed it into the ipad. It does work with IOS 11:A fiddly setup but Honeywell has step by step instructions that actually work.
Still no updates....this app is horrible with iPhone and iPad. Android was ok. It just won’t work
