Love this app— one suggestion!

I love this app. It’s part of my organizational hygiene routine and I use it religiously for all sorts of reminders (bills, birthdays, deadlines, chores— you name it). One thing I would love for the developers to update is the repeat notification settings! As it is, you can set reminders on hourly, daily, monthly, yearly, etc. schedules, but I would love it if there was a bimonthly option, for things that need to happen every two weeks. Otherwise, I highly recommend this app. So easy to use and it saves you a ton of headache.

Best App for ADD

Excellent app. I find myself always mulling over what’s coming up on my schedule or that I need to take care of right before bed. This lets me set future reminders to take care of things at the appropriate time. Finally, bed time anxiety of “gotta remember to do that tomorrow” is gone and I sleep better knowing I have a plan for tomorrow.

Amazing

Love how I can just click the app and it goes straight into the screen where I type In the reminder. Whereas other apps you have to find the app, tap it, see a list of your reminders, then then tap the button to set up your reminderWith this app, I just tap the app and I’m already at the screen to type in the reminder Such a small difference but HUGE at the same time

Native Reminders light

This is a nice looking light version of Apple’s native Reminders app.Thank you for listing reminders in chronological order. This makes the app useful if you have more than a handful of reminders.Please consider adding iCloud sync and a search function. Since there is no Contacts integration please expand the recent list of GPS locations from 3 to 10. Also useful would be an option when entering a geofence for a delayed Notification of 5 minutes to an hour. For example, when you break the geofence you may still have to park or ride an elevator so you may get to your office 15 minutes after breaking the geofence. I used this feature on an old 32 bit app that I can no longer run. It was very useful.

Must have!!

This is one of those apps that you can’t imagine your life without once you download it. I have a hard time maintaining systems that help me remember things, but this WORKS. I love how you can send yourself messages by location and that you can make messages recurring. I’m really excited about the new add friend feature too! Now I don’t need to get stressed when someone says the daunting phrase, “don’t let me forget…” I recommend sending yourself recurring self-care or motivational messages, too. It’s nice looking out for your future self and feeling cared for by your past self. Anyways, HiFutureSelf knows how to put the fun in functional. LOVE THIS APP!

Exactly what I needed

I’m going through a rough time right now and this app is exactly what I needed. The user interface is simple, it works and is really helping me. One of my favorite apps at the moment. I was trying apple’s reminder app but it kept glitching and wouldn’t give me reminder notifications. This app is much more reliable.

Still awesome!

I’ve been using this app for years & I still love it. It’s a minimalist reminder app for those times when you don’t have time to fiddle with settings related to the thing you need to remember in the future. It just works!Thanks for all the recent updates! A few suggestions?? 1: Change the “Sent” tab to “Upcoming” or something like that. 2: Have the paper airplane icon in the upper right be there when you edit Received reminders - to set them again (it’s there but just not visually) 3: Add a “No sound” option? 😊

Easy to use!

I really love the layout of this app, it’s quick and easy to use. I have a small request if that’s possible. Sometimes I like to randomly scroll through the dates to leave future me an unexpected message. My problem is when I scroll, the app will automatically take me back to the present date. I adore the concept of sending your future self a message, and I think this app really delivers!

Excellent Single Purpose App

And Now for iPad!Thank you to the developer for listening to my suggestion for an iPad version. Now works perfectly in landscape mode. This app does exactly what it says. Write yourself an email for a reminder sometime in the future. It will show up right when you need it.Updated update (yeah, I know): I was contacted by the developer who tells me that an update with iPad version + landscape mode is coming soon. Thank you.Review Update: I have completely stopped using this app because it will not work on an iPad in landscape mode. • Here’s a request to the developer (whom I have previously contacted via email on this issue). Please adapt this to iPad and landscape mode.There are a large number of people who would use this app if it would work in landscape mode. For any type of writing or written communication I use an iPad almost exclusively. I use a keyboard. I use something other than Hi Future Self that actually works.Previous review (was 5 stars):This app has been around for awhile, but now with and update. I have been using this for a long time. I often send email reminders to myself that arrive days, months, or years into the future. It saves me on anniversaries, or birthdays, or other distant events.Of course if you think that current politics will result in a destroyed planet you won't need this app.

Seriously helpful app

This is one I've used for years. Terrific for making sure you don't miss appointments or whatever, if you're not someone who looks at a calendar every day. Even cooler: I wasn't entirely content with the date selection wheels, and mentioned in a review that a calendar selection option would be helpful for setting a reminder for, like, months from now. The developer FIXED IT!! It's way easier to set a future date/time now. I'm really tickled. Just grab this. You won't regret it.
