We love this app

We've had this app since our 12yo was about 2 and he loved it back then. We now have a going on 2yo and have reunited with this app for him after finally figuring out the name. So glad I came across a video that showed the name. The little one loves it already! Thanks!

Wonderful for special needs!

Thank you for creating such a wonderful application. We are using it to work with our non-verbal son who has autism. I love that the "clue" is shown first, and that you have a "REPEAT THE CLUE" button as well. The activities are great, the artwork cute and colorful. If I could ask for anything more - my only wish is that if somehow you could choose to select the item from a smaller sampling than a choice of 6. Example: Like a choice from 2,4, or 6 - depending on a child's skill level but overall this app. is amazing! Well done.

Very fun

My son (4 yrs) plays this all the time when he is a little over tired and needs to stay busy (out to dinner etc.). He loves it just for fun to learn letters and numbers of course. Upgrades: Would be great to offer additional features or mini games to purchase within the game like maybe additional "themes" to create his own scenes or a section about preschool adding. As he gets older maybe offer upgrades to keep him playing an learning. Great app!

Fun but not so challenging

Given the number of preschool apps I own, this was just "okay". I bought this one on the strength of Tomatointeractive's matching game. Although there are six games in this bundle, they don't offer the same developmental level of challenge. Maybe I'm reading too much into it. My daughter definitely has fun playing the games, but I would have probably passed on this one in favor of something that offered more of a developmental challenge. This would have been a smarter purchase before she had mastered her numbers and letters.

From a teacher

Having a degree in educational technology and having worked with Pre-K children for 5 years, I always approach pre-school software with a critical eye. That being said, this is a simple and intuitive program that will serve 3 functions. It will entertain children; it will engage the recall and relationship aspects of young minds (very important); it will provide an opportunity to interact with the child.From an educator's point of view, I recommend that you play this game with children rather than just handing them the device to keep them quite. For example, let the child "teach" you how to play".

My kids love it.

I got the free version of the hippo fun game and bought this from the ad-ons and my girls love this game very much as well as the song. However I would like to see added things such as letter fill in for spelling simple math problems a spelling list in order or a test on their knowledge of the order of the letters are supposed to be in. This is just a short list and I've noticed other paid programs that offer such things but only that specific item such as addition or simple spelling or the alphabet. I'd like to see an all in one program that's fun for the kids and affordable. Most expensive programs let people down without some kind of samples. Thanks.

Broken?

Just bought this for my kid since it was on sale. Unfortunately the game's spoken clues aren't working. So in advanced mode you have no idea what you're supposed to do. I reset my device after installing just in case and that did nothing.Could be a fun game for kids if it worked. Will revise my review if it gets fixed.-- Update: Fired up the game a few hours later and now the voice is working. Not really sure what changed between then and now, but at least it's working for me. Decent app for people with young children. Won't give 5 stars, since there's no guarantee it won't stop working for me again.
