No Comparison-Best VTG Search Out There
My go-to when searching for vintage! Hands down, this is the best app out there for doing just that. I have become increasingly frustrated searching for super tailored results across other vintage apps/selling sites as I was finding that they prioritize bigger sellers & Ads over the smaller sellers that may actually have the gems I’m in search of. Gem brings those to the forefront, & I can really find what I’m in search off. The design of the app is easy to navigate & super user friendly as well!!! 5 stars!
Love This App!
GEM has created an amazing platform for vintage “One Of A Kind” finds. It’s beautifully curated and easy to use. You can simply search rare items and find them quickly. The photography and stories create a heartfelt feel touching all of the senses. All of these items have soulful stories behind them and the GEM app allows a creative space to let these items start new chapters and travel through time. I highly recommend this app! Finally vintage search made easy!!
Gem is the most dynamic app for shopping vintage. Gem is a search engine that allows you to search vintage items across a multitude of platforms to help you find that vintage piece you’ve been searching for endlessly. After you search for an item, you can click on the pictures to send you to the sight where it is for sale. If you like what you see it’s easy to purchase!Another sick feature offered on the app are stories which can be found by clicking on the Stories (duh) tab in the menu. These stories highlight different people, shops, and ways to style. A great place to find some inspo!!

If I could only have one app it would be this one. I really love it. It’s like time traveling! Best way to find specific vintage items because it searches the entire internet for you. Usually you have to check ebay, poshmark, etc separately which is time consuming! With this app it’s all in one place. I had an old pair of jeans that no longer fit me and I found the exact jeans in my size in less than a minute. I’m surprised this app isn’t more popular because it’s incredibly useful.
Best way to find vintage clothing online
I love this app! It’s so nice to be able to search for vintage clothing and get relevant search results from all over the internet, not just within whichever shopping platform you happen to be using. I’ve found a lot of special pieces from independent seller websites through Gem that I would otherwise have missed. I also love being able to filter for a range of decades and within a price range. Definitely a must have search app for vintage collectors!

As a seller and buyer of vintage clothing, this is my go to for searching for vintage. I love how specific you can make your search and that it comes back with exactly what you’re looking for and not a bunch of non applicable results. The filters let you see size/price/decade/location results from various popular vintage sites (Etsy, EBay and more) and the app lets you save listings and shows you the shop names which is great as a seller as it’s yet another way to drive business to your brand. Another favorite thing about the app is that it has an editorial section featuring interviews with vintage fashion icons, tips and tricks from stylists to seamstresses. It’s a perfect one stop shop for seeing and hearing from the diverse people that help vintage thrive👍🏾✨👏🏾
A must for sustainable shoppers & vintage lovers!
I found Gem Search recently and it’s become a go-to tool for building my sustainable wardrobe. I love that I can search tons of boutique vintage shops & platforms all in one place. It’s so easy to save what I like and have my favorites in one app before I decide to purchase. As someone who not only personally buys vintage, but also sells it, I know it can be an overwhelming online process with so many websites to look through. This app makes the search simple and easy, to truly show you the best of what’s out there (everywhere).
THE best one stop shop
I absolutely love Gem. It’s an amazing, easily laid-out one-stop shop to finding quality vintage, antiques and other pieces. I have found so many bucket list pieces through Gem and have also saved money on items I was interested in but took the time to do a quick search and found cheaper in other shops. I have also discovered new selling platforms because of Gem! One thing I do wish is that Depop was a part of the Gem family. I really think that platform is missing out because it isn’t included as a Gem promoted shop -so items in Depop sellers’ shops aren’t even considered when someone does a Gem search.
Amazing—such a big help!
Game-changer. This is what buyers and sellers need! This really brings all the best items right to you. I buy a lot of vintage and used for myself, and I sell (which requires research on comps for pricing), and this app is just *the best*. It saves so much time vs. using a search engine and many multiple platforms—who can keep up with all the places vintage is sold nowadays? Gem does it for you and saves so much time. Some of the website searches are cluttered with a lot of irrelevant stuff, but this never is. It lets you can find what you want now and set up alerts if a new listing comes up. This app is really helping sustainable fashion reach more people more effectively! Their customer reps are also sometimes in online vintage groups, and they are always so sweet.
No longer jumping between apps and sites.
As an avid online vintage shopper and shop owner, I’m always looking for specific items to add to my personal collection, or just for reference of what is out there in the world. I find myself spending a lot of time checking different apps like Etsy, and Depop and my favorite vintage store’s websites, jumping from screen to screen, and never finding what I know has to exist somewhere. Now with Gem it is all in one place and I can see so much more of what the vintage community has to offer. It is a great way to reach and discover some really incredible small businesses and vintage sellers. I highly recommend.
