Really great app!

The app is amazing and it’s so realistic, it’s crazy. I am having a problem though. I finished the first three units but I can’t do anymore. It says the event is closed. It doesn’t give me any information on when the event will open, what I have to do to get them to open, nothing. Anyone have the answer to this or am I the only one experiencing this?

Difficulty with Game

I have had trouble playing this game. In just one day of playing it (today), it has overheated so fast that it has literally “fried” one of my phone’s speakers. I have an iPhone 7 and it was purchased less than a year ago. The game play was fun, but the fact that it causes damage to the hardware of my device I will be uninstalling it. I have read other reviews in which people have had similar experiences. In your replies to these people, you said it doesn’t or is not as likely to happen on newer iPhones. You should put a disclaimer in the apps description page stating that this type of hardware damage is possible. Otherwise, people may download this game and destroy their phones.

Awkward but it's really cool

I, uh, didn't realize this was meant for training nurses and things, it just looked cool so I tried it! And to learn medical stuff I suppose. I know next to nothing about gastrololgy (?) but I've been doing a decent job... Somehow.. 😂Anyway devs I kinda feel bad cause I just kinda jumped on without realizing ^^; but it's great!

Great Training Tool however...

This “Game” is a great training tool! Very realistic and a great way to practice procedures however, the game causes INTENSE overheating of iOS devices. I was using this app and it caused my iPhone 6S to overheat to the point where the device fried itself and no longer functions. I purchased a new phone, the iPhone X, after about 3 minutes of playing this game, the phone began to heat up. So I’ll be deleting this app as well as the Intubation app as well. If you guys can fix the amount of use this app needs on devices, I’ll totally download again.

Great game not for me

This game is very intuitive and amazing graphics ( almost to good ) I thought this game was going to be a game like the other hospital games but with better graphics this game was very exceptional but I didn’t get pass the 3rd mission because I didn’t understand the diagnosis that was supposed to be the answer this game in my brief moment of playing was very good but because I have no medical knowledge or am a hospital student I felt out of place other than out I recommend it ( unless you don’t have any medical knowledge or google in hand )

Add one thing

Love the app I really do but can you add screen rotation when I charge my phone when playing the screen doesn’t flip so it’s hard for me to charge my phone at the same time and play my game and I can’t my my charger because this is the only plug I have closest to me in my room

Needs work on the controls

This is a very realistic demo. I actually like it a lot better than the other ones. However the biggest flaw are the controls. The are VERY bad. So bad to the point that I can not recommend something like this for students or future students. It’s too much. But I guarantee that once they get those controls working better and the bugs fixed this would be awesome for practice. Hopefully they will update the game and fix the control bugs

Isn’t working right, but seems cool

I’m not a medical student or anything, I just love learning about stuff and thought this would be cool. Concept seems great, but the screen where it’s supposed to be showing all the details and such in the middle is just black for me. I can’t do anything because I can’t see where anything is inside the “grid” area. Would love to know if it’s just my device or see this bug fixed, but great concept!Note: I have an iPad Air, game downloaded and runs just fine otherwise, just only shows black within the grid

Medical knowledge only🧬

Because i am a nursing student is the only way i had any idea what i was looking at. This is definitely more of a “study” or “practice app rather than a game. Graphics are amazing!!! I was so disappointed with how short it was though😭 I wish i could play this for days and days and days

Awesome

I really like this game, it’s extremely educational and helps students learn more in detailed. I am not becoming a surgeon or any gastro field I was able to get 3 stars on almost all of the levels. I really enjoyed learning about a field I am not in and see from the perspective of a gastroenterologist and a student. Anyone who wants to learn more about their field or just want to try this game out. I highly recommend this educational game.

Each case is vetted by top gastroenterologists and medical experts with clinical simulation training experience from top hospitals. Gastro Ex simulates GI tract procedures that millions of adults will have in their lifetime. According to the CDC, adults 50 years and older should get screened for colorectal cancer given the increased risk in this age group.
