You’ll end up spending like $20 to get all the plants. Hire a graphics designer to make the plants. I don’t think this app is ready to be released yet. It’s an amazing idea but please please keep working on it.
This app works good in the parameters that are included but it needs many more options as far as plants go. I purchased all the upgrades but it still needs much more. Hopefully they will be increasing their plant inventory
There isn’t a way to import your own image to start creating your design. Kind of defeats the whole point of the app.
The app was very spotty and slow running. Sizing and placing was made difficult and the scrolling part didnt work at least 90% of the time, I couldnt even work on a design most of the time. There’s also very few options for landscape templates imo, plus you have to pay to unlock anything beyond regular plants.
I spend more money than I ever thought I would on this app. You had to pay money to upload a picture of your own house. It would have been worth it to me if it functioned. It is not well-made. I have not been able to successfully use it sense I purchased it. Incredibly frustrating. I would like a refund.
Paid $3.99 to unlock additional features but when I tried to use “upload your own photo” it wanted to charge me another $3.99. A ripoff.
The app is great but the free options aren’t enough to design anything you could actually use in your own yard. Unfortunately if you purchase all 4 packs for $16 you only get the locked items you see in the free version. I would definitely purchase in the future, if the content was enough to cover the basics here in Northeastern United States. The content seems vague and is severely limited at this time. I will be on the lookout in the future for enough content to make purchase worthwhile. Unfortunately there just isn’t anything in the app store for designing or planning a garden that’s affordable. These apps are strictly marketed towards the upper middle class and the wealthy.
Are you able to take a picture of a customers garden then upload that to the app and build it with their house in the background?
This app enabled me to download a picture of my own home and add many landscaping features. The pictures of the trees and plants are realistic. The ideas can be saved for later use. The app is worth the money. The only downside is not finding familiar plants.
The idea this app is based upon is sound. It could be a really great app but it lacks a HUGE amount of flora. Your options are very limited, and after paying $5.99 to expand your flora, your options are still hugely limited. It does narrow down the flora by zone, light, and humidity, but it lacks information about each species of plant, shrub, or tree. Also, you pay another $5.99 to take your own photo in the app. It comes with stock images of sketched houses, but to add your own image, the in-app purchase requires the additional $5.99. I didn't upgrade "structures," but for the two "upgrades," I pace $12. For that amount of money, I could have had any one of the beautifully crafted and designed apps in the App Store. Very disappointing, I hope they make changes to the app to be worth the money paid.
Sketch your garden in 5 minutes - simple sketching and prototyping tool for garden lovers. Application for garden lovers and landscaper designers, that lets you quickly sketch garden designs and create garden visualisations. Mainly intended for quick prototyping and experimenting, it is simple yet powerful: start with taking the photo of your garden, search through the plant database by filtering them by size, type or name, add equipment (like benches or fences) to the design and finish by painting surfaces (like water, paths or lawns).
