A wonderful little app

It works nicely and allows you to take into account all the issues needed to make a decision. A nice way to make sure you have the big picture! I've used it for several decisions and have found it very helpful.

Good start

This is a good start. What is missing though is the comparison of the values being compared. Using the vacation example, the report should show the actual cost of each destination, the time to travel to each destination, and, perhaps, the number of activities. Clearly these values can be anything and of any type, so the app needs to be flexible enough for the user to label each value for each criteria and then be able to enter the value (which can be plain text). Point is on the final report, you need to be able to see the criteria score relative to value while comparing all options, revealing that perhaps some scores have some bias to them (dad wants to go to Bill's farm, while mom & kids want to go to Disney Land), and it's dad that is using FYI Decision to make his case.

Amazing

I’ve never rated an app before but felt compelled because I love this one. Got it to help me make decisions while wedding planning. Easy to use, nice interface, and very effective!

Highly Effective

It’s hard to keep all the factors straight for involved decisions. A pro/con list doesn’t cut it. It’s easy to fall prey to subconscious biases without a logical, metrics-based approach. This app yields objective insights leading to optimal decisions. Cannot recommend it enough.👍👍

Highly effective path to a rational decision

It’s hard to compare two or more options when there’s many criteria to consider.But here are a few things I am capable of: I can list what the considerations — the various criteria — are. I can say how important each one is. I can rate each of my choices based on one criterion at a time. Great in this way, not so great in that way. And because I can do those three things, I can come up with a clear rating of how my choices stack up.This app does a great job of making the all the reasoning very visible and understandable. That makes it easier to really trust that the answer is the best choice.

Love it, but PDF is broken

Love the thoroughness and user-friendliness of the tool! One big challenge though: when having many criteria, the PDF output cuts several of them out... which makes the PDF rather useless. Hope this gets fixed!

Excellent App! Very helpful for complex decisions

I was struggling with a decision about whether to stay at a job, and was vacillating back and forth. There were so many factors, all of different importance, I just could not settle on a decision. On a whim, I did a search in apps and found this gem of a decision app. It helped me assign importance to factors, and helped me see clearly the best option for me. I could even slide the importance or effect of different options and see the effect on the results. Thank you to the developers!

Decisions, decisions, decisions.

The average person spends 80 percent of our time making decisions and 20 percent of their time carrying them out. This app actually flips around the ratio. I now spend 20 percent of my time making decisions and 80 percent carrying them out. I have more time to relax and enjoy life. There are many other apps that I tried which attempt to help in decision making, but this app has all the options and qualities I was looking for. The customer support is excellent too. I hope you decide to try this app and to make your decisions quicker and easier..
