Addicting game!

I actually paid $3.99 to remove ads, which is kind of steep if you ask me, Most games like this remove ads with any purchase of a puzzle pack (it seems like this game has all packs included for free, which is kind of cool, so may be a evens out), because I was so obsessed and couldn't stand the pop-ups. My only complaint is it's integration with game Center (perhaps it's a problem with game Center and not this game itself), after every level, Game Center tells me that I have now completed 25 levels. Seems like a glitch to me.

Challenging

I love this game. I feel it deserves 5 stars, but it isn't perfect. The puzzles are really fun but they require a lot of thinking. That said, there is a point where they require too much thinking and a lot of trial and error, with insufficient surrounding space to trial outside the puzzle grid itself. I also don't like the way it keeps sucking pieces into the grid when I am trying to place them outside, next to the grid.I find I don't enjoy the last couple rows in the Extreme packs, and stopped playing the wild puzzles after only a few. I wish there were more at the medium and hard levels.

Needs an undo feature and please organize the tiles

The game will flag an error when you place a tile down, even when it’s not obvious it was wrong.. The game solution knows it was it improperly placed tile but the player doesn’t. So an undue feature, even one limited and requiring purchases to get more would be very helpful and ease frustration, and a possible line of additional revenue for the game.Another frustration is having all the tiles scattered all over the screen. I waste a lot of time to get in the game just organizing all the tiles into little groups so that i can scan the possibilities as I’m trying to place the tiles. It’s bloody tedious and not worth the time it takes to do it All in all it’s a fun game, except for the frustration of needing to restart every time an error is made. And those bloody scattered tiles.

My new favorite!

I finished all (free) levels in flow and saw the notification they developed this game and I absolutely love it. It’s not too easy yet not too difficult. I think my favorite aspect though is how non-interrupting the ads are in this game. I’m sure this will change over time, but I really hope it doesn’t. The ads I’ve been getting have been little pop ups that allow me to exit the ad immediately instead of waiting 15-30 seconds like most ads. I usually just throw my phone on airplane mode or close out of the app to avoid ads lol. Great work on this one guys!

It’s exactly as good as it claims to be

The concept of a sudoku puzzle presented in puzzle pieces that must be fit together is a relatively simple one. The format of this game allows the player to focus wholeheartedly on the unique puzzles rather than being barraged by endless waves of ads, like in most other puzzle games. Also, none of the premium levelpacks require payment to play, they just require payment to play the premium levels without ads. The only thing lacking is that “mark mistakes” is defaulted to on. It should start switched off.

Only thing missing is “undo”

Love this game, I play all of the flow for games so was excited to see they came out with a new one. It’s very different but I really do enjoy it. The ads are not overwhelming, between games they’re only 5 seconds but you can watch a 30 second ad to get a free hint. Fair deal to me. The only gripe I have is that there is no undo button. It’s not uncommon that I accidentally “pick up” the wrong piece, or my finger lifts off the screen or something so it’s dropped in the wrong slot. Of course, you can just move it where it needs to be and continue but then you haven’t completed the level perfectly. There’s an undo button on all the flow for games so it would be nice to have one for this game too. It just needs to undo once.

Awesome, once you skip past the easy levels

Flow Fit is a genuinely fun, interesting, and unique extension of Sudoku. I play a lot of grid puzzles so my perspective may be skewed, but I found the initial levels (ranked easy and medium difficulty) to be extremely dull. The answers were almost all immediately obvious. However, once I skipped ahead to the hard packs, it was a totally different game and quite a lot of fun. The challenge is similar to playing moderate/hard Sudoku without using notes. The use of shapes lessens the difficulty a bit, unfortunately-- if there's only one T-shaped piece left, there's going to be one T-shaped slot available, so if you've been playing correctly you can pretty much ignore the numbers for several pieces per game. Still, I'm very happy with this game, and look forward to playing it a lot more.

Harder levels are too tedious

This game is a unique take on sudoku, using various shaped tiles instead of entering each number directly. The levels are generated in a way that allows them to be solved logically without guess work. I have played tens of thousands of rounds of regular sudoku, using the various strategies and annotations to solve without trial and error. Unfortunately this game has a serious flaw, which is that the difficulty quickly becomes so great that it becomes pure tedium to try and identify a valid move. This happens towards the end of the “hard” levels. The fundamental flaw is that the game provides no mechanism to make annotations on the game board. Yes, you can position pieces around the outside of the board, but that provides only the most primitive assistance. There is simply no way I would be taking notes on a piece of paper in order to try and solve the puzzles in this game. I feel this game is going to turn too difficult too quickly for most casual players, and it doesn’t provide enough tools for hard core players to reasonably solve the difficult puzzles. That only leaves guess work and luck, which is not why people play these sorts of games. 3/5 for now.

Interesting puzzle ... not a flow type

If you like Flow Free and the like, you should not expect to automatically take to this. But like the other Flow puzzles, the premise is simple: place the puzzle pieces so no number repeats in the same row or column. Quite easy to start and it doesn’t get difficult for several sets maybe 50 or 80 puzzles in all. Too long I believe, but similarly to the Flow Free types, I wanted to have my statistics show perfect scores, so although you are allowed to jump ahead once you recognize the basic way to solve the puzzle at hand, if you skip, you miss that star. I don’t think I will be as obsessed with this as I am with Flow Free on which I have just passed a full year of its Daily Streak puzzles.

Excellent but buggy

Another great game from the team behind Flow Free. It’s an excellent an addicting formula but the current release has a few issues. Tapping anywhere below where you can move tiles will register taps seemingly at random on the screen above, which if you’re not careful can burn through your hints (which I don’t use anyway) or more crucially move tiles around on the board, causing “mistakes” or just otherwise moving things around.Another minor gripe is the fact that there’s no forever pack, which is usually a no-brainer for me, as I like to get everything with one purchase vs many. That’s just me though. Otherwise a 5-star game!!
