They actually tried
I had an iPad Air 2, which doesn’t have a hardware flashlight. But instead of doing nothing and just getting you to turn on notifications, they actually light up the screen. Even though that is less effect, they still tried to give their users a flashlight. Five stars, as this is easily something they could have ignored.
Does What It's Supposed to Do
Good app. 4 stars. I like the easy usage and the strobe function. One thing I would say that I don't like is the noise it makes whenever you turn it on/off, or adjust the strobe speed or light intensity. Minor annoyance. Other than that, good app.
Simple, easy to use, no useless features.
The app works as advertised, is easy and fairly intuitive to use, and comes in handy. It’s not the same as having a single powerful flashlight, but that’s not what it’s supposed to be.

I have an iPhone 6, fully updated with a functioning “swipe up” flashlight. I downloaded this flashlight app to create easy access from my dock. At times I am unable to get the swipe to work on my phone and, therefore, cannot access my flashlight in a timely fashion, if at all. When I want to use my phone as a flashlight, it’s because I need a flashlight NOW, not 10 swipe attempts later. It’s on my dock and easily assessable 😃. Second plus is that I can choose a lesser or brighter level of light 😃 and it remembers the setting next time it is turned on 😃. When the app opens, the light automatically comes on 😃. The light can be turned off with out closing the app 😃. And, closing the app does turn the light off 😃. I like the SOS signal, should I ever need it 😃. I am happy to report that the strobe and SOS swipe is separated enough from the on-off button, preventing accidental activation 😃. Even the sound is helpful so If I inadvertently open the app, I am alerted and can turn it off, saving battery life 😃. So 5 ⭐️ and 10 😃.

Love this!!! It’s bright. You can change the speed of the strobe and the brightness of the light. It’s great for late night walks. You can see the strobe light off a stop sign half a mile ahead. It also allows you to open your camera with that high flash. This is how an app is supposed to be. It does what it advertises, no adds, and helps add safety to night time events/ and or emergencies. Love this app!!
Poor interface
Interface is a mess of various elements most of which have no connection with a flashlight. Takes too many taps to get to fast strobe effect. Doesn’t save setting.

Great flashlight!
Okay, so you gotta look at some ads down at the bottom of the screen. But the flashlight is much brighter than the stock Apple flashlight. I wish I could swap them out and make THIS one my goto. Cool app!
Best Flashlight App
I have been using Flashlight for quite a while now, and all of its features are very useful. I’ve used the strobe when I’m out on walks, and it’s proven to be perfect for the job. And as for speed and stability, the app is perfect in that sense as well. Very seldom have I run into issues. And as for the advertising, it’s unobtrusive and not distracting. Overall, a phenomenal app. Definitely worth a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👍🏻
