Ads are too intrusive

Great app but ads are too intrusive. Adding a group chat function would be even better.

Didn’t work

With Windows 10 on a new mid-range HP laptop, the Feem app on my iPhone 11 running iOS 14.4 kept popping up a request to search the local network for other devices, which I kept approving. Both iPhone and Windows Feem apps showed they were connected to the same WiFi network, a simple home network running on a new Eero router. All new equipment running the latest operating systems with very run-of-the-mill configurations. Yet neither device - each sitting inches away from the other - could find the other. Fail.

Wow simple and fast

I have a server in my basement den that has our Plex app on it. This Feem app is a huge timesaver. I just take the pics or vids I’ve snapped on my phone and send them to the windows client running on my server on my home lan and now they’re in my plex app and I don’t even have to leave living room... incredible. The free version works very well but will randomly crash. No issue though since it starts right back up. I think I will certainly buy the pay version to be able to send files to a more specific area since the free version only puts them in the default PC location. Thanks for a great app.

Chatting is Cool But Pictures

So, I mainly got this app because there was a video that was hard to share with my apple device. Then, I noticed when I received the video, the quality was clearly taken down. To me, quality is everything, same with pictures, it also downgraded quality. Everything being so fast is cool tho

Crashes

I’m a bit annoyed that I paid for Feem Pro both on my PC and iOS device and yet the iOS app crashes when I attempt to transfer files to my PC. It didn’t do that yesterday, I’m not sure what the hold up is today. I’ll adjust this review when an update is applied, or I will refund Feem Pro for iOS.

Great LAN Messenger/file transfer

Took two start given that the iPhone app does not work on my iPhone 8 iOS 11.2.6When it comes to the PC version that were the other 3 stars come, given that the software is great, easy to use, free* and offers great speeds for file sharing. If you diced to go pro which is not necessary, the prices are reasonable.Looking forward to see the app the updates to work on iOS 11.2.6

Cannot paste!

Whenever I wanna pasted the text on my iOS Feem, the input window will disappear and I need to try quite a few time to successfully do it. Awful!

PC to Ipad photos fail

App connected and copied just fine, but the user interface on device NEEDS WORK. Each photo open attempt presents a dialog with choices: View or Other app. Yet no choice will simply export into the photos app for casual viewing, albuming etc.

Description

http://www.feem.io At FeePerfect, we believe the greatest sharing is among WiFi buddies -- family, friends, co-workers who are already on the same local network. No emailing, no fumbling for a special cable, no hunting for a USB stick (won't work for mobile), or impatiently waiting for iTunes to fire up. And you don't burn up precious wireless bandwidth!

Magic! Just run Feem (on sender & receiver), choose files to share, select who gets them, click Upload. Bam! Or choose a chat buddy, and open a session. Simple. Quick. Painless. Transfer pictures: phone-to-phone, phone-to-computer, or vice versa. Feem doesn't require an active Internet, but the devices must be connected to the same WiFi router or hotspot. You can kiss your USB sticks goodbye. More info at http://feem.io Extra Features: - Built-in Video Player that can play most video formats: .flv, .avi, .mp4, .mkv, .divx - Built-in Music Player to play your transferred songs. - Built-in File Browser to view your transferred files. http://www.feem.io
