No notifications

Like the app a lot. Love being able to pick and choose teams/entertainment I want to follow. Would give it 5 stars but I’ve stopped receiving notifications for some reason. It looks like others are having that problem.Fix that and it will be awesome!

they claim “minor changes to video” in latest update

Now you are forced to listen to their video ads… these now play without any way to shut them down until it has played three ads.. if i’m reading an article that they are already throwing up ads in why now am i forced to listen to these video ads too?? Most apps have setting to turn off the playing of video ..not this one…. So now if u want to receive a deluge of ads this the app for u!! I can get the content from this app in less annoying places.. it’s now deleted from both of my phone n ipad.

Great App but crashes

I love this app and the articles it pulls together by the user’s choose of favorites. The only pitfall is that it’s not updated very often and it continuously crashes after using it for a couple of minutes. Tried contacting the app support multiple times and have not received any contact back for support.

Crashes

Would be 5 stars but the crashes have been horrible the last two weeks app is up-to-date phone software is up-to-date has been deleted and re-added multiple times force closed and still not fixed. Really love the content but can’t even make it through one article without it crashing

App Shutting Down

I love FanSided. I use it to follow the NFL. Recently, it’s been shutting down after 15-20 seconds. I can’t even get through an article. I’ve tried completely deleting the app and reloading it from scratch. The same thing happens. I use the most recent updates on iPhone 12 Pro and iPad Pro. Please fix this problem. Thank you.

Would be perfect but…

Can we get push alerts for teams and things followed? The app seems to have stories updated constantly,push alerts would be ideal. Scores would be fantastic also. Just missing push alerts on apple

Notifications haven’t worked in years

So tried to use this for years cause it is the only way to read Arrowhead Addict outside of a crappy mobile web page, but notifications broke years ago and support responded back when asked if they could be fixed “not something we are working on or will be”… but they can enhance the useless video player and make video ads pop up over everything.Anyone know of a replacement or alternative to this app that gets the local sportswriters and not Yahoo Sports or ESPN stuff which I find tired and overworked???

Notifications broken

For an app that brings news to your device, the notifications DO NOT work. In a day in age where most people are already flooded with information on their devices, making time in one’s day to remember to check FanSided for news (some of which already becomes outdated by the time you remember to manual check for it), is just not excusable. I originally thought it was just me, but based on other reviews I’m seeing, this is common and it’s either happening for a lot of people, or everyone.Developer: Please fix this, and until you do, you’ve lost a regular user/reader

Needs to be updated

Every time I try to read a article that you put out it shutdown. I will reload and then 15-20 seconds later the site closes down. I reload another story and does the same thing. I get alerts and sometimes it won’t even load. I would have to open the program, find the story and then it will load. This happened weeks ago.

Really sad - destroyed experience through forced video ad play

This is not going to end well. I’ve had this app on my phone for well over a year (the space is confusing - so many sources, such weird naming and bundling - I am not really sure how long exactly) now they have chosen to force me to play video ads with the volume up before I can view the content. No. Freaking. Way. Not only is the app getting deleted, but how will they ever get me back? An ad campaign to let me now they‘ve understood their mistake and changed their ways? Seriously bad business move everybody. Maybe have your writers tweet about it if you change your minds.
