Better than our previous chargers
Our building just put in a couple new EVoke stations and I have to say that they have been very easy to use especially with the key fob. Much better than our old chargers!
Meh
I have to agree with what other reviewer said about this app in this company, the technology works some of the time… When it works it’s great, when it doesn’t work it’s horrific. The app is super buggy and as of right now it just isn’t connecting.The saving grace is that the people who run their customer service are often quite helpful and will get back to you right away. That’s not always the case, but when they do, they’re very communicative.I just wish this thing would work.
New updates are good
The new updates made this app much better than before. Earlier it used to be a bit slow to respond but now it is always works and connected Shows you different chargers, pricing details , account activity etc Really good app
Poor quality
I just downloaded a new version and spent 15 minutes trying to change the password. After pressing a button to save a new password a blank screen appears. Was the password saved?? Or not saved?? They require a “special character” in the password. Apparently, “-“ and “_” are not special characters but “!” is! Either be liberal at what you accept as “special characters” or DOCUMENT IT ON THE NEW PASSWORD SCREEN! This is UI design 101!
Latest updates… Loads of improvement
Lots of improvement from locating a station(search), activating charging and payment process. Look forward to further improvements.
Very flakey
This is my first App Store review. I have evoke units installed in my apartment building. They only work about 70% of the time, usually due to a bug activating the charger with this app. Even if the core functionality worked, the app is poorly implemented. Screens are slow to load, I have no charging history despite using this service to charge multiple times and every time I charge it says I will be billed $0.04/kWH.I’ve never been billed. Not confidence inspiring.2 stars because at least it sometimes works.
Don’t waste your time
Horrible app. Slow to respond/screens take too long to load. No indication of the cost of a charging session until you scan the QR code and then, despite there being a start charge button, the charge starts on its own. Advertised as having charging history, but I haven’t been able to access it if it exists. I won’t be using this again if I can avoid it.

Very happy with my experience using EVoke Systems over the last year. I’ve noticed them all over NYC, nice to see.
Evoke problems
First I had a hard time getting new app to work, much more difficult then updates from other companies. Once setup I tried to charge car which failed. I have used the same charging station in past with minor difficulties, it’s now worse. Was on phone support for an hour trying to get charging stations to work with the new app. Friendly service but with no luck. Left without charging. Service put a ticket in to Tech to get bugs out. OMG!
