Overall it suits my purpose and recommend to buy

Overall it suits my purpose. But I hope that this developer makes this app recognize dmg image file lager than 100 gb. It reads and mount about 7-80 gb dmg but can’t do that for any bigger file. I think that the developer willingly limit its readable file size for some reasons. Please fix it.

It Works

I used Disk Decipher to access VeraCrypt files on a USB from an iPad Pro. After paying the additional few dollars to access that format, it worked flawlessly. I really appreciate that this app exists because it saves the hassle of needing to use a laptop with Veracrypt installed. Thanks!

Works for me

I have a 3.5 gb Veracrypt container that I created and update on my Windows PC. When traveling, I copy the Veracrypt file to both my iphone and iPad. I use this app to open the Veracrypt file on both my iPhone and IPad. This gives me access to all my data files while on the road. It’s never failed me.

Awesome

Fits my needs completely and allows me to securely store data in the cloud. Constantly updated with more useful features being added weekly. Highly recommended. One of the more important apps on my iPhone. Thank you for providing this app …

Alright app

App works fine, but does not have many features. You are unable to create crypts (you must create with 3rd party then import. I used VeraCrypt and sent the file through Google Drive), you are unable to delete directories (folders), you cannot move files around, you cannot search for items (no search bar/function), and you cannot choose how items are sorted (date/alphabetical/size/etc). The app feels a bit restrictive, but it does its job. I’d recommend this app as more of a crypt viewer than a crypt editor.On the plus side, this app’s privacy policy is great, it supports many file types, and it is very secure (the second you close the app it dismounts the drive).Of the two apps for file decryption on the AppStore right now, I would recommend this app. While this app is missing a lot of features, it has a much better privacy policy than the other, and this app does not (to my knowledge) have ties to the Chinese government like the other one.Overall, missing features, but secure. 4/5.

This IS a great app with a great developer

I have had this app for 2 years now, and every time I turn around the developer is making the app better. I mean like actually better, not fumbling around and breaking things to add pointless bells and whistles. This is a small well built app, that does exactly what it is intended to do, help you secure your data in this insecure world on mobile devices.I even contacted the developer once about an issue I had, and the answer and resolution was quick. Kudos to you!Everyone wants to scrape your data out of your hands (both those claiming to do it for good, and those who have an IOU note where their soul was), so do what you can to protect yourself.Will it solve world hunger, probably not, unless a reporter has found a secret stash of food being kept from the poor to prevent an uprising. ;) But it will hopefully protect said reporter’s data a bit.

Works really well

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do, without problems. Interface is good. The developer answered questions promptly and put a requested feature on his roadmap. All in all, a great experience on both iPhone and iPad. If you do anything much with VeraCrypt or the like, this is essential to making your iPad fully functional.

Great Preview Feature

I really like 3 features. Please keep up the great work! 1) the Disk Decipher settings default to the most secure settings and Disk Decipher makes efforts never to place unencrypted data into device memory. I’m a security professional and these are features I look for. 2) The preview feature allows me see the contents of my pdf and xlsx spreadsheets without opening them on the device. This is wonderful because most of the time I just need to see the information, not edit it. But Disk Decipher also gives me the option of opening the file in the app on my iPad or iPhone so I could edit it if I want. I’m a PC user so I transfer the VeraCrypt container from my PC to my mobile devices using a USB drive and store the container in local files. Then I open Disk Decipher and import the local container. 3) I also like that Disk Decipher can access containers stored on iCloud, OneDrive, and Google Drive as it gives a lot flexibility and options, even though at this time I’m not using these for my encrypted data.

Documents Scanning has been added

Disk Decipher just been updated with a built in documents scanner. Now I can scan all my receipts and such and put it directly into my vault. I used to have to scan my receipts via the notes app and move them to files and then import them to my vault. Now I can do all that within disk decipher. The developer has been doing a lot of great work on the app. Keep up the good work.
