Like It/ Need Some Help
The app does what I hoped!It is great to have a phone again! I also want to answer a question I saw regarding this app. He was unhappy there was no contact list. What you do is get a piece of string and tie it to your phone then you attach your contact list Ma Bell makes contact lists they are called phonebooks. I actually came on to get help. My phone still looks the same if I tap the phone. The rotary dialer is listed as a separate app way on the last page of all those app icons. I want the rotary dialer to be my phone, now, tomorrow, forever! How do I put the two together?

In the 1960s I used to work on dial telephone switching equipment - the infamous Strowger switches.I like to demonstrate Dial Plate, and comment that I have an antique smart phone.
Junk - save your dollar
Clearly the app developer for this dialer has never used dial phones in the wild. What annoys me most, is when you dial zero it doesn’t rotate back like it should. It just pops back to its position. No dial phone in the world ever did this.I grew up in rural Kansas, and have used everything from the first dial phones, and everything you can imagine including switchboard dials with patch cords, up to the last dial phones made by Ma Bell. And I’ve never seen a phone that looks remotely like the graphic design. My other criticism is the speed of the dial in return is wrong, and the sounds are wrong.So disappointing.
No sound on iPhone 8
The animation is great and so is the privacy policy but there is no sound on iPhone 8

This app does what it says: Gives you the old school sound and feeling as I remember in the 50's-60's. and those party lines they were connected in the community. Thank you for giving me the old-school feeling in the Stalgia about home.
Works better than the others & a fun App to use !
Start Dialing in a room of people and a few come over to see what the phone noise is. They can't believe you are dialing from a rotary phone! I love using this app once in a while when in no hurry to dial. Its the best of all of the dialers in the app store. Mine had a sound problem but after rebooting my iphone it went away!
Quite fun to tease the younger generation
The looks of confused scouts trying to figure out how to use a rotary dial is well worth the price.
Great sound!
Love it! The graphic is OK (Rotary Dialer's graphic is better) but the sound on this one is SUPERB! Sounds just like our old black phone that sat on my grandma's kitchen wall for years and years with the metal dial. Yes, I agree, themes would be nice (a princess phone, etc.) and a plastic dial sound would be great too, but I love this dialer and actually use it instead of the green phone button Apple gives you because it can be a huge pain in the behind trying to find the dial pad when you need it. Great work on this!
Simple & Solid
This app does exactly what the description says: it gives you a retro rotary phone interface so you van dial in old school style. Everyone I show it to laughs, but thinks it's pretty cool. It would be nice to get some alternative skins in an update. Maybe something clean and futuristic? Just a thought. Worth the $ .99!
Like the smaller dial, sometimes numbers dial wrong
I really like the dial size, nice and compact. The numbers do not dial as smoothly or as accurately all of the time but that is infrequent. Overall, a fun little app to enjoy and I use it when I can remember someone’s telephone number (which is a skill less needed when having a mobile today!)
