No matter the level of noise, it tops out at 99db and will not move the meter to red. This is a defect.
Nice simple display. No clutter like many others.
The sensitivity settings and frequency weightings don't carry over to the Apple Watch version. The Apple Watch app also needs to be restarted everytime to get a reading after each use.
Trying to help students in speech class to speak loud enough to be heard. The visual feedback worked great.
The only problem for me is that you have to pay for different filters.
You try a feature and they charge you. Ok. Now I have the advanced version. No. They want to charge again for each feature you want to use. Annoying and a bit deceitful. Product has a pretty display but I can’t tell if it’s any good or not.
Very good / easy app to use. Should be able to define the weighting and then purchase the rest if desired.
General use is terrible. Requires to be calibrated, which you have to pay for. In fact, every aspect comes with a fee.
I have neighbors who leave their tv on full blast. I use this app to record and send results to management of my building. Thank you.
Amazing how much background noise we’ve gotten used to
