Demands my location! I DON’T USE LOCATION FOR MY JOB!!!!

I understand the EVV law. Both my employer and I were deeply concerned about location tracking or photos so we use a PIN to log in. So location tracking has ABSOLUTELY NO bearing on my clocking in. There is no legal reason you need that. It is not required given how I clock in. Yet the app ceases to work if I turn off permissions. And then just to intrude on my privacy further in an even more unnecessary way, the location tracking doesn’t turn off when I clock out. It gets stuck, and stays stuck until I force close the entire app. Guys, I get the EVV requirements, but why are you forcing it when I don’t use location?

Cumbersome

The “remember me” feature does not work. Each time I log in I have to add my user name and password. Logging in and out require time consuming steps and are riddled with redundancy. Blinding flash photo verification of a sleeping client is not a good plan. Notes added cannot be edited later if a typo is discovered. Determining if a punch has a note attached requires too many steps and the app lags terribly.

Overall system

I have read through most of the reviews and a lot of what people are complaining about, has nothing to do with the app and everything to do with their employers set up of the system. My employer took time to train all of us from the help center on the dci desk top version. This was very very helpful to see just how to use it properly. Most error messages are there because the employers need to set up the clients for me or update their plan dates for me. I would recommend calling your managers for help before thinking it’s just the app. I hope this helps all of you!

Im Stuck :(

I can’t figure out what the Eg: number is? The tutorial has showed me how to do everything else, but this. I’m so confused! I put in my employee ID # thinking that would work, but it didn’t work at all. I don’t know what it’s asking and I’m stuck and can’t get into my account to put in my hours. I’ve just been doing it through my laptop, but would really like to access this through my phone on this app since that’s what they want me to use.

I’m over this horrible app

Anytime enter in information for my client on a Friday it gets denied or rejected. This isn’t denied by my employer it’s denied due to not understanding what time calculation they are using. Are you using military or standard? If employee works for an hour and a half one day and is allowed three hours for a client, then they should be able to work an hour and a half the next day without any issues. But of course this is not how it works on your app. no one returned my phone calls, no replies or responds to the emails I send, and when I call the helpline, they try to send me the same material I’ve already read that doesn’t even answer any of my questions, in an email. 🤨It is an infinity loop nightmare.

Pls continue improvements

Thank you for making font bigger. Very helpful on eyes. Thank you for saving login too. Please consider having an option to look entries/hours worked while clocked in. I have to log out of a current shift to see how much I have done for a client or for the week. Also…would be GREAT if we could edit the punch notes on our phone app before they are approved. Sometimes I see typos or remember something I’d like to add.

Not user friendly for employers or employees

There are webinars and instructions you can’t access while logged in. You should be able to access instructions and information while logged in. Also, the webinars don’t explain everything. It takes too long to log in. Should have a saved password option for the employee on a verified device. I would rather hand write and fax again.

Impressive App

Very impressive app so far! My manager held a quick training for staff where she provided the system identifier and login information needed. I was able to login with no problems!

Garbage, time consuming, waste of time.

This app just did an update and it still is garbage. Will not accept pin/passwords. Only picture ID of client. Cant figure out where to upload a client/employer/participant photo. Spent hours rewatching videos, reading Q&A’s and still no answers to my questions. Called tech support 5 times only to stay on hold and then get asked to be called back. Get a call back and I am supposed to get an email with instructions for setting up photo ID, no email!! Go figure!! I’d give zero stars if I could.

DCI App is GARBAGE

The desktop version is no better. When I try to log in using the provided instructions (which were not received until after Jan. 1) I get a message saying app usage blocked. When attempting to enter hours on the desktop version, my punches show as "Unvalidated" and my employer can't approve them, nor can either one of us edit them. The platform works nothing like the training videos, I wouldn't waste your time watching them. Thanks Acumen and DCI for taking a terrible system and making it worse... Can we just just go back to the fax days? Or snail mail? Or carrier pigeon? I think pigeons would probably be more efficient and less of a headache.Update: After about 90min the "Unvalidated" punches finally turned to "pending" and were able to be verified and approved, but not until after my employer and I were up until 1am trying to figure out what's what.
