The best thing to ever exist

When i tell you i’ve used MANY mood trackers, you better believe it. I felt like the other mood trackers took themselves wayyy to seriously. This app just brings me so much happiness. It’s something I look forward to at the end of the day. I now take pictures of things that make me happy so I can put them in my journal. As soon as it was like “your free trial has ended, would you like to continue by paying for premium?” i had never clicked the “buy” button so quickly haha. I also love looking at stats, and the way this app displays them is just so pleasing. When a conversation dies down, my next topic is “hey have i told you about this mood tracker i have? it tracks your moods in BEANS.” I’ve had friends who have had to stop me mid-sentence because I had forgotten that i had already told them about this app. I would need extra hands just to count how many people i’ve told about this app. It’s amazing. Get this. Immediately. Like Right now. DO IT!!!!

Just one complaint!

I love this app so much! I haven’t taken the time to really customize my icons and add more personal things yet, but I love being able to write out about my day and log my sleep without the stress of feeling that I have to create something perfect like I would with a physical journal. The app makes it easy to track my moods and what I did in a day, vent about my day, and just get an idea of my quality of life without taking too much energy out of me. It’s great because I’ve really wanted to get into journaling, I’ve just never had the time or energy to do so, and having this preset app simplifies the process so much. That being said, however, I do wish that the backup/restore feature was available for free/as a purchase separate from the daily pass. I’ve logged a lot in my journal and I’d hate to lose it all, it’s really important to me, but I can’t really justify it to myself to pay a subscription fee. And I think that goes for everyone, that they would like to be able to keep their journals without having to pay to keep them. I understand that at the end of the day, you do need to make money, but I would even be willing to pay a one-time fee to have the backup feature.

A useful and encouraging app

Daily Bean is a great app that I have been using for the past few weeks now. This app is great for self-monitoring in many ways such as tracking mood, how you are being social, and what you accomplished that day relating to school. There are many other ways you can customize this app to track what fits into your life best. As a college student in a psychology class currently, I have realized that Daily Bean can be a good source for bringing awareness of your daily habits. Just being aware of what and how you are feeling everyday can be a beneficial way to self-monitor. In a single-case design, there is normally a baseline assessment which self monitoring could fit into. Self-monitoring can help you realize things about yourself whether it is seeing that you are not being social, feeling sad, or realizing you are not accomplishing schoolwork like you should be. Seeing all this within the app can help you recognize positive and negative occurrences in your life so then you can get help where it is needed. It is also possible that you make changes on your own and fix your habits how you see best. Overall I would recommend this app to everyone.

One of the Best Apps I’ve Downloaded

The past years for me have been the most difficult ones I’ve ever faced. Without getting too personal, I can say isolation, pressure, and anxiety are a couple of things that have stood in my way. They created impacts and events that I’d never see or reflect upon. If it weren’t for Daily Bean, mentally-impacting moments would never be reflected on. This app allows me to check my moods every day to see how much progress I’ve made monthly; I can often at times see that my days aren’t always as bad as I point them out to be. I mark bad habits that I enact and good moments that I want to remember. I can review previous decisions, their impact, and can choose to repeat or ignore them for the better. One of the best things is that you can create your own event markers to place on any day, so I can say that I biked Monday and Wednesday using a custom icon with a bicycle on it. You’ll also never get tired of the app’s look, for there’s always new themes to use. Daily Bean has helped me to keep my emotions, self-esteem, and actions in check and will continue to do so in the future; please don’t hesitate to download and try it out.

What

I got this app because it looked so simple and easy to use, and it was for the first week. It gave me the free trial right up front and said that I didn’t have to worry about it charging me automatically after it was over, so that was also really nice. The layout is great and I really liked it, except for one major thing. You have to get the premium to be able to record your days! That, to me, seems very strange and was not made clear anywhere. When you click on the premium trial thing, it says it removes ads, you get a free theme and advanced stats, and so forth, but it doesn’t say anywhere that you have to get the premium pass to be able to record more than seven days worth. Without the pass, you have to watch an ad to record your day, which would be fine except you have to do that every single day and seeing as how this is a mental health help app, that seems a bit off-beat. Would recommend, if you pay or don’t mind ads, but otherwise it is useless.

Very nice and simple app! :D

This app is really nice and I recommend! It’s just a peaceful and fun way to record your feelings every day. Something that would make it better is if you added more categories and options to select for what you did in a given day. Since everyone’s lives are different, it should be so that you can even create your own categories and options and choose between a selection of icons to appear for the new option. (I hope this wasn’t too confusing!) Many people who rated the app 1 star said that it was because they didn’t ask for the 7 day free trail. This is just because the app is giving you 7 days to experience what it’s like, and after 7 days it will take it away. The app will never charge you for this. (Maybe the developers should make it clearer that you’re not getting charged…) All in all, it’s a very cute app, and I’m definitely getting the premium version using the lifetime payment option! Thanks for such a nice app ❤️

So helpful!

My anxiety causes me to not focus or be able to do the simple things like taking 5 minutes to write about my day! But with this app, it gives you reminders to come talk about your day and gives you simple questions to answer about your day! I also love how G rated this app is! Like a six year old could easily use this app and it wouldn’t be inappropriate! My favorite thing about this app would have to be the password! If you want you could set a password that can be any amount of digits and it will unlock if you get it right and close the app if you get it wrong! In conclusion, I really think this app will help you to better focus on the good things and be able to look back on everything that may happen throughout one day! And if you forget to do a day, don’t worry! Just go to the calendar and click on the day you missed and you can just talk about the day you missed! I highly recommend this app to not just people with anxiety or stress, but to EVERYONE! 🤍

loving this app, but one suggestion

I downloaded this app because I was seeing videos of people filling out bullet journals and wanted to start one but wasn’t sure I’d stick with it. I’ve started journals before but I never end up using them for more than a week because I get bored. But as soon as I downloaded this app, I fell in love with it. It’s so easy to used, and I’m able to reflex on my day before I go to sleep. I’m also working on a novel and this app helps me keep track of how much I’ve written each day. I read another review that also suggested this, but I think it would be nice to be able to edit certain blocks and replace some of the items. Along with that, I’d like to be able to add more than one my own block since I haven’t been able to do that. Overall, if you’re debating on downloading this app or not, I’d encourage you to definitely download it. It’s super well made and has been great for my mental health. Sorry for the long review, I just felt like I had so much to say!

Good, can still improve, give us ONE TIME PURCHASE

First of all, out of all the "self care tracking" apps I've used this is the easiest one. It's really simple, doesn't take too long to enter a day and it's relatively straight forward. You can filter by the icons you've assigned to different things, for example if you want to see how many times you've socialized with friends over the past few weeks, you can make it display that rather quickly. So that's cool and all but I still think the app could use some improvements: 1. The bean color is not colorblind friendly, regardless if you purchase a pack or not, they are all greenish or pinkish, we should be able to customize their colors to make them more distinguishable (give us a color slider or something because the little faces aren't enough in my opinion). 2. The ads pop up after you log a day and if you don't watch it, the day won't save, which is kinda greedy. I don't mind the ads that much because they're quick and the app is free but I wish there were a one time purchase price for the premium features, no way am I paying monthly for what this app currently has to offer. All in all, I'm still going to use this but it could be better.

Really love, but I have a suggestion

This app is really great. Honestly the best, I love that you can change out the icons on the blocks and make your own blocks as well. I love the photos feature too. My suggestion is to be able to add multiple moods for one day. For example, say I am feeling happy in the middle of the day, so I would write about my day with the happy mood. Then I would feel really upset later that day and I would want to write about it, but it changes the entire mood for the day. I feel like the app would be better if you added a feature where you could add multiple moods for one day and they are separate posts for them. I write a lot, so I think it would be good to make multiple posts for one day for people that write a lot as well. It would also help to add the time that each post was made. Overall, this a great app and I would completely recommend it!
