Great Basic Biking App!!

This app has the foundational features a bike app should have and not all the numerous metrics that racers need. I like it’s speedometer, odometer for each ride. I really like the pause feature that stops recording when you stop. The history is great how it breaks it down the rides in weeks months and years. History also shows the date, time, speeds, distance, etc along with a map of your ride and a notepad for extra info to log. I do not use it with the Wahoo BT sensor but rely on GPS. It records the distance nearly the same as my Apple Watch. It’s a gotta have if your an avid rider but not a racer.

Simple & Easy Biking App

I just purchased the app. I wanted to be able to keep my ride history, so I purchased the Pro version. So far I’m loving this app! I don’t need an app that has a lot of metrics. I just need the basics. This app gave me what I need and nothing that I don’t. The only thing I wish it would have is the capability to connect to a heart rate monitor. Otherwise, this will be great. It has large, easy-to-read displays with a simple interface. I just did a test ride in the car using the app to check for accuracy. It was pretty darn close! And the amazing thing is their support. I had a couple of tech/capability questions. I sent an email to their support expecting it would go into the internet black hole. I didn’t think I would get a response. But the developer, Guillaume, emailed me back within 15 minutes!! That was impressive!

Great bicycle computer!

Perfect bike computer for my needs! Replaced my basic Bontrager computer with CycleComputer. Very nice interface, easy to read display, and perfect set of features for those riders not needing an expensive (and battery hungry) gps route planning computer. And now the latest release syncs your ride stats to the Apple Health app! I connect CycleComputer (iPhone X) to a Duotrap S sensor which has been 100% reliable. The Duotrap S is not officially supported, so I simply go to the settings, select sensor ‘gps’ momentarily and then ‘Duotrap S’ to activate the crank sensor. Works every time.

GPS distance is underreported

Using the free version. I love the displays and the overall concept. What’s keeping me from buying the full version is that the distance is consistently underreported. Example: I did a ride of about 4 miles, and was using both this app and my apple watch. At the end of my ride, this app reported 3.9 miles while the apple watch reported 4.11 miles. I used the measure distance feature of Google Maps to measure the actual distance and it came in at 4.12 miles, almost exactly what the apple watch measured, but more than what this app measured. I’m using the iPhone GPS. Is there a way to calibrate so the measured distance is more correct?

Nice app.

I got this app after using 2 others. I like the large display. My only issue is that the distance, like the other apps is off. I also use a Garmin Vivoactive 3. I just completed a ride. This app showed 4.8 miles. My Garmin, which is very consistent showed 5.08. So, on a 10 mile ride, can I anticipate this app being off by .4 miles? I know the app uses the iPhone gps. But accuracy counts. I don’t race, I just ride for exercise and I ride about 35-50 miles a week.

Very good app

Nice app, easy to use, numbers on the screen large enough to be seen, it helps to keep my cadence, very accurate, several options in the screen. You have the option for free which it could be enough but for under 8 dollars it can be upgraded with more options. I am satisfied so far.

CycleComp app

This is a great app that allows you to keep track of your bicycle rides, very attractive with analog or digital display, easy to read numbers and basic data like speed, trip distance, max speed , average speed and burning calories. The con is that sometimes it stop recording the trip so you ended up with inaccurate info

Great bike app

Everything I wanted in a cycle app, including auto pause so you can have a true average speed. I like the interface, it’s easy to use and seems to be accurate. I upgraded to Pro to get rid of annoying pop up messages during a ride, which were annoying and my only criticism. Well worth the upgrade to save data. The app I had been using is no longer being supported, this is much better.

You can ditch your dedicated cycle computer

I have been running this app for 2 years and have gotten rid of my expensive dedicated cycling computers because they seem lame by comparison The displays are super easy to read day or night I have even noticed other riders taking note of the data being displayed while on the move And have been asked how to get it at stops The app is very easy on the phone and battery even though it forces the the phone to stay unlocked and the display brightness stays put while on the move ( really cool feature)The free version works great but pay the lousy one time $5 for the pro version The saved trip logging in the pro version has a lot of great data The Bluetooth connection via iPhone allows for heart and other monitors to come into play

Great cyclemeter app

Ive used this app for about a year now, its very stable and accurate, and does not drain the battery in comparison to other apps. I haven't however tested the bluetooth integration yet. Design is clean and characters are easy to read, while ridding during daytime or night. Settings are very clear thanks to good instructions provided by the developer. App also has a nice feature to export rides either via XML or JPG that can be shared. Would love to see future options to backup to icloud, heart rate display and compass direction.

Uses very little power, good for cyclists who go for long rides. - Analog Looks like a car speedometer. - Map Displays the speed, time and distance, tracks your ride on a map(Apple standard, hybrid, satellite or Google map) with optional distance markers. NOTE - The background operation option must be enabled for the app to keep running in the background Warning : Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
