Better as a friend game.
You can state as often as you want that the game is random, however having played cribbage in various forms for over 50 years, this game in AI expert mode comes up with the necessary card way too often to be random., especially if you beat or skunk the game. In friend mode it plays well, but against AI it is like every other cribbage game and not very random. I have yet to beat it 2 games in a row in AI expert mode, but it has won many games in a row.
Updates
I continue to LOVE this cribbage app! What I have enjoyed most is that it is a self-peg crib game. Honestly my crib skills have improved after playing games on this app, one that has allowed me to do my own pegging! The updates on are amazing. The developer (Colin Ference) mentioned many “minor” improvements. Minor maybe, but very noticeable ones! I’m reaching for the stars now (new top level). The app now calculates and shows points received after playing a game. I also like when you’re playing against the computer, you can choose “no muggings” now. Definitely helps because the computer never makes a mistake (not that I have been aware of anyway.) Hey, don’t take my word for it, play and enjoy the updates! (Too many too comment on.) And if you’re new to the game “Crib with you Friends,” the new tutorial mode is very helpful! Every time I think the app can’t get any better… I have been proven wrong!!! Lots of awesomeness! Another update that I like very much is when I am playing against the computer waiting for a crib player, then someone joins to play, the new update allows me to finish my game against the computer after I play with the person who joined in. It’s an excellent Crib App… all positives from me!
Better Multiplayer Functionality
Before trying to Upsell me so I can send more messages, I would love for the app to have the basic 2-player functionality where you don’t need both opponents online at the exact same time to play the game. That requirement makes it way less likely that I’ll keep playing. The whole intention of a virtual app for this game is that we can make our moves on our own time, otherwise I’ll just play my friend in person. Everything else about the app I love.
Exactly what I wanted
I’ve tried a lot of cribbage apps and this is exactly what I was looking for. I love how the app lets you do your own counting and doesn’t take that angle out of the game. It can take a little time to figure out the interface, but it’s easily the best one out there. I can tell it was developed by someone who really enjoys the game 🙂
I love this!
There are never any glitches I love this game I could play it for hours. I even win against the AI bot sometimes, sometimes a lot of the times. But when I’m playing against others I would really like slightly more time to count my hand and especially my crib. Even a couple more seconds would help.I find a rush my account and end up giving away too many muggins. Other than that the graphics the colors the quality the fun factor it’s all really awesome, thank you!
Love this crib game!
Thank YOU sooooo much for creating a crib game where I can play friends or other online players “live” again! I had a favorite cribbage game but they did away with playing “live”. One great thing with the other company’s crib game was you could play fiends on a “turn by turn” basis so it wasn’t “live”. Friends aren’t always able to get online at the same time to play a “live” game so a turn-by-turn game you can start a few games with friends and just play your hand anytime you log on to the app. Are you able to add that option? And can you add a feature so when you play someone online you can add them as a “Friend”? Thanks again for creating a crib game with “live” games with friends and others!!! Once you add a non-live play-by-play with friends and add an option to add a player as a “friend” this will be the perfect Cribbage app.
Good. BUT….
I like this app it lets me play with my wife when we are apart. What I don’t like is that when the app all of a sudden crashes and then I loose ranking points!? That makes no sense to me. I have been I. The middle/near the end of a game, and all of a sudden the game will end and I’ll see a (-) number for “loosing” when everything until that point was fine. I Also don’t like you can’t change your peg color unless you upgrade. The reason why is that some times it’s hard to see the colors some people have on their version of the game. I understand your trying to make money and make the app better it’s just really annoying.
Loving this cribbage version
I have started playing again after about 50+ years. This app has helped me learn how to play again and I’m really enjoying it. Wondering if the app will ever have a left handed version. With the cribbage board on the left side of the screen. 🙂 Thank you for this wonderful app, I really love playing cribbage with people from all over. When playing with random people, it would be great to see a running total of wins & loses with people who you’ve played before. Not sure how you could make that happen. Now when someone you’ve played before is paired with you, the wins & loses start over.

I love cribbage and your version is easy to play and I love the fact, as others have commented, that you can peg your own points! My wife and purchased the full version and I will tell my friends. I also like that it is easy to play with a friend. Will you be allowing for up to 4 players in the future? Team play would be amazing. Keep up the good work and thanks for making this available!
Good Game But...
Good cribbage game. Works well and is challenging. My mom and I have been looking for a cribbage game to play online and we found it! Our biggest frustration has been that we cannot resume games we've started if we close the app. Neither of us has been able to figure out how to go back to the game, so we're stuck starting a new one. We would love a place to resume games we started, or at least have it be more intuitive. Thank you!
