I placed an online order today. I received a text confirming that my order was received and will be delivered by Favor. Cotton Patch selected Favor. Tracking showed that favor delivered my food to another address. $40+ dollars and 2.5 hours later I have no food. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager who told me to contact Favor and see what they wanted to do about it. Cotton Patch wouldn’t take responsibility for the third party they selected to deliver my food. Buyer beware!
It is really inconvenient to not be able to use a gift card when paying in the app. They claim on the website that you can use a gift card by paying at the restaurant but that was not an option on any of their online ordering systems. It requires you to enter a Credit card to process the order. They also don’t offer any electronic payments like PayPal or Apple Pay. The design of this app needs some rethinking to make it more convenient and easier to use for ordering and payment. Apps are supposed to make ordering easier not more difficult.
We love the food most of the time but the order cannot seem to ever be right. This order was missing the salad ordered. Then I had something crunchy in my meatloaf!!! Took it out of my mouth to find an egg shell!!! The restaurant in Spring, TX needs to hire a cook that makes the meatloaf without egg shells and staff that verifies all orders are complete prior to releasing it to the customer. Also, I got an email saying, “No flags!! Get 30% off online only orders.” When I tried to pay there was a red flag!!! I wanted delivery. The email did not say the discount did not apply to delivery orders. Don’t advertise no flags unless you indicate all the stipulations with the discount.
We had the sweetest waitress I’ve ever had. Her name was Maycie at the Palestine TX Cotton Patch. She had a constant smile and was so friendly. She is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!! Thank you Maycie for being so nice to my husband and me on our date tonight. You really made our night.
We ordered curbside tonight & this experience was absolutely horrible from beginning to end. We waited over 30 minutes AFTER checking in & when we finally got our food & got home, my chicken fried brisket somehow turned into some horrible looking tacos.. but they remembered the Dr Pepper sauce because it was poured out all over the food & my little gravy was swimming in it. Somehow my sides got overlooked or given to the workers in the back that was eating while handling other people’s food! But no worries because there wasn’t a glove in sight anyway. I finally left without my gravy after 15 minutes because your manager was too busy flirting with the cooks & walking out the back with them than to deal with an unhappy patron that just had to drive 10 minutes BACK into town to have something to eat for dinner.. we literally eat at this establishment at least once a week & as horrible as the service was tonight, it’ll be a while before we go back or offer a recommendation for others to choose that as our eating spot for business, college, or any other kind of meet ups that we have. Do better Cotton Patch, because these recent reviews are ridiculous & absolutely unbecoming of you! Stephenville Texas
I placed online order for curbside at 2:37pm. I arrived and called to let them know I was there at 2:52pm. There were only 2 cars in the customer parking and another came while I was waiting. I took video of the empty parking lot at 3:07 and left at 3:10 without food. It’s now 3:34 and I have not heard from them and my online order shows COMPLETED.
When I arrived the order could not be found. When the order was finally ready and I dot it home, I found the salad to be hot and the chicken places on top of the salad to be cold and it appeared to be half a piece of chicken. The chicken fried steak I ordered was also cold and did not have gravy even though it was requested on the app. The only order that was correct was my child’s; which was warm and ready to eat.
Didn’t think I could order delivery straight from the site so I planned to order and pick up. To my surprise, I saw the delivery option. I chose that and less than 39 minutes later, my food was left at my front door. Awesome job Cotton Patch!
CottonPatch is my families go to place for a home cooked meal giving our pallet the desired taste of meals when growing up. The portions are large and each family member can order from comfort food to dietary items. We love CottonPatch!
We love eating in the restaurant as well as curbside pickup! The food is always delicious and the waiters always friendly. Thank you so much for your great food and Southern Hospitality!
