Crappy login!!!!!!!

Every time I start this stupid app I have to set a new password. Every f’ing time!!!! It’s like some lazy pc programmer with zero ability to program anything intuitive or half way intelligent was hired out of high school just to make the login screen. Other then that this companion app would be fine!!! This is sad because this has been going on since the very first release of the app and still no one was hired to fix it???!!! Come on guys!! You’re better than this!!! Get your low level lackeys to fix this stuff. Please!!!

Can’t even register

So I’m play dying light 1 to prepare for the second one. And for one of the load screen tips I see the companion app. I think it’s neat so I downloaded it. Thing is, every time I try to even register is says it can’t connect to account data. I don’t even have a account yet. When it’s not that it just simply says error. Read online for help and it seems this has been a thing for close to a year now. Great to see that this app has no care for it now.

No tech support for the app

Since the last update, I was logged out and have not been able to access the app since. There’s no tech support available that I can find for the app and no matter how many times I’ve reset the password, it doesn’t work. It was a useful and ridiculously simple boost for farming extra craft items and medkits until it logged me out and won’t let me back in. With no tech support for the app, I see no reason to continue to have the app on my phone.Update: After uninstalling the app, I was curious what would happen after a reinstall. Not only was I able to log back in, but I lost none of the short progress I had made. So here’s a fix to this particular problem for anyone looking for the non- existent app support.

Love! But please fix

I absolutely love this app, recently got back into Dying Light in anticipation of the sequel! And I redownloaded the app because I remember it being a fun and great way to pass time when I couldn’t play at home. It worked great for the first few days but I keep getting a “connection error” when I try to log on now. It’s been like this for a week or so now and really bums me out. I still love the game just hope the app works again for me.

Great app to go with the game

If it wasn't for this app I would play less dying light because it's gets boring grinding loot in the base game but this allows me to do something else and I know I'm getting loot! I seen very few games have mobile games like this.

Awesome

I’m so glad I gave this app a try despite the bad reviews! I’m using this app on my iPhone XS and the only issue I have (which is why I only gave 4 stars) is sometimes the scouts stats get warped looking and I have to restart the game. It’s not a huge deal though. I had no issue linking this app to my dying light game on my ps4.. I’ve already gotten so many med kits, herbs, alge, household supplies and nails from this app. It’s awesome and I def would recommend it! I’ve only been using it for a few days, but I’m hoping to advance to be able to get the king wep upgrades...I just keep my scouts in missions to stockpile med kits and household supplies.. thank you for the awesome companion Techland 🥰

No Progress Most of The Time

I love the idea of this app but the hours wasted sending people out and having them return with nothing over and over again has me leaving the app alone more and more since I got it. It’s just not worth to send 20 of the scouts out on 10-15 missions for 12+ hours and get 1 herb. Otherwise the app functions smoothly and is a good concept... they just need to up the odds a bit. I don’t expect stuff every time but it’s insanely rare anything but a flashlight comes back... which isn’t even part of the care package.

Garbage dont waste your time

Everyone else seems to be using this app just fine but it will not let me log in. I tried setting up a new account and it states my email is already in the system. Then I back out to login and says my account doesn't exist. Then when trying to recover my password it says that this account cannot be found. No tech support as stayed in several other reviews. Don't waste your time the game is barely playable as it is. No need to add this trash on top.

Game no longer works

I really enjoyed this game a few years back when I was playing Dying light for the first time. It was very helpful in gathering resources and was enjoyable to play. I downloaded the game again because I recently got back into Dying light. The issue was that the game doesn’t connect to the servers. I have tried changing my password, deleting and restarting the game, and looking for fixes online. Sadly the game still won’t work so I can’t recommend that others get it

No continued support

After the first time I logged in, and logged out it wouldn’t allow me to access it any more. I know it was the correct information because the prompt wouldn’t show up for incorrect entry of password, it just wouldn’t allow any access anymore. Not even deleting the app and re-downloading worked. Tech land if you are still paying attention to this please fix the app.

Description

Companion for Dying Light is your free, one way ticket to Harran, the zombie infected city in which you managed to survive in. As a newly promoted scout commander, your role is to manage a team of Scouts - other survivors who are brave and swift enough to fight with the infected while gathering supplies and saving other survivors. Manage your scouts as they embark on dangerous missions.

Find new recruits that will join your ranks. Assemble teams that are best suited for any given task and watch them come back with supplies and glory. Send the wrong people to fight the infected, and they will come back as one of them... Components, supplies, and gear that your scouts find in the Companion App can be transferred to your character in the Dying Light game when it’s released. NOTE: you'll need to create an account on your Dying Light game which will be available on any next gen console or PC.
