Good game, improve recruiting

As others have said, recruiting is my biggest headache with this game. I will regularly lose recruits to their second or third option when I am thousands of points ahead of the other school. This is fine to happen occasionally, but it seems to happen much too often and always to a recruit at the top of my board, not to a three star I’m recruiting just to fill a gap. However, the worst part of this feature is that I never win a recruit as their second or third option. You never benefit from the slim chance, only get hurt by it. The other thing I’d like to see is more options when selecting a new school. If my coach prestige is A, I should get to pick from almost any school. Instead, if I want to move to a smaller school it seems I would have to lose for awhile to get those kind of job offers. I have enjoyed the game but 20 seasons in these are the two biggest things that cause me to question if I’ll continue playing.Editing this to one star because the recruiting system is so broken. Absolutely ridiculous to lose five recruits in a week when I am still their top choice AFTER they commit. Deleted the game because it takes the fun away to spend time recruiting players then regularly lose them when you are their top choice.

Great Game but.....

This game is amazing. The fact that it is free is beyond generous from the maker. The recruiting mechanisms are wonderful, but need just a little more tweaking. The game is fun and I’ve wasted many hours on it. However as I have progressed I have encountered a few game breaking bugs. When you have auto save on and an ad runs after each week, it will lock in the saving screen and force you to exit out of the game then come back in it. This allows you to progress the week, but you risk corrupting your save file. I had to delete the app and restart it as all my saves were corrupted and would not load or delete. I lost my progress on renaming all the teams and had to re download the game. I know fixes will come later, but may I also add that maybe create a team customization tab on the main menu, therefore you can save team names across multiple dynasties. A ton of hard work has produced a great game, just some bug fixes are needed.

Great Sim - a few suggestions

This is a great overall game, and reminds me of my times playing the old ncaa games on Xbox. The only things that I would say could be improved upon would maybe be more control over what happens in games. I can have the advantage in offensive and defensive strategies, and be a clearer superior team, but lose to someone who is 0-8 every other year. I don’t mind it happening, because I know it does in real life, but it is a bit to common. Also, I’m tired of losing so many recruits that I’m their first choice by 2000 points. I like the percentage idea, but maybe add a bonus for every 100 points you are beating the second team. All I know is that I’m losing more than 16% of recruits and not getting that in return if I do happen to fall to second. Love the game, I have probably started 10 dynasties and hope to start at least 10 more.

The potential

Wow. What an awesome game this could be, this is like the wobbly, quickly made frame of a 5 bedroom 4 bath house. The concept is fantastic, all of the customizable options makes it so I have all the real teams in, and overall there’s just never been a good sim game like this on mobile. That being said, the logic in this game was made in an alternate universe. If you’re recruiting someone, you could be their Top 1 place to go and 1,000+ points ahead of everyone else. But the second person always has a 16% chance to get that recruit. Annoying but that’s manageable, or it would be but it happens way more than 16% and also WILL NEVER HAPPEN FOR YOU. If you’re not 1 on their list don’t even waste your time. Oh my god the sims. I’ve started out Preseason #1 in the polls, 99 overalls everywhere on my roster, and I had my 99 QB win MVP with 136 Td’s and 13 Int’s and WE WENT 6-6 BECAUSE THERE’S ABSOLUTELY NO LOGIC AT ALL. It’s entirely chance which is not fine but at least say that. Don’t make think that recruiting and strategizing will help me if the morons who made this game have an unranked team shut out the #1 offense in the country. Please do some soul searching and come back to this with a way better game. ALSO MAKE A “CALL ALL RECRUITS BACK” OPTION, trust me I know it sounds like that actually make sense and you don’t know anything about that but please.

Great Game

This is a fantastic game that definitely fills the void left by the NCAAF games. Very enjoyable and easy to understand. However, I have a few slight suggestions that I think would go a long way in making the game even better. 1) Have a sort of Hall of Fame or records section for both your team and the league to keep track of stand out players/seasons. 2) Add a call back all option in recruiting. Especially in the later weeks when you’ve figured out everyone’s high value calls, this would be very useful and save a lot of time compared to manually calling each player back. 3) It would be really cool if you could improve your school’s attributes like stadium atmosphere and academics over time like you can improve prestige. Perhaps this could be done by having the option to build a new stadium somehow (perhaps at the cost of scholarships for a period of years) or setting a minimum gpa requirement for your team. In recruiting you could only focus on players that fit that requirement or, for players already on the team, assign them a tutor, etc. Just some suggestions that I think would improve an already fantastic game.

Great Game With A Few Minor Bugs

Great game with a few bugs. The four that stand out to me are as follows:I’ve been 2,000 points ahead in recruiting and lose the player. When convincing players to come back, the only way to not get them back is to not attempt to convince them.It seems like your coach prestige affects the jobs available to you. Eventually, it gets to the point where the school you’re at and the same 3-5 teams are giving you offers and it stagnates. It makes sense that a D Prestige coach can’t go from a bad school to a top school in year one, but a good coach should be able to go from a big school to a small school with no problem.Minor, but if I have music running, and I open the game, it turns off. I can then go and turn the music back on and then it plays just fine. Not a huge deal, just annoying.I also have two small possible additionsOne small improvement could be to add some cool marching band type music in the background. It would add to the college football feel, as one of the biggest things at live college football games (aside from the game itself) is the marching band. The other would to allow you to take team names from one save to another. You can edit team names, but doing names for 130 teams gets boring after a while and seems kind of pointless after a while, especially if you already have custom team names in a different save.

Great game, few bugs

I have planned on always making a simulation football title with the NCAA 13 style recruiting, but got beat to the punch lol. The game is fantastic, but the recruiting is very frustrating. Losing recruits whom are separated by literally 1000 points after he’s taken visits and scholarships by his schools is ridiculous. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, but this happened to me 3 weeks in a row. I was ahead on each of them by 800 minimum to every other school to offer scholarships and visits, only for them to choose the bigger school seemingly out of spite, or being the only school to look at a player for the entire season to help open pipelines into bigger states nearby only to have him decide after one week of recruiting by another group of 5 school he wants to walk on to Miami OH. If recruiting became more fair, and the idea of adding actual logos or the ability to slide exactly how aggressively you pass and play. This game is awesome though and has the potential to be the best simulation CFB title on mobile!

Great Game Few Tweaks

The game is fun and really has everything for a perfect college game. The edit team feature is nice, I changed all the teams to the real ones I just wish you can change the conference names. Recruiting is pretty fun but I wish it was easier to navigate. The ability to swipe left and right through your targets instead of having to close the window and scroll. Also it would be nice to have in game scenarios like it’s 4 & 1 in the fourth should we go for it or kick the field goal. Just more things to do as the coach. The game planning was a little difficult at first but i found the playbook best fit for my team. My thing with the game plan is that it shouldn’t just be changing your play style it should be more of a this team got these players how should we stop them. Like if a team has a great qb but do terrible against blitz I should be able to train my team on blitz packages and get a weekly boost for that game. Overall I really enjoy the game it looks nice easy to navigate very small amount of ads it’s just a nice game to have on your phone to pass by time.

Good game but has flaws

This is definitely the best CFB simulator game on the App Store. However, recruiting is bugged. If you start off as a small school you have to focus on a handful of lower recruits and just one or two 4-5 star ones. This is what I did but I lost my 5 star recruit to another school even though I had a 300 point lead on the next school. This entirely frustrating as I wasted a large portion of my recruiting time on this player that by the points should have joined my team. Is there some other factor that we are not seeing? If so I’d like to know what the reasoning was for this player to not choose my school. Also, scouting and recruiting time should be different just as it was in the NCAA games. It would also be nice if we could edit all the teams outside of the a dynasty. That way we can use the teams we create for any dynasty we create and not have them trapped in one. Lastly, we should be able to have more game planning abilities that determine the result of a game. Maybe have sliders for the amount of passing vs running and how aggressive vs cautious you play on offense and defense. Otherwise, the game is good and helps fill the void left by the NCAA football games.

Review

This is a really amazing game but there is a few things that would put this on top number 1 is make it easier to rebuild someone if your not like a 4 star or higher you won’t get anyone higher than like a two and one stars so you can’t win and I get it you won’t get 5 stars but 4 stars should be get able or make two or three stars like gems and not impossible or not impossible to get game changing players as lower Tier team anything’s it’s almost impossible to rebuild a team Number 2 make your team more consistent I can go 9-3 one season then play the same teams with a few new freshman loose a couple players and go 3-9 there is very few teams that do that it shouldn’t happen every other year your good or god awful The third thing is make players commit faster I shouldn’t be stuck going 9-3 with a lot of 5 star players then none of them commit y’all the offseason and I’m stuck with the scrapes Thats all I got
