Perfect for Civil War and military history fans (like me)
I love U.S. 18th and 19th Century military history, especially the War Between the States. This app has all the minor and major battles in chronological order, with a handy link to its corresponding Wikipedia page. Each Wikipedia article is professionally written, so you get the entire history of the battle. Plus info on all the incompetent generals that ran the armies until Grant finally faced off against Lee. You can dip into a battle entry at random, or start from 1861 you've reached 1865. Perhaps a similar app featuring the battles of the American Revolution can be produced. Thanks.
Great App and very helpful!
This is a great app, and does not just show you directions to the battlefields but also has a summary about every single battle. There are many obscure battles that I had never heard of before this app. Recommend it to anyone who is interested in the Civil War!
