The quotes are pretty good and the countdown is accurate. Also I like how you have the ability to share the countdown or quote. The only thing is that it would be nice if you could share them both at the same time
Fun & Beautiful App
Although, the app maybe simple but it does what it promises to do, can share messages with Facebook and Twitter, plays a cute Christmas song, and beautiful background picture. I have enjoyed the uplifting app over this holiday season. Thank you to the creators of the app. Merry Christmas.
Needs a No Ads Option
This is a beautiful app, it truly is, but I do wish it had the option to purchase a version without ads. The first time I opened the app, I was greeted with beautiful music and the screen informing me...19 Days Until Christmas. I then tapped the presents to see the daily quote. I had just enough time to read the quote and the words really start sinking in...Charles Dickens inspiring me to be a better person, not just at Christmas, but all throughout it the year. I am truly “feeling” the emotions of the meaning behind the Dickens quote when suddenly a full screen ad pops up wanting me to shop for gifts at Nordstrom’s. Ugh, what a sudden and very unwelcome interruption. I get, I totally get that these smaller apps need the advertisements for support, but must it be a complete and total interruption like this? Now the big hot pink box at the top of the screen wanting me to buy a Samsung TV totally ruins the beautiful graphics, takes away from the music and distracts me from the quote. I don’t even want to open the app anymore. I would pay even $5 for no ads in an app like this. If ads don’t bother you, it is a beautiful, wonderful app. But at this point, I have seen more than enough ads in my emails and in my online shopping thus far, not only do I NOT want to see another one, but I am actually put off by the store and items that pop up. There is a time and a place for advertising - this is certainly not it.
This is Great!
I love this app, there are no problems with it. I just think you should add more to the premium version than just the D.I.Y. quote which, is not worth 0.99 alone. The fact that this app shows you beautiful Christmas quotes everyday is amazing. You can even look back at the quotes you have received in your countdown history! Did I mention I absolutely LOVECHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Edit: I forgot to say, one more improvement is to say how many hours, minutes, and seconds are left until Christmas day. Not to say how many hours, minutes, and seconds to tell you how long it takes for the day to end. Yes, that is very helpful, but there are other apps for that.
Great but...
I think that this app is a perfect Christmas countdown, and it fulfills its purpose very well + cute quotes and music. However, I do think that that there are quite too many adds. Not an overwhelming amount, but I do think that there should be less. (mostly because of the app's simplicity, there should be any)
Simple and Sweet
This is the perfect app for a year round count down. On my iPhone I have it as a widget so I only need to swipe once for a quick peak to check what the countdown is at. I also love opening it and reading the Christmas quote for a bit of cheer throughout the year.
I❤️this app
I love this app there are no adds I love the qouats sometimes there fun like one I had was you know you are getting older when Santa starts to look younger 😂 I have never got a add witch I love and I completely love how it shows minutes seconds and hours and day unless you don’t want to see them or you all you have todo is click the settings and turn on show countdown seconds. At first I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to remember my quotes but then you can just click the star ⭐️ and it will save it. Another fun thing about this app is to get to the quotes is you press the present 🎁 so it’s like getting a present 🎁 daylie.!!!!!! You should get this app
Needs More Quotes & Music Randomizer
So if you're a Christmas junkie, this app is for you. And of course you're a Christmas junkie - or else you wouldn't be here. It's a fun Christmas countdown app that works as stated. Two suggestions for improvement however:1. The app needs more quotes. I'm about 125 days into this app and the quotes are repeating. (This should tell you that there’s quite a few quotes alone, but there could/should be more) Some quotes are really great, while others are phoned in and using Xmas song lyrics. All in all, it's a cute feature. 2. This is more for fun than anything else. As another perk for paying customers, have a song randomizer that plays when opening the app. “I Saw Three Ships (Come Sailing In)” is great, but if there were some variety, it'd give it that extra panache. OR - having a randomizer ONLY for the 25 days leading up to Xmas might be cool??
Love the app, not so much the ads.
This app is amazing, so lovely. I have it set to 6:00 a.m, when I get up, that was a very nice touch. The quotes, amazing. Love them. Just the thing that ticks me off is the ads, I mean I can live with them. That’s how much I like the app. Anyways, that is my only problem. Thank you.
Christmas isn’t about the ads
I Love everything about Christmas and the app, but the ads are so off putting to me. I don’t like that to see the wonderful Christmas quote, I have to endure a full screen commercial everyday! The beautiful quotes is the only reason I’m keeping the app I don’t mind the little banners on top.
