I love it
I love it but some minor things don’t make sense to me. 1. Certain bugs take forever to fix (I’m looking at your mermaids)2. Houses that haven’t been used aren’t cleared so now, bc everyone plays in the same space, it’s full of unused houses3. My main issue. Why do we need to fight Noble beasts for material for a Grand pill???? That doesn’t make sense to me. Obviously I can’t a noble beast, I’m trying to make a grand one. Wouldn’t it make more sense to hunt Grand beasts to make a grand beast? And why the hardest ones???? I have to fight a Bone Dragon to make a Pinnapup? That doesn’t even sound right… those two are not the same AT ALL 😭-I love everything else in the game. The artwork, the beasts, space, the beautiful sunsets, playing with people, the character customization… everything. I can tell a lot of hard work was put out into this game. Unfortunately I only have a mac so I can only play on mobile. But I love the experience so far. I just wish the evolved pets didn’t feel so unobtainable. Not a lot of people play actively so finding teams to hunt the Nobles (I won’t even try an Illustrious) can take days. Grand beasts to make grand beasts and noble beasts to make nobles makes the most sense to me

Great concept! Very Unique! I was a little disappointed that when I created an insect character with “big Ol wings” and logged in I couldn’t fly! You’d think each race would have a special ability. Maybe a level unlock system to acquire them. Water races should be able to stay under water and swim fast. Winged races should fly, tiger races can stealth, human race need less resources to build, cavemen race can dig, space race can harvest valuable resources from space, etc. Use the pets for crossover travel for all races. Swimming pets, flying pets, land pets, space pets etc. With such wild and unique races giving them specific characteristic traits and travel would give them far more depth. It would be a lot cooler too! Let’s start patching!! Thanks!
Better than Ark
So far I’ve been really enjoying this game. Some of the things I love are how you can minimize the game and hop back in and it doesn’t make you reload. The monsters aren’t as threatening as Ark, you have time to get your bearings and learn the game before things start eating you. In Ark I loaded in, started reading a menu and was already being attacked by a swarm of raptors. The games character customization is insane, with a bunch of races I’ve never seen in any other MMO! Definitely keeping this on my phone for the foreseeable future. Only game I have right now on my phone that I can’t wait to open up and keep playing!! Micro transactions are here, and there are Ad pop ups when you first log on, but it never feels forced down your throat. Definitely recommend for anyone who likes crafting, survival, taming and raising monsters, all while customizing your perfect character.
Incredible Game With a Few Issues
I really want to give this game five stars because it is one of my two favorite games ever. But unfortunately there are a few issues (as is with most games tbh). The biggest issue I personally have is that it is really hard to progress through the game and get really good without spending money. And then there are cool events with amazing cosmetics and stuff that you can only obtain by spending a heck ton of money… Which most people do not have unfortunately. If there were more ways to put in the effort as a free to play player and still be able to progress through the game and obtain everything the game has to offer then I would absolutely gibe this game five stars. I am level 63 in game and have only spent a little here and there… This game has s o much potential. I’m excited to see where it goes. I also wish the people were more friendly and there were better ways to make connections in game… But this is also coming from a Sky COTL player who loves making friends and meeting amazing and kind people haha. I just feel like I have had way too many unpleasant encounters with pretty awful people tbh… I have definitely met really nice people in the game but yeah. Odd amount of angry and rude people. My name is Grungo btw if anyone wants to friend me. I need more nice friends lol
Best open world Mmorpg on mobile!
I’ve tried out more mmos on mobile than I care to remember and have uninstalled the vast majority, but FINALLY here is one that is actually fantastic! It’s got more to it than most PC games. It’s got animal taming, house creation, exploration, crafting, resource gathering, auction house, pvp zone, clans, and so much more. You can do whatever you want. Things are offered in the game store, but you can totally be FTP if you choose. I haven’t put this game down since launch. It’s really that good! I’ve read some of the 1* reviews and I’m assuming they are written by high school dropouts, since they are complaining about it being difficult or confusing. If you have an average IQ you’ll be fine I assure you. I highly recommend this game.
Not much left to do
I’ve been playing the game for about a 7 months now non stop with my friend. We love the game and every aspect of it, but there isn’t much left to do. With us being able to go into space, we would love to see new detailed planets, new creatures, the leveling system is kinda hard and the experience isn’t just the same. I love how open the world is but I’ve been to every spot within an hour of gameplay including outer space. The animals/beasts in the game are to hard to capture and kill. The graphics are fantastic and I love the fluent mechanics of movement. The game needs a update on its housing as well, and there has been bugs and glitches with the user interface and the backpack glitching out saying I had something new there but it wasn’t, that goes along with the user interface. Overall the game is great but it lacks new content, and there are still a lot of bugs to be fixed. So I deleted the game until every bug is removed and the game is fluent enough to bring me back.
Was great until….
I really enjoyed the game but then when forced to register I lost my character and progress which really sucked as I put a lot into the character. That was the first bloop Chimeraland made. Then I started from square one and progressed really far and worked really hard. Then the servers were merged and my house was destroyed and someone else’s house was put in that spot. My house was built specifically for that spot and won’t work anywhere else and the house put there was really stupid for that spot in my opinion. That was the second bloop Chimeraland made. I stopped playing now because I’m not going to screw me over a third time. This shows me to never start playing a game day one and give it a year to see if it survives. I don’t think this one will, I never ran into another player except my sibling when we planned to play at the same time. So I’m done and even if this makes it a year I won’t be playing again. I’m very frustrated as I could see the potential but the developers ruined it for me quickly.
Great but needs more
Ps I tried to write this review over 5 times and I kept clicking off so ima make this review short but sweet also I would hope the game devs read this so I’m gonna talk as if they are reading this 1. I don’t like how you can only have 28 pets I prefer to have a limit of maybe 50…because I am a animal hoarder and I like to have multiple variations of one animal but all at the same time 2. I prefer survival games in single player because every time I travel to look for a place to build my house there are always people there I do not like neighbors that’s why I like how ark offers you single or multi I would just prefer this option 3 I think it would be cool to add npcs that you could build a relationship with and maybe a love interest just to keep busy and add more life to the game 4 if you guys could add barns and stuff and stable or even make shift den for all the wolf types that would be could now guess you can see I’m kinda going for a animal survival game build a “ranch” but these are simply preference that I like or am looking for in a game and I’m just giving ideas for the maybe future 🤔 but if you don’t know whether to download or now i think you should it’s definitely worth the experience 👍 Ps I know I said it would be short but I got carried awayAlso what is mountain stone I’ve been trying to recruit the love leader but I don’t have mountain stone
Chimeraland is the game I wish I had years ago
This game is a gem seriously. Yes it has a few bugs but they aren’t too bad. I crash every now and then but that’s probably because my phone has so little space for this massive game lol The sheer size of the game itself is impressive. I love how they said hold my beer and then proceeded to break past the open world standard for games.I’m level 61, the leveling isn’t challenging at all you just have to keep at it like any game. If you don’t play you won’t level. Most creatures are difficult to kill without help, even for me as I don’t have the best gear yet. But I don’t really focus on that part too much. The building is what takes most of my time. So many homes to build so little time lol I can spend entire nights creating a house. I’m hardly ever staying with one long though so I keep moving, keep trying new designs and it’s fun for me. I do wish the game had more available building materials and wallpapers. Endless possibilities!!
Good game but complex chat system……..
When I first started off it was a great start but when I registered the account I have to start from square one. Then rank myself back up without some tutorial to help a bit but what I didn’t notice is the big complex chat system that’s lock until level 30. The team chat I did the second time after building up. what’s scared off the level 11 is the inability to team chat then runs off towards the end of the north map until I leave the team. I tried one last chance to make a confession that I did not see the team chat but was unable to team chat several times. Then I think of this. Let them go and have to learn this chat thing every time to remember to press the middle light dark box then team chat. From the hardcore console games of certain titles.
